75 Main Ratings and Reviews
75 Main is the place to be in Southampton. The owner, Zach, is hands down one of the nicest and most hospitable business professionals I have ever met. The entire establishment prides itself on giving their customers the best experience in all areas. The food, service, hospitality, and atmosphere are all incredible. I would recommend this place over and over to anyone who wishes to have a GREAT meal in Southampton. Thanks for yet again another incredible meal at 75 Main.
This is one of the best places to dine at , while in Southampton. It's a classy spot with innovative and deliscious dishes. A bit pricey for everyday dining for the regular diner, but not overly expensive and the food is worth it.
White table cloths , nice open view towards the Main Street in Southampton. Classic and continental dishes with light and fresh Mediterranean inspired flavors, excellent wine and superb service. Tasteful and classic desserts to satisfy any sweet craving. Great for business or casual and a special date. Dishes to try: mussels with light marinara and cream broth, grilled octopus, grilled tuna over celery purée, chopped salad, ricotta pillows with taleggio cheese, raspberry creme brûlée.
My first time here was awesome, however my most recent experience was underwhelming. We were a party of 5, seated in the back of a very tight space. Due to the rainy evening - outside seating was unavailable and it was evident that management had brought in additional tables to meet reservation needs. There were unmatched tables and chairs in the area near our table and seating was tight. We order a bottle of wine and before we had a glass, our order was taken. Our entire meal took 45 mins to order, eat and pay. It felt extremely rushed and we got the impression they were looking to turn over tables quickly to cash in on dinner service. The servers were attentive and pleasant. We all had pasta dishes, which were mediocre.
Very disappointed. I had invited 2 other couples for anniversary celebration. Our table of 6 was against the wall under an AC unit that leaked. We Complained but no action other than wiping it with a napkin. He said that it happens from time to time so it wasn't the first time. I didn't know how bad the leak was until the end of the night when I saw that My sister-in-law's blouse was soaked.
Between the music and the people we couldn't really talk without yelling.
Food was good. Service was great. Not worth it. It was over $500 celebration dinner that tourney out to be a disaster. I was embarrassed that I took them there. I won't be back.
Loved everything about this place especially the ambiance. We were on vacation and dined there because of its popularity and repution. Food was good, service was quick. My only con was the waiter/waitress weren't friendly. Very serious, not even a welcoming smile from both. Just took our order, served and that was it. Very little interaction. Didn't see them again unless we asked for them.
75 Main in the middle of August is exactly what you might imagine a Southampton restaurant experience to be. Everything and everyone is on display. The food is not bad. The service is amateurish but well meaning. Everybody is attractive. Everything is a little more expensive than you would expect everywhere else, but so what? This is summer in the Hamptons.
I must say I was disappointed with the noise level but pleasantly surprised with the food. My
cousin and I shared two entrees, the pasta with mushrooms, pancetta, and peas in a sauce lightly seasoned with cream. It was delicious. The second entree was the special of pan seared red snapper. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Only negative was that I didn't think that the mashed sweet potatoes complemented the dish.
While they were VERY accommodating to our large group and super friendly, the service was lovely, it left alot to be desired. The food was eh for the price. The wine list made it very hard to find an appealing reasonably priced bottle. They put us near the kitchen so was a bit "ugly". Just had expected a bit more from the experience.
Service is pretty mediocre. Untrained and unmotivated waiters convey that they're doing a job to make some money vs. providing the guests with a great experience. Food comes out too fast and is rushing the guests so the table can be reassigned again.
