Very nice restaurant
Terrible service. Pretty good food. Beautiful building.
It's a beautiful place that can make a local feel like they're splurging on vacation and the food is consistently good - but the service in the restaurant and upstairs bar is very inconsistent. This time, we went for brunch. We were hungry and thirsty, and it took a while to get water... Then it took long enough to get our food order in that we debated leaving but we'd already put in our drink order... When the food came, my avacado toast was a little dry at first, so I was thinking to ask for olive oil or something but the opportunity never came... I had to dig in and had eaten it all before our waiter came back to clear our plates. Our waiter was non-existent - to the point that I was assuming he'd gone home and the waiter I saw at the next table had taken over. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it's a slow time and they are spread thin?? I want to love it but I have had great service and awful service here before - it's just not consistent.
The restaurant was closed for reservations- but I was assured the FULL MENU would be available in the lounge- IT WAS NOT
Great experience. Food was good but not great. Great atmosphere but service was touch and go
Had breakfast and the egg sandwich was very tasty. Great value for the freshness and quality of food.
The food was amazing! I highly recommend their grilled swordfish with spinach cakes. The mansion is simply breathtaking. The historic details of this mansion are incredible and are paired with more contemporary pieces of artwork throughout.
The food was very good once I got what I ordered. The staff seemed scared of my children. I have well traveled and polite kids that are accustomed to eating at nicer restaurants. Every time one of them asked a question, our wait staff had a deer in headlights look. I was served the wrong entree and had to wait around 8 minutes to get anyone to come back to the table. I would go back because it was beautiful with great food and hopefully I would receive a different wait staff.
Exceptional food but the service left a lot to be desired, especially considering the price. We considered leaving several times due to the poor service. We think it may have been our server's first night or first week, but the situation could have been handled more professionally with an explanation or apology from the manager or really any of the staff
We arrived at 7 for our reservation. Place is beautiful. It was not busy as it was the 4th of July. We didn’t get our food until 8pm. App came with food. Defeated the whole purpose of the app. Everything took forever.
1st time at the restaurant and found it to be perfect in every way. Drinks, food, presentation and amount of food, waitstaff, easy parking all were fantastic.
We went miles out of our travel route to eat at 700 Drayton and to stay at the attached amazing hotel. The food, staff, ambiance and bar are all spectacular. We plan to stop again on our way home!!!!
Food and service was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Savannah.
One of the best tasting meals I have ever had. We went on a Wednesday so it was slow and quiet. The staff gave us a tour of the place and the manager even gave us a complimentary desert for our anniversary. We had a wonderful evening and a delicious meal.
Loved the atmosphere. Plan on coming for dinner with my husband in the future.
Everything from the setting, to the service, to the food was amazing! Highly recommend trying the skillet bread. I had the sea bass and it was so well cooked; it practically melted in your mouth. Definitely a must try when in Savannah.
Amazing food, service and ambiance
Wonderful ambience delicious food, champagne was ice cold! We ordered fresh oysters and burrata to start and they were both fantastic definitely would have again. For dinner we had sea bass and the Australian lamb chop and they were both excellent. 100% would come back again!
The food was delicious! Very impressed with the portion size and cost ratio!
Best panini I’ve ever had! Great value and a great location!
Atmosphere was great. Server was great and helpful. Food was great minus one piece of meat was tough. Overall I'd recommend. I would like to believe that one piece was a fluke.
Rene was our server and she was fantastic. She gave honest and informed recommendations while not overstepping into straight telling us what to order. The cocktails were very good (although my mule was just a little sweet). The Scampi and Grilled Peach salad were both so good my wife and I thought about ordering a second plate on both. The Salmon and the Delmonico were what you would expect a fine dining main course to be, but the mashed potatoes and the crust on the fish were out of this world good. The pastry was last and it was exquisite. Full of flavor and the fruit complimented the pasty and vice versa. Overall, it was a great night out. The view of the park at sunset from the floor to ceiling windows was the perfect setting as well. I highly recommend this place.
Food was awesome the service was good but slow
Very good. I had the steak and my wife had the fish special. All turned out the way we would have hoped. We tried the Champagnesicle which was interesting. It was a very good Popsicle dipped in a glass of champagne. It was the most unique aspect of the menu and dining experience. We would go back.
Perfect ambiance and the food is great. Mark our server well paced and friendly. The Young lady at the front just couldn't have been nicer and more helpful in picking the right table for 50th anniversary dinner. Beef medallion and garlic shrimp great, scallops melt in your mouth! You willl not be disappointed.
It was our anniversary, and it was the perfect meal!
Great food and ambiance. Fun wait staff. Enjoyed the evening!
Beautiful location across from Forsyth Park in a renovated mansion. Sat in the sunroom. Service was very good. Excellent portions. Excellent brunch menu. Will go back again. A must stop if you’re in Savannah!
Such a cool atmosphere, great food
One of my most memorable dinning experiences. Everything was wonderful
We sat at a table by the window facing the grand bohemian gallery - the curtains were dirty with food stains so we moved them away from the table, the amount of dust that came from the curtain was unbearable and we had to move tables. We attempted to let the dust settle, but there was so much it aggregated our sinuses. The white tile in one of the dining areas was filthy.
We moved tables - we asked to go outside but we were told they weren’t having service outside at the time. Our serve did move our table to a table inside. When we received our food - medium hamburger was cooked well. Breakfast potatoes were actually French fries and there was a hair in the crab cake sandwich.
Service was awful - once the serve brought our food we did not see her again and had to ask for her multiple times to fill our water.
Delish Calamari and Wagu carpaccio appetizers. My main course was the fish of the day special, Triple Tail , which is a fantastic fish normally. However, it was over cooked. The lamb was good and well prepared. The chicken on a salad dish was over cooked. The pecan pie desert with ice cream was fabulous. I would go there again.
Service was perfect
One word: EXQUISITE. Sea bass - a marvel of flavors. Flavors beautifully crafted, LOVED IT! Best meal over 3 days in Savannah.
The service was excellent first of all. The appetizers and entre's arrived as should be expected. Our waiter was very professional and courteous. The food tasted fine but not what I would consider outstanding for the cost. My biggest issue however would be the serving size. I ordered the land and sea dinner which consisted of a crab cake(1 ball, bite size, looked more like a small hush puppy), 3 or 4 medium size shrimp and 2 small beef medallions(about 4 bites worth of food), 1 tablespoon of mashed potatoes and 3 asparagus spears. Not enough for my appetite for sure but it may work for some. Was it worth $36? Not in my opinion but you should decide. Should not use this place if you are looking for a romantic evening or if you have a moderate or large appetite. Just one guy's opinion.
Everything was great. The food, service and art. I appreciated the quietness and the prices.
Most disappointing food experience we’ve had in Savannah. We have eaten at their restaurant in Orlando many times so we thought this would be a no brainer. The lobster bisque was very good but most of the other elements of the night were not.
The table we were seated at wasn’t fully clean. The service was somewhat slow and they were not very busy. Finally, the worst thing was the food. We ordered lamb chops and they were inedible. My husband ordered medium rare and it was practically raw. I ordered medium and it wasn’t far from raw. The risotto was awful, it was also uncooked. Both my husband and I could barely finish our meals and we felt sick.
We felt even more sick after receiving the bill which we waited for over 20 mins to receive, after telling the waiter we had to get to a tour. We paid a hefty price for the worst meal that we have had in years. For all the restaurants in town, don’t choose here.
Jay was our server and was the ideal server for the night. Great welcome and suggestions and attentive but not overly so. Great calamri
