Our dinner was set to host customers and talk through their business requirements. The entire staff was professional and very helpful. Food was delicious, timed perfectly and good portions. We will be back.
Food and service was outstanding! The calamari was super awesome! Great flavor. We will definitely be back.
The food was of high quality and the service was really awesome, too. We loved it so much we went back there the next day for lunch, too. Parking was much easier to find there than it was in central downtown.
My wife and I came here for Our Honeymoon dinner three years ago so I brought her back for Our three year Anniversary. She was very pleased. We plan on making back more in the future. Very Beautiful Atmosphere and the Staff are Excellent..
Service was attentive but not intrusive, food was excellent. Great experience
This was a let down celebration of my birthday. For a so called high end restaurant, there was no wine list but a few wines listed in Back of the menu. The choices were limited to a few wines by the glass, otherwise, you had to buy a bottle. I chose the smoked salmon as an appetizer and this came on pieces of very thick baguette- very filling. Anyway, my filet mignon was suppose to be medium but it was cooked quite rare and too much “rub” made it quite salty. The same with my husband’s NY strip. The staff seem to be inexperienced with the wines and in explaining the preparation of the meal. When my husband complained about his steak being rare, the waitress said that she could take it back and it would be cooked in the oven. I thought it was grilled?? I will not return and would not recommend this restaurant.
There were 6 of us and the food was excellent. Brandy, our server, did an excellent job. 700 Drayton is one of a few restaurants where the noise level is very low allowing us to be able to talk without yelling.
Great Easter brunch. All food was very tasty. Quiet and easy to have a conversation
Service was outstanding. Food was delicious. I’m not sure there’s much else to say. For the ambience and the experience it is worth your time to reserve a table. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent! Great food! No complaints- lovely evening out at a beautiful place
We enjoyed our experience at 700 Drayton. I wanted to play a little trick on one of my friends who dined with me that day and enlisted the help of David, our waiter. He was so kind and the trick came off without a hitch. Lots of fun for everyone. We also asked David about his homeland and he gave us a nice description of Peru. where he was born. All in all the experience was great. We will be back! The food was wonderful! Cooked to perfection!
We had a fantastic meal the New York strip was cooked to perfection. The Corvino panroasted and grilled was amazing. Our server, Grenna, a student from Serbia was excellent. She made our evening delightful, unobtrusive but attentive, and was knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. Our only regret is that we didn’t have another night to come and dine at this restaurant.
Great food - bad service
This was my date night and my first visit to Drayton at the Mansion. We had an excellent time. The reservation process was easy. My date and I arrived and was greeted by a the friendly staff. For appetizers we had the Crab Cakes and Smoked Salmon Both of which were perfectly done. We tried the Stuffed Flounder with Crab Meat in a curry sauce for the main course; that too was delicious. We ended the dinner with some iced cream( one of their speciality). Overall it was a great experience and a delicious meal.

We had a wonder experienced. The food, ambience and service was all terrific. I'd highly recommend this to anyone living or visiting Savannah
Great food and service!
Great building . Server was friendly and helpful. Wine list was good. One disappointment was the scallops I ordered were undercooked. Not good. My wife's dinner was perfect. Other than that, great restaurant.
My husband and I ordered omelettes. Not the best I’ve ever had, by far. The breakfast potatoes were greasy and had a funny flavor. Overall really disappointed in the food and service. The decor and building are beautiful so it was a real let down.
Wonderful Brunch after St. Patrick's Day Mass. Beautiful home and views of Forsythe park were so relaxing.
Very nice setting with tall windows and great views of the park.
The food however was fair at best.
The “fresh “ grouper was chewy and obviously frozen. The asparagus were undercooked. My wife’s filet mignon ordered medium was served rare and cold and had to be sent back with no apologies.
Mostly disappointing. Overrated restaurant.
We will not return.
Excellent food and service. Great location. Our table looked out on the park.
Great food, great waitress, and the place is beautiful!
Our server who was from Serbia did an amazing job and made the night very special. He was very attentive, friendly, and was wonderful at making suggestions on the menu.
ent for dinner on March 15th to celebrate our anniversary. The place is beautiful. Our server was very attentive. We never had to wait as the manager was on hand every step of the way if needed. This was much appreciated. I had the filet with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had. It was like eating silk. My husband had the red snapper with asparagus and he loved both. I ended with the seasonal sorbet which for that day was mimosa flavor. Delicious! Very pricey but we were expecting it. Overall I recommend and would go back.
Excellent food. Excellent service.
While visiting Savannah. Good food, beautiful facility. Service was knowledgeable and helpful but to much time between courses
We arrived late for my late birthday dinner and we’re basically the open people in the place...our waitress was sweet and accommodating despite probably wanting to close for the night which we appreciated. It smells amazing, looks amazing and the food was the same!
Very standard hotel breakfast buffet with standard hotel prices.
I remembered this restaurant from my last visit to Savannah, which was a decade ago. It didn’t disappoint. Decor, music, food and service were still great.
Ordered the crispy calamari (menu description sounded delicious). The first few pieces on top were good, but as you dig down it is a greasy, soggy mess.
Ordered mussels for entree (again, menu described white wine garlic shallot sauce). There was no sauce with the shallots, basically just steamed mussels. When I complained to the waiter he took the mussels back to the kitchen for about 10 minutes or so and when he returned them I could tell that it was the same recooked with very little sauce. I ended up with rubbery, fishy smelling mussels.
Wine service - they pour wine from the bottle at the table. When my food was taken away the waiter asked if I would like more wine while I waited for my mussels. I had about a quarter of the glass remaining and he topped it off. I thought it was complimentary as I had to wait so long for my dinner. My mistake, I was charged for 2 glasses of wine @ $15.00 per glass!
Lovely setting, and the food and service were wonderful!
Great suggestion by Open Table. We had an amazing brunch. The service was wonderful. And the food was incredibly delish!!
Perhaps during our visit, we caught the server and kitchen on a bad day. The Shellfish Chowder was terribly salty and the Smoked Salmon Crostini was not served as described on the menu. The Grilled Pear Salad was awesome and a unique treat. The portion sizes are quite generous and the atmosphere is beautifully historic. There is certainly a need for great improvement with the service. The manager did compensate the entire check and presented us with two complimentary glasses of champagne. I will give 700 Drayton a second chance while visiting Savannah next time.
Ordered poached eggs. They were over cooked and tasted like vinegar.
Best seafood chowder I've ever had. Attentive service but a bit noisy.
It was a wonderful meal and relaxing experience. If you want a fast experience then go elsewhere. If you want to enjoy the food and atmosphere then this is a great restaurant.
We were visiting Savannah and were looking to experience a meal in one of the older mansions in the city. We chose 700 Drayton because of its location overlooking Forsyth Park, as well as its menu. There was enough variety on the menu so that everyone was able to find something to eat. The dishes we chose were simply prepared, and were absolutely delicious. The wait staff was great and the atmosphere was lovely. At the end of the meal we walked around the mansion and looked at the different art collections on the walls. I would definitely recommend 700 Drayton for a special dining experience.
Fabulous food, attentive & pleasant wait staff, lovely table for 8 in the front window. Perfect!!
We went to 700 Drayton for their Valentines Day special. From the Valet Parking to the greeting at the door with a couple flutes of Champagne, we knew it was going to be a good evening. It really was! The service was prompt and attentive. The Chef even made a brief appearence to see if everyone was enjoying the food. Everything from appetizers to dessert was nothing less then superb. Beautiful presentation on both my steak and my wifes lamb dish added to the enjoyment. Every bite was perfectly cooked and delicious. The handmade Pistachio Cake Balls and Pistachio Gelato were positively amazing. We will be back again and again. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a great dining experience at 700 Drayton.
It was just a mediocre experience. We had to choose from a menu that was already prepared for Valentine’s Day. We would’ve liked to have chosen from the regular menu. The food was a bit salty but the service was nice.
