Loved everything but the attitude that prevented my son (gold medal winning concert pianist and broadway qualified songwriter and composer) from playing for the family in he bar
Very good food and nice ambiance.
The food took forever to be served and was cold when finally served. The taste of the food was not much better with eggs poached hard. At least it looks nice.
Breakfast was very disappointing for two of us... the third had chicken and waffles which they said was really good. Great place for dinner but not worth the price for breakfast
We were seated promptly after a mix up in where we wanted to be seated. If you want a nice view, ask for the enclosed porch-it is pretty but louder. Since we already had lunch on the porch that day, we wanted a quieter area so seated by a fireplace/library. Very calm and quiet. We enjoyed the oysters on the half shell, lentil soup was wonderful as was the crab cake and salads. We will definitely be back. Plus the cocktails were made to perfection
Wonderful meal and service, would highly recommend.
Fabulous as ALWAYS! Helped make a Birthday celebration very special!!
Very nice setting and a,Bianca. Great for conversation. We were in an upscale booth. Comfortable. The seafood omelette was delicious as was the fruit, Greek yoghurt with honey and granola plate. Waitress very nice but the meal took a long time to come. It was OK because we wanted to catch up but we were starving after 40 minutes. Worth it in the end. Would return. I think the delay may have been because we came early for brunch, at 10am. The maitre’d came around to make sure our meal was satisfactory.
This continues to be a gem in Savannah. Incredible food and choices. Fantastic wait staff and attention. Fine drinks and wine list. Whenever I am visiting, this remains at the top of my fav list for a special dinner!!!
The ambiance can’t be beat anywhere! What an amazing destination with a combination of history and art! Our server, Adriana, was the best ever and the food was superb. Will return on the next Savannah visit.
700 Drayton is always on our itinerary for our visiting friends and family. Never have been disappointed with the food, service or ambience.
Amazing meal. Restaurant week in Savannah was going on and my wife and I both had the local trout over sweet potatoes. Delicious. Service was outstanding as well.
Great food at this restaurant and wonderful service. Beautiful place for celebrating special occasions.
Wow...what a wonderful experience. Great vibe and venue. Great food. Super service. Highly-recommended!
We had the restaurant week specials. The portions were smaller, but perfect for my appetite. The trout was prepared perfectly, the sweet potatoes excellent
We took friends for Restaurant Week. Everyone enjoyed their choice of entrée. The waiter was very responsive and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Excellent location and menu choices for Sunday Brunch. Waited an hour for our food due to problems in the kitchen, our waitress was very apologetic. Overall service could have been improved with more attentiveness to drink refills. Food was delicious when it arrived and the ambiance was fabulous.
Wonderful food! Gorgeous view of Forsyth Park. Very comfortable way to get out of the heat but still see the outside.
Not sure if our waiter was new, but it was very slow that day, and we waited over an hour for lunch, never had refills, and he forgot a few things we asked for.
We hated complaining because the food was so good and the ambiance was outstanding, but the manager was very nice and apologized.
I would go back again and would recommend it.
Disappointed at the ambience of the restaurant. Were seated in an area that looked like an enclosed porch with tile floor. Out of character with the remainder of the dining room and hotel.
Great food and good atmosphere. The service was spot on and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend as great place for the special dinner.
Food was amazing. Portions were perfect. Enjoyed my pancakes and bacon. Service was on point
Went there for a date during our visit to Savannah. They had a nice wine selection, which was a draw for us. We ordered the mussels appetizer, Caesar salads, and two steak entrees, a filet and a NY strip. Mussels were delicious. Salads looked like someone threw on the dressing haphazardly, with clumps of dressing everywhere. Both steaks were cooked improperly. We asked for them to cooked to medium - the filet was more than fully cooked and the NY strip was rare. Rare to see what looks like a nice restaurant butcher a meal as badly. We complained about it, but were offered only a dessert as recompense. They didn’t even take the steak off our bill.
Wonderful food and incredible service. Riley, our wait staff, was wonderful. Thanks, Riley!!
Service was extremely slow because of apparent extreme understaffing on a relatively busy Monday night at the hotel. Our waiter seemed to be responsible for everything and just about every table. Food was good but the slow service made for an underwhelming experience sad to say.
Great waiter, food, and martini menu. We had to ask for an inside booth after being offered the porch.
I had an extremely busy weekend at a convention and wanted to steal away one evening with my family and close friends in a quiet spot with delicious food, great cuisine, and wonderful wine.
Oh my, with quiet little rooms each with their own ambiance. It was perfect from beginning to end!
The flies in the window of the sun porch ruined my appetite but I was still disappointed that the buffet was without grits and eggs on my second helping.
It made a perfect romantic date even more better
Reservations were at 8:00 and we did not finish our meal until 10:15. Took a long time to get food. Well done steak was ordered and was sent back to be cooked more. It came back burnt and charred. Other Steaks were
Server had a smart “a” attitude.
Just the perfect dinner- food was outstanding. Waiter was good- but did not come back to serve wine. Ambience is glamorous.
Wonderful experience. The restaurant is located in a fabulous mansion. Exquisite decor in beautiful park setting. One of the best ribeye steaks I have ever had. My wife had the scallops and shrimp and devoured with them. Can’t wait to go back.
Lunch was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and service was great. Burrata and heirloom tomatoes for an appetizer followed by a BLT with Sauvignon Blanc. Perfect lunch on a hot day.
Wonderful historic dining experience. Fabulous food, varied menu, attentive staff. Can't recommend highly enough!
Went and had a Fathers Day Dinner. They offered a wonderful Surf and Turf special but decided on the 16 Oz Porterhouse. The cut was very nice, flavor excellent and mashed potatoes served with very nice. The service was wonderful. Wine selection very good to go along side the meal. Deserts you cannot go wrong with selections from local - Leopold and Lulu's.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was a great dinning experience, quite and a great view of the park. The food was excellent.
This was our second time celebrating Father's Day at 700 Drayton.while I love the ambience of the restaurant, the service is always poor. We have had this experience on a previous occasion at dinner also. It is really a shame, because it is a beautiful place but it is our last visit.
