We were only in Lawrence for one night, and we found 715 on Trip Advisor. Could not have chosen a better spot ... so lucky to grab reservations the day of our visit. Loved the atmosphere...the décor in the restaurant...and the service was impeccable! Then, on top of all of that...the food was absolutely fabulous! My husband had the filet, my son the meatballs, and I had the special, Handmade Cavatelli. Sure wish it was located in Little Rock ... we would go every week.
I haven’t been to 715 in a minute, but my meal and drinks last night were amazing. Their specials and pasta are always delicious
I wish I lived in Lawrence - I'd be here a lot. From the service to the decor to the food and drink, everything was top-notch at our visit. There are a lot of different choices, and we were expertly guided by our server, Brian. Go, enjoy, listen to their advice - excellent experience. I'm fortunate to dine out often around the country, and eat at a lot of fine restaurants. This is one of the top dining experiences I've had in a long time.
Birthday lunch with friends . Very accommodating ... made room for shopping bags and gifts. Gave us plenty of time ..yet attentive to our needs. 3 hrs flew by... we forgot to put more money in the parking meter! The salads are so delish.... goat cheese have perfect creamy tang. Hand made pasta and seafood was fantastic( we tried 3 dishes) . Coffee and runaround tart were perfect endings. Continues to excel at every level . Wish I could eat there every meal
Food was delicious and service was great.
All dishes were excellent: penne with salmon, roasted beet salad, fries, 3 cheese and bacon sandwich. Sadly, we did not leave room for dessert. The penne was garnished with shaved cheese. The salad had some unusual ingredients such as popped sorghum and raspberries. Their use of local ingredients is appreciated.
One of our favorite local restaurants in Lawrence!
My husband had Smoked Trout Eggs Benedict and loved it. I had the breakfast burrito which came with potatoes and it was... eh... pretty bland, certainly nothing special.
I had picked 715 because I was wanting Italian, but... maybe due to time of day, they didn't have any Italian offerings (maybe a pizza?). They only had brunch options. Plus, it was Mother's Day, so might have affected their menu.
The food was delicious and unexpected! They could easily accommodate my gluten intolerance.
Loved the food and the vibe! Had beet salad that surprised me with more beets and some greens - but shouldn’t it be that way as it’s beet salad - yum. The homemade pasta was excellent. Wish I lived in the area to try more on the menu.
Matt and team made this a very special birthday for my wife- excellent food, top notch service. It's like dropping in on a friend who offers to cook you dinner and opens the liquor cabinet to serve the good stuff.
How can you go wrong?
Celebrating participation in first bikini Competition.
Amazing food and delightful libations as always.
We wanted the perfect patio seating for a beautiful night and they were very accommodating for such a busy night. Our server was excellent and very informative. We both ordered the special. My trout was cooked to perfection and a very large file. My spouse had chicken that was very juicy and tender. We love 715!
This is one of our new favorite places! We have been twice in the last 30 days and had great experiences both times.
We have eaten here many, MANY times and it's always amazing! The food is really good, and we are very discerning diners! It takes a LOT to impress us and we always walk away talking about how great the food is. In Lawrence I cannot think of a place that I would recommend over 715 for a special occasion!
Monica served us - we were here last in November (6 months ago) and she waited on us then as well - she actually remembered our conversation and what we had on that last visit! Her attention to us was perfect, well placed checkins during dinner and a very friendly positive attitude all made our experience (again) delightful at 715!
Great food always.
Food good, too few vegetarian options. Difficult to have conversation in front section. Very crowded on Friday night and had to wait for table beyond time of reservation. However, they were very apologetic and gave us complimentary appetizer. Appreciated their concern.
I was disappointed. The food was ordinary and a bit bland. The cost, however, for mediocre food, was high. The drinks we goid, but that is true almost everywhere on Mass Street. We've had many better meals in Lawrence for half the cost. And, the wonderful Freestate offers better tasting, more innovative food that is way more reasonable. It wasn't awful, just not woth the money with so many better places available.
The food is superb and they have a great drink selection from cocktails to beer to wine. The daily specials, walleye and cauliflower soup were very well prepared. The rhubarb pie and chocolate pot-e-crem were delicious.
Great food and drinks. Loved our server as well!
Met a colleague for a business dinner. The ambiance was wonderful, and the food was good although a little pricier than expected.
Great food and service
Fun place for a birthday! A little noisy but fun atmosphere! Good and desserts were delicious! We would definitely go back!!
Gorgeous spring day, outside dining and delicious special - trout. Two birthday lunches.
Too noisy, could not hear or talk with partner. Service was slow and incomplete. Not a good dining experience.
great food, seamless service, and priced about where you'd expect them to be. Good wine list as well.
Great food and excellent service. Plan to go back next time I am in Lawrence.
I received some of the most flavorful food I've ever eaten in my life at 715. The venue is super cute for dates. My girlfriend really loved it and thought it was incredibly romantic.
Had Easter brunch with my two daughters. Very good / enjoyable meal.
715 is a great place to get together with family and friends. They always have new and delicious menu items!!
Always pleasant atmosphere and consistently great food!
So happy to see they have extended the happy your to 6pm. As usual our food was delicious and the service was great!
I’ve now been to 715 twice and both times were horrible experiences. I’m not one to complain or write reviews. The restaurant is visually modern/elegant with expensive dishes. The menu has limited options, but that’s not the basis for my complaint. My main issue: the service is horrific (I was a server for a few years). Both times, it took about 45 minutes for our food order to be taken. The restaurant is not that big, so one would think that this shouldn’t be an issue, especially on a Wednesday. The food probably took approximately an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive at the table. I ordered the garlic shrimp with spaghetti. There was maybe only 4 shrimp and the spaghetti was dry. Don’t order it. Once we were done, it took about 45 minutes to get our check - server was nowhere to be found. I finally asked another employee to bring the check. After tip, I paid $230 for an extremely disappointing experience. It was a mistake to return and give 715 another chance.
The food was great, but my colleague had to send back the chicken Milanese because there was plastic wrap in the breading. They 86’d it for the rest of the night and took care of us nicely.
I have visited 715 several times and am always impressed with the food and service, but this was my first time for brunch. A friend and I shared the french toast with apples and walnuts and pastrami hash. Both dishes were delicious! Service at 715 is always great - friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
GREAT meal this time. California halibut cookedto perfection and served hot (rather than tepid. Chocolate gelato excellent. Horribly noisy
