Delightful weekend afternoon brunch at 75 Chestnut. Appreciate the steps taken to ensure physical distance between tables. My cousin and I enjoyed highly attentive service, delicious food and relaxed ambience in one of the loveliest parts of Beacon Hill. 75 Chestnut is a special place in the neighborhood. Well worth the trip.
Great staff and great food!
Wonderful experience at 75 Chestnut. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was incredibly inviting. Friendly and engaging staff who made some great recommendations!
Very nice place and the food was good. Reasonably priced.
We picked the restaurant off of the OpenTable app with no recommendations. We were celebrating my 50th birthday and are from out of state. Everything was wonderful. Our waitress was great, food, drinks, atmosphere, just everything. We loved our experience.
25th Anniversary. Definitely overpriced, but good vibes so we enjoyed spending our special occasion there.
Well run in COVD standards.
Excellent service. Waitress was knowledgeable and very helpful in selecting food.
Octoberfest The special pork dish was very good as was the Apple Strudel with the special cinnamon ice cream. I felt that covid protocols were very adequate.
Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly.
Great Brunch spot - off the main streets where the lines were long. Most people walked up and got a seat while we were there.
75 Chestnut is the quintessential beacon hill eatery. Never disappoints!
Always wonderful dining at 75 and the Fall drinks are ciderlicious!
See you again soon!
We sat outside and had a fabulous meal! Great service and food. We had a great time.
It was really cold inside
Absolutely loved this restaurant. Fresh quality of food, friendly staff, nice retro intro. Would definitely like to go back.
Anniversary dinner .. and it was fine. Rack of lamb appetizer and lobster bisque were absolutely delicious as starters. My steak tip entree wasnt great, tough meat, not juicy at all. My wife's cod filet entree was average, not delicious, she ate 1/2 of it. Ambience was OK, but it looks much nicer from outside. With all the choices around id probably go elsewhere next time.
Always a nice night. Outdoor setting makes you believe you’re in Europe. Best hostess in Boston - food and specials always make me happy - wait staff so very accommodating- and now with added perks - we had the 1/2 price desserts. My favorite place to kick back in Boston. .
Excellent brunch experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted and seated by by a friendly employee.
Great Menu, nice tasting food with good selection of cocktails and wines.
Servfer was very friendly and helpful, highly recommend this lovely place.
I went to dine for a first date. And everything was absolutely delightful. Great service and the food was delicious. I will definitely come back. My date and I had a wonderful time!
Thank you :)
Added outside to the reservation and was not notified that was first come first serve. Had to wait for a table! Difficult for an 80 mother.
Some bread for the table would have been nice, and my lobster and gnocchi was a little overcooked, but overall nice experience, great waitstaff and lovely makeshift patio.
Since they put in dividers for Covid, you can hear what everyone in your party says. Great food and service.
Really great job with the social distancing and protection between tables! Food was good, great bloody mary! The chicken and waffles was very good, but it seemed like the chicken was like popcorn chicken from the freezer rather than home battered chicken tenders. Otherwise brought me back to my Beacon Hill Days!
Excellent food. Hidden gem in the Beacon Hill. Highly recommended.
The food was subpar. The steak was underseasoned and chewy and tough. The fries and coconut shrimp were terrible! They were deep fried in oil that obviously needed to be changed. It tasted like bad fair food. How this place has so many good ratings is beyond me. Don't believe the other reviews, cheap food with a nice store front.
Its adorable inside & the way they've set up with COVID is perfect. I feel safe & protected but the ambiance is still nice. The food was good, but I wouldn't say fantastic? I ordered the filet & it was a little over done. My dining companions also enjoyed their food, but felt the same. For the price point, I would have expected a little better.
The welcome into the restaurant & the service from our waitress was phenomenal. I can imagine this was a pretty happening spot pre-COVID. Even so there were several tables there. I would go again to try something different on the menu & see if I was more impressed. I would definitely recommend checking it out & seeing what you think.
Such an amazing experience, as is usual in chestnut 75. But this time service went even the extra mile with all of the outdoor accommodations due to covid and being speedy and just all around amazing. Thanks to Genesis, our waitress, for making it one of the best brunch experiences I’ve ever had even compared to hyped up restaurants in New York, the food is just as good and her service made a first brunch during covid just amazing.
We had a great brunch experience at 75 Chestnut. Most importantly, the inside plastic walls made us feel very safe. The drinks were fantastic - highly recommend the special cocktails! My friend got the friend chicken waffle and it was amazing. I had the eggs Benedict and they were fine - nothing to write home about. I wish I had gone with a sweet brunch item since everyone was raving about the French toast. They didn’t rush us at all and made us feel very safe and well-taken care of.
My party of four had an excellent meal and experience at 75 Chestnut. We sat inside. They have separated the tables, installed clear partitions between tables, and reduced capacity. All servers wore masks. We arrived at a busy time, but were seated immediately and service was prompt and excellent. Our food came out quickly. Among our mains were the pork chop, the sliced beef salad, the swordfish special and the chicken with quinoa. All excellent and nicely presented. We haven’t been out to dine very often recently, but this meal reminded me how pleasant that experience can be.
It’s a wonderful neighborhood establishment. Very nice menu & wine list. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. Look forward to dining there again.
Food, drinks, and service were all wonderful.
Great atmosphere, great comfort food as always . Every time i visit Boston 75 is a must go
Dinner was incredible!! My love and I both had the filet and it was cooked perfectly! The drinks were just right and we finished with a melted chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream. Our waiter was very attentive and overall had a great experience while on vacation!
Great quiet spot. Food was good and service was great fr a Sunday morning brunch
The atmosphere, staff and food were all excellent.
Molten chocolate cake, cucumber martini, lemon chicken
Outstanding service, food, and atmosphere! A Boston gem!
Not one meal or drink disappointed us our night !
Ate outside a week in their new outdoor seating area. Seating is lovely on their beautiful street (extremely quiet street in Beacon Hill). Staff did a great job of making things feel normal. Cocktails and food were excellent. You could tell they were taking cleaning and safety precautions very seriously. Highly recommend!
They did a good job with social distancing but of course loses a bit on the ambience. Considering you are dining on the street it was quite.
Prices are a bit stiff. Food was delicious and service very friendly.
