Great experience and menu options. Gluten free choices aren’t marked on the menu but servers are very knowledgeable on what has gluten and if items can be modified.
Great location, service, and excellent food. Went with my family - place overlooks Forsythe Park in a beautiful old building, decorated in a nice art deco style. Tables are spread out well, so you feel like you're in an area to yourself. Food options were great as well - slightly modified versions of southern classic dishes, fried chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy had slight twist to the flavor and were great. We walked around the second floor which has nice long art deco bar. The light fixtures spread out around the various spaces are interesting and great as well. Service was exceptional. Overall, could not more highly recommend 700 Drayton.
Delicious for brunch, and they serve Illy coffee which is my favorite!
Service was attentive and food arrived hot and in a timely manner. Our server was very nice and made my mom feel special on her birthday! The Saturday $30 3 course special prime rib was and awesome deal. My mom said it was delicious and cooked perfectly.
We enjoyed a late lunch, sat on the veranda area... It was truly the Savannah feeling, but decor was even more fantastic.. Can't wait tor return.. Service and food A+
Disappointing hotel restaurant in a difficult space. Food was very disappointing. Lacking in flavour and luke warm. Prices unjustifiably high, and you need to look at the check carefully.
Food quality was okay, nothing impressive. Three of the four of us ordered eggs, and they were all overcooked. Food was not flavorful. Restaurant was mostly empty, and service was poor. As much as we love the ambience, we are not likely to return.
Great entree, great service, desserts were lacking.
Birthday celebration. Our wait staff was most accommodating and pleasant. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
Great ambiance. Wonderful service, delicious entrees.
Lovely locale... nothing else really special about it. Was expecting much much more all around. Food was forgettable.
Beautiful setting and delicious food.
Great ambiance, friendly, attentive and great service.
A beautiful venue, with great food. We especially enjoyed being able to walk around the hotel and enjoy the exhibits and art after dinner.
Great place to eat in historic Savannah. The Mansion is actually a tour bus stop and it was impressive. Beautiful artwork and chandeliers in the dining areas, great brunch menu, craft cocktails and a front of the house staff that is well trained and works together. With a cooking school on premise, foodies can rest assured they won’t be disappointed. We weren’t!
I ordered the special, the main plate, was not very good, which was dissapointing, the meat was completely raw.
Great dinner! Loved the service, atmosphere, and food.
A delightful dining experience all the way around. Standouts were the Hall Oysters and the Sea Bass.
Sadly, you can not have dinner in any of the rooms shown on the site -- only one dining area and the breakfast porch are open. The others are held for special events only. Having said that, the porch was pleasant for breakfast and the breakfast was good. The dinner however, disappointed. Despite me specifically asking if the chicken would be dry (as happens) and assured it would not be, it was. The food generally at dinner for me and my friends too was not as hoped.
I enjoyed the ambiance and the food. I had baked oysters, which were superb. Didn't like the crab/lobster cake at all--only tasted like fish. The apple strudel for dessert was out of this world. Definitely would go again.
Our server was amazing and our food was beyond expectations. The dining room was comfortable and beautiful. Very good experience!
Loved everything but the attitude that prevented my son (gold medal winning concert pianist and broadway qualified songwriter and composer) from playing for the family in he bar
Very good food and nice ambiance.
The food took forever to be served and was cold when finally served. The taste of the food was not much better with eggs poached hard. At least it looks nice.
Breakfast was very disappointing for two of us... the third had chicken and waffles which they said was really good. Great place for dinner but not worth the price for breakfast
We were seated promptly after a mix up in where we wanted to be seated. If you want a nice view, ask for the enclosed porch-it is pretty but louder. Since we already had lunch on the porch that day, we wanted a quieter area so seated by a fireplace/library. Very calm and quiet. We enjoyed the oysters on the half shell, lentil soup was wonderful as was the crab cake and salads. We will definitely be back. Plus the cocktails were made to perfection
Wonderful meal and service, would highly recommend.
Fabulous as ALWAYS! Helped make a Birthday celebration very special!!
Very nice setting and a,Bianca. Great for conversation. We were in an upscale booth. Comfortable. The seafood omelette was delicious as was the fruit, Greek yoghurt with honey and granola plate. Waitress very nice but the meal took a long time to come. It was OK because we wanted to catch up but we were starving after 40 minutes. Worth it in the end. Would return. I think the delay may have been because we came early for brunch, at 10am. The maitre’d came around to make sure our meal was satisfactory.
This continues to be a gem in Savannah. Incredible food and choices. Fantastic wait staff and attention. Fine drinks and wine list. Whenever I am visiting, this remains at the top of my fav list for a special dinner!!!
The ambiance can’t be beat anywhere! What an amazing destination with a combination of history and art! Our server, Adriana, was the best ever and the food was superb. Will return on the next Savannah visit.
700 Drayton is always on our itinerary for our visiting friends and family. Never have been disappointed with the food, service or ambience.
Amazing meal. Restaurant week in Savannah was going on and my wife and I both had the local trout over sweet potatoes. Delicious. Service was outstanding as well.
Great food at this restaurant and wonderful service. Beautiful place for celebrating special occasions.
Wow...what a wonderful experience. Great vibe and venue. Great food. Super service. Highly-recommended!
We had the restaurant week specials. The portions were smaller, but perfect for my appetite. The trout was prepared perfectly, the sweet potatoes excellent
We took friends for Restaurant Week. Everyone enjoyed their choice of entrée. The waiter was very responsive and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Excellent location and menu choices for Sunday Brunch. Waited an hour for our food due to problems in the kitchen, our waitress was very apologetic. Overall service could have been improved with more attentiveness to drink refills. Food was delicious when it arrived and the ambiance was fabulous.
