The bartender (Moe I think) is fantastic
Great spot, really recommend the pumpkin ravioli. Very cozy in cold weather.
We dined at 75 Chestnut and absolutely loved our dining experience and meal.
75 Chestnut is my favorite restaurant because of the phenomenal service, inclusive atmosphere, perfect meals, and unique cocktails. This experience like all the others was exquisite.
We were seated at a high top in the bar area, I did not know all the tables in the main room were taken since I used Open Table. I will call the restaurant next time. The wine was not chilled and she put it in ice after it had already been poured which was not cold. I had to tell the waitress to put her mask over her mouth. The good was very good but expensive for what we got.
Excellent meal, perfect choices and fabulous service!!! Highly recommend.
We went to 75 Chestnut (original location) for their special 3-course Thanksgiving dinner. It was awesome. The appetizers were delicious (I had the salad and my husband chose the pumpkin bisque) and not too filling. We both opted for the traditional turkey dinner (including gravy, stuffing, yams, smashed potatoes, sauteed vegetables and cranberry sauce), though several other entree options were offered. I've never had better or more moist turkey - white and dark meat (even better, I didn't have to cook it). My husband was able to finish his, but I took home half of my dinner. A sampler of 4 mini desserts ended the meal (they graciously boxed mine to go). All in all, a lovely meal. One note: though I input 75 Chestnut Street Boston into our GPS, it led us to the same address in Charlestown (about 10-15 minutes away). The correct location is near Boston Commons/Beacon Hill.
We decided on trying 75 Chestnut based on their menu which we discovered was limited because of it being Thanksgiving Day. We would have preferred a greater choice of items to choose from. We all selected the filet mignon and it was the best piece of meat I have had in New England in 20 years....I'm not kidding! I quit eating red meat because of poor quality in this region. It was cooked perfectly! The other item that stood out was the pumpkin soup...delicious. The parking is however is ugly!!
Crammed 5 people into a table for 4 with one person on the end. Disappointing.
Enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Meal! Food was amazing, service was fantastic & the experience left us planning our next visit!!! Thanks for a beautiful time 💖
Great cozy restaurant with great food and service. Perfect for our family gathering - we had a booth that easily held 5 and we enjoyed conversation and warm restaurant on a cold night
&5 Chestnut remains one of the best restaurants in Boston. We have never been disappointed although we live out of the area. When we visit Boston, we visit 75 Chestnut.
Good service and food. Very accomodating for a birthday
Our server was excellent. It was a bit noisier than we prefer, but we had the round table for 6 and were some what protected from the noise. The consensus was that the distancing that was promised was not quite as accurate as we had expected. Overall the experience was excellent.
As a regular diner at 75 i was very pleased to find a new treatment of salmon. The reduced cider glaze both kept the fish moist and added a tint if autumn’s apples. The person with me wanted crab cakes and a side order of the aioli dip presented no difficulty for server or chef
We eacd enjoyed delicious food And just what we wanted
A fine experience
We had a simply wonderful time last night at 75Chestnut. Two of us had been there before, and my wife and I had not. Terrific atmosphere, nice, small, intimate size and setting. Everything the four of us ordered for perfectly prepared and tasted incredible. Also, the server was very good with dealing with my wife's food allergies and careful about checking with the chef. Great wine, too! A memorable experience, truly!
The food was delicious, as always. I took good friends there, that were visiting from CA. This is a great neighborhood gem, with charm, ambiance and hreat food.
Did not expect to find loud, energetic music in a place with a somewhat sophisticated “European” menu. Wait staff correct but somewhat in a hurry to turn tables..
Will look somewhere else the next time fir a romantic, casual dinner.
The food is outstanding! It was the best classic Boston Beacon Hill experience. We will be back for sure.
The food was very good. The service was excellent.
Great portions for the value and very delicious
A good neighborhood restaurant for a pleasant meal. Never spectacular but pleasant spot.
Love it great time
Great restaurant, food is excellent and the environment is great!
Reunion among friends
It was just way too crowded. We have six people and they crammed us into a tiny table. Charming location and good food but way too crowded and noisey unless you want to go to the bar and have that experience
Great spot for a birthday- food good, not great- our servers were excellent!
Food and drinks were excellent. Portions were large. Service was good. Location is great and space itself is cute. We’ll be back.
They have a great seasonal cocktail and food menu, and the ambiance is excellent! Service was also great.
Delicious food. Service could be more attentive but overall great ambiance.
The food was great. Enjoyed the cocktails as well. Service was efficient.
A great cozy spot, crowded but in a good way. The prix fixe menu was a great deal, with two glasses of wine included. Service was superb even though there were so many diners, which really says a lot. The fresh bread was the perfect way to start. Cocktails were OK, nothing special. We got the lamb and the pumpkin ravioli and would recommend both!
Adorable neighborhood location, delicious food with varied menu, great ambiance and great service
Great food and serves as we celebrated a birthday - plus a surprise birthday cake for the birthday brother too!
First person you see sets the tone for your dining experience. So we saw the hostess/manager I’m guessing. She was rude and snotty from the start. The server was basically just took our order and brought the food. Didn’t talk about the specials or try to get involved in the experience at all. Food was good but service was crap and I’m pretty sure it was a one and five for us with this spot
Great food & setting. Super friendly staff, very accommodating…worked with dietary restrictions, made suggestions. Great experience.
Menu was diverse in choices and price range for our family of 4. Ashley provided attentive and friendly service. It was a very convenient walk from Boston Common Garage to 75 Chestnut, then to Boston Opera House after dinner.
Not good. Not worth a drive into Boston, Overcooked breakfast, partially not cooked, partially cold - Just not good at all.
Breakfast is not hard to miss on. The first time I went here it was very quiet and the food was good - we had lunch. The second time, it was over crowded, food was pushed out and rushed, the seating was uncomfortable - we were put in hightop because the tables were all booked and it turns out there were 4 open 2 person tables the entire time we were at the restaurant. Nothing special. You are paying for the location near the park, that is all.
It was amazing
