Ordered Organic Salmon and Steak Avacado salad- both great. Loved Fig Manhatten. Server was friendly and attentive.
Chicken sausage and eggs with hollandaise was average. Poached eggs undercooked. Mexican omelette also only average and uninspired. The setting and pace were the best part. We have been here several times and find it inconsistent.
Friendly neighborhood place with good food, service, drinks and ambiance— we had a great time!
Service was great. The food came out quick and had great flavor. The cocktails were good as well. I will recommend this place.
75 Chestnut is doing a wonderful job ! They have outside seating as well as tables inside. We shared the salmon and a salad and it was perfectly prepared. 75 Chestnut has become one of our favorite restaurants in Boston.
Quite atmosphere and good food and ample cocktails
If you want the most casual, relaxed but still upscale restaurant come to 75 Chestnut. There is nothing pretentious about it at all however that does not take away from the quality and ambiance. We were celebrating our very recent engagement (just 5 mins prior to arriving at the restaurant) and the whole restaurant was celebrating with us, customers and all. We sat outside and the area of Chestnut on a warm, nearly fall night was just perfect. Little noise at all, didn't have to raise your voice. The food, wow some of the best seafood I have had, love to know what batter they had mixed up for the calamari!
The food was outstanding. The lobster toast and chicken sausage hash were of note.
Kevin our server was attentive and friendly. Even put up with the weak flirting of one of my table mates.
The only questionable thing was we had a table in the back. The two people with their backs to the wall both knocked their heads against the most ill placed shelf Imaginable.
We had Sunday brunch. Loved everything about it! The service and food were great.
Wonderful and delicious! Excellent service, too.
The whole dinner was rushed and the waiter was hovering to keep it moving. We were in and out under an hour. If you like places that have good food, but hustling to turn tables this is for you. It’s not for us.
Food was decent.... good wine selection by the glass... a bit overpriced! music was way too loud ... too bad they could really do so much better with the beautiful location and bar and interior
75 Chestnut is a quaint restaurant on a quiet street, just off of Charles Street on beacon Hill. Had requested an outdoor table, but it was first come first served. They did their best to accommodate us. The hostess and our waiter Eddie were both very friendly and helpful. One person in our party has a lot of food sensitivities, and they worked hard to find something that met her needs. Our group had PEI mussels, cod, and salmon. All were very tasty. Had the avocado salad from their specials menu, which was also very good. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great food, great service. Really nice little place
The meals are great, the service is splendid. There weren’t many people around the time my friend and I dined, hence we got to enjoy the conversations and vibe. Very pleasant experience generally.
The samon was cooked to perfection.
It was crispy on top and moist inside.
We come here every time we visit Boston. Wonderful food and a welcoming atmosphere.
Food and Service were excellent. Will definitely be one of our favorites when we return to Boston.
Excellent restaurant, excellent food and very close by the hotel. Highly recommended.
Never disappointed when we dine at 75 Chestnut St. The food is always great, cooked perfectly, nice presentation, and always several items to choose from. Service is friendly & professional.
Nice spot; the food never disappoints, the drinks are always fun, and the ambiance is great. Nestled into Chestnut street and quite unassuming, I enjoy the upscale dining here.
Great experience ! Our waitress was the best , gave us great feedback on menu items and was very attentive !
Always great to go to 75!
This is a neighborhood restaurant where we go fairly often. Last night the food was better than ever - lovely heirloom tomato salad and a very good salmon special. Thanks!
I ordered cod which was somewhat bland. The lobster gnocchi was good as well as the tenderloin tips. The service was average; the waitress was nice but not a great waitress.
Quaint and cozy atmosphere. Will return and recommend in the future.
Our server was very patient, and wonderfully pleasant. This is such a wonderful, cozy location, and I would come back again.
Overall the food was good and moderately priced. We ended up at a bar table, since the first table had a poor location along a curved bench seat. The bartender was able to take drink and food orders right away, but once the food was served she got to busy to check on us and clear any plates or provide beverage refills. The hostess/manager walked by multiple times as did another waitress unwilling to provide any assistance. We had planned on ordering dessert but after waiting 15 minutes to get anyone’s attention we just went to the bartender ask for our tab and left. The hostess/manager that it was more important to take down umbrellas and clean adjacent tables rather than pay any attention to us. And we went to a neighboring restaurant and got our dessert there.
Food was fair, sub-par. No real flavor. Not worth the price.
Wonderful! The space is a bit tight for COVID times. Some tables are way too close, one chair literally next to the other customers. But the food, music and environment are great.
Loved the atmosphere, service and food. The mussels were particularly delicious. We will be returning customers for sure!
We were very pleased with our food selections. Linguine caprese and New England seafood stew. Friendly and cozy
Our server Eddy was excellent. Food was average. Prices were pretty high.
It is rare for a vegetarian to find much worth eating on a Boston menu. 75 Chestnut stands out with its still modest but excellent veg options. Very flavorful and nicely presented.
Food was awesome! Amy the hostess was terrific!
a pleasure to eat at our neighborhood restaurant. I very polite waiter, I ordered coffee, it was too strong for me and asked to have ice tea, he was very obliging and said he would not charge for the coffee, in this day and age when restaurants are hurting I thought that was very kind, I hope I made up for not paying for the coffe in our tip. I had an omlete with spinich, mushrooms, home fries and two sausage links, a big meal, which could not finish, lovely, definitely have that again
Went in with a reservation for Sunday brunch- great location, great service. Food was very good. Would go back.
Service was attentive and caring
6 of us had Sunday morning brunch after church. Sat outside, atmosphere felt very European. Drinks were terrific (Painkiller, Bloody Mary, Fig Manhattan, Watermelon Margarita), food was plentiful and delicious (Lobster Avocado Toast, 75 Chestnut Omelet, Raspberry Mascarpone stuffed French Toast, Lobster Omelet, Hash service was very smooth. Definitely plan to go back, very enjoyable!
