We were lucky enough to get a reservation for one of the igloos. Service was great. Food was delicious. Igloo was fun for our family.
We had dinner in the igloo.Food was excellent and the service was outstanding!
Great experience first time in an igloo the service was excellent
The food was great!! A bit pricey, but very good.. we ate lunch in a “heated” igloo, but the heat was pretty much non existent. Other than that, we really enjoyed the food!
We had lunch in an igloo on a freezing day. There is a heat lamp but be aware it can get cool on a really cold day. Service was terrific; very impressive how the servers go in and out with the cold. The food was excellent. The noise level was okay but note the igloos are together and don’t serve as noise insulation, so if your neighbors are loud you’ll hear them. Overall very nice experience; I recommend it.
Good was excellent! We planned to eat outside in the heated igloos but it was just too bitterly cold. They graciously allowed us to move to an indoor table.
Very good service and food. A little pricey, but overall very good
We went in the igloo on a very cold night, but they brought us many warm drinks and delicious food! The truffle fries were phenomenal!
While the food and drinks were very delicious, the prices were quite reasonable, and the overall ambience of the igloos were adorable (despite being pretty chilly so dress warm), the service was surprisingly NOT good.
I went with my girlfriend and the first thing our server said to us was “just so you know i have bigger parties to take care of so I won’t be around you much”. After we got our drinks and appetizers, we didn’t see our server for 45 minutes which sucked because we would’ve ordered more drinks. And finally, when we asked for the check after sitting there doing nothing with no food or drinks for close to 15 minutes, she was rude and took 20 minutes to bring us the check.
It’s unfortunate the service was so bad because I’m sure this place is a wonderful date spot but sadly, not for us.
Dinner was good not overly wowed…
Dinner on a Sunday evening, outdoors, in an igloo. Service was great, the temperature inside the igloo was just right for the two of us. My date got the chicken sausage fettuccine, which was amazing, and the portion was moderate. I actually got the same dish to go. I ordered the grilled pork rib chop which also moderately portioned.
The igloos were pretty cool but it was still cold and the service was really slow. Food was good tho
My daughters birthday. All was great. We ate in igloo and very nice and warm. Service was particularly good.
Loved the igloos! Very friendly staff
Rented an igloo - so fun!
We have been to the igloos several times throughout the past year and have always had a great experience. Last night was chilly and for some reason the igloo wasn't as warm as usual, but still a fun experience. The wait staff was accommodating and friendly. Not an easy job given how cold it was outside- we certainly appreciated the effort! The food is consistently good and the ambiance is fun with the igloos overlooking the harbor.
Made reservations for an igloo last night. Sat at the bar for a bit because we were early for our reservation. The bartenders and waitresses were gossiping loudly the whole time, whatever. But the bartender was also eating fruit out of the bar garnishes frequently without washing her hands before grabbing a new piece. The worst part was when we got called for our reservations, we sat in the igloo for a half hour and no one came to take our order or even say hi after we were seated. We left and told them on the way out, didn’t even get an apology. Went to Temazcal next door, service & food were phenomenal.
We did the igloo thing. The manager was incredibly nice and accommodating ahead of our reservation. So that was a good thing.
The igloos were freezing. The only heat source is a lamp above the tables. Not sufficient. And plus, there are 4 tables snuggled in there together making a table that’s way too large. When you sit at it, the heat doesn’t even reach you.
Also, our igloo was completely frosted over, meaning we couldn’t see out of it.
The food was serviceable at best. Very expensive. It’s a bar and bar food.
Our server was very sweet. But the ladies who work inside apparently don’t know that they have a mask mandate. Or they do. They wear masks around their chins and not over their mouths. If they do, apparently they think it’s cute to let their nostrils out of their masks at all times. Disrespectful to the diners at best.
TL;DR - it was freezing in the igloos, food was meh, server and manager were nice.
Loved the food and igloo
Wanted to celebrate my best friend's birthday and what can you do during a pandemic surge but find a great little place like 75 on Liberty Wharf that has private, heated outdoor igloos! Our server Raquel was fantastic and friendly and of course since it was just my friend and I it was quiet and we had a great time and felt completely covid comfortable. Food was great, had a good glass of wine and though it was cold and rainy outside it was warm and fun inside our little place. Great idea, thank you 75 on Liberty!!!
We got an igloo right on the water. It was drizzly but we were warm and dry. The food was delicious, hot coffee, hot strudel, hot chocolate chip cookie. We did not hear the noise of traffic and could not hear the couple in the igloo next to us. Our server took very good care of us and offered us a bluetooth speaker so we could play our own music while we were there. The overall experience was unique and interesting for us but also comfortable. The food and service was great. I hope to be back there again soon.
I made this reservation through OpenTable 1 month in advance. 6 of us drove into Boston (10-30 miles) to meet for dinner, purposely to dine at a restaurant with outdoor igloo dining for COVID precautions. When we arrived, 75 Liberty Wharf was closed. There was a note on the door saying they were closed for cleaning. This is understandable given the current state of things, however, I should have been contacted prior and notified that the restaurant was not open. However, nobody contacted me, and we all drove pretty far to arrive only to leave again. This is unacceptable. We should have been notified.
We reserved for Jan. 2nd several weeks in advance, and got a confirmation email from OpenTable, as well as a text message the day before. And yet when we showed up, the restaurant was closed for several days around the new year. We were trying to celebrate a special event with out of town guests, and easily could have made alternate plans had we known the restaurant was closed. As it turned out, we had to get take out from a casual restaurant and eat at home. Liberty clearly doesn't care enough about its customers to make sure that reservations are blocked off when they're closed or to inform customers with reservations when they will be closed.
Igloo was fantastic, some of our food was excellent (fish tacos, fish & chips), some not (pasta w vodka sauce). Food took over 1.25 hrs to arrive because, according to our server, the kitchen lost our order.
Dining in the igloo allowed us to feel safe. We had a great visit.
It was great to be able to have a long awaited business celebration in a cozy private igloo. Food was very good, although the appetizers are limited, and we were able to stay, drink and enjoy ourselves in comfort and safety. Would happily do again
We are in the igloos by the water and it was awesome! Service was great!
Igloo dining experience was fun and picturesque.
Food was fine, nothing to write home about but not bad… everything needed salt and once added tasted much better (and I generally don’t add salt). Portions were generous. Our server Brianna was very personable and made the experience more enjoyable.
Our server was phenomenal. She remembered every complex order we gave without writing it down.
Food was expensive for what it actually was, but environment and service was wonderful!
Our server was not interested in doing his job. He never checked on us one time. We had to ask for drink refills while he was standing behind the bar doing nothing. The food was good and the location is lovely but that did not make up for the lack of service.
Good experience. We were seated early in one of the igloos. We were comfortable in the igloo. We started with a cocktail, ordered clam chowder and split a large salad. Wish they had more appetizers to choose from.
Our server, Kelsey, was very nice and attentive. Props to the wait staff outside, they are not lazy in the least.
Having spent many a happy night at 75 Chestnut, I was so happy to book an igloo here for Boxing Day brunch. Everything was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Hope to repeat the experience soon.
Wonderful time. Food was excellent as well as service. We had Brunch and everyone was pleased with their meals.
We loved the relaxed feel and ambiance at 75. The food was amazing from blue crab ravioli to chicken sausage fettuccine. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be back.
I had a reservation for one of the outdoor igloos and the experience was great. I ordered the pork rib chop entree and it wad delicious!
Great location but the food was not so good. I ordered the Boston Bib Salad and the dressing was too oily, bland, and too much.
The igloo/dome was a little too cold for comfort.
Touch chilly in the igloo. Chair covers would help. Maybe advise patrons to bring blankets or something?
