I always enjoy 715. The menu has several creative options, but not so creative you don't know what you are eating! The food is always enjoyable. Service was nice and food came out promptly.
Our recent KU grad daughter recommended 715 as a good option when we were in town before the KU basketball game. We could not have been more thrilled! Outstanding and unique craft cocktails, super happy hour, and divine food. Be sure to try the Roasted dates with Romesco sauce (starter). OMG! And the chili verde was perfect on such a cold night. The Campanella pasta with sausage and mascarpone cheese (are you kidding me?) was over the top. Finally, our server (wish I could recall her name) was delightful – inviting, attentive and helpful. I can’t wait to go again!
Great design and style. Good food. Locally sourced ingredients. Downtown vibe.
Appetizers, salads (order half sizes), and one of four entrees were very good. Unfortunately this time three of our four entrees were very subpar.
Excellent service. Wicked noisy. Pricey. Cramped. Beautiful decor.
One and done.
Great food, great service and an overall great experience.
Appreciated food and service. Service was prompt and friendly. Noise level was a bit high but manageable.
I've been coming to Lawrence for 30 years and this is, without question, one of the best restaurants in town.
Have been here several times for light bites and drinks, 1st time for dinner. Saturday night date night and we were seating right on reservation time. Excellent gin martini and "special" dink. Menu is spot on- just the right number of options and specials were great. Had the garlic shrimp and spaghetti based on the server's recommendation and it was great. Spouse had sea bass special- which was a novel preparation -and my forkful was excellent. Service was very good and we will be back to try other items on the menu and perhaps Sunday brunch.
Food and drinks were great, but service was slow. Would still recommend overall.
