7 West Bistro Grille
We dined at 7 West Bistro on Easter Sunday 2019. This was my first visit there and I was not disappointed. We were friendly greeted and shown to our table. The "hot rolls" were excellent as the butter melted inside. The rolls are SO good they should be available even past 3pm. We ordered Appetizers and then our Entrees. Kayla, was very friendly and helpful as we strolled thru the menu items. Everything came expediently and just as we ordered. We will not hesitate to return there again. There are many different items to choose from. Thanks 7 West Bistro!
Food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.
Excellent service & excellent restaurant!! Thank you for making my fiancee birthday dinner a great experience.
Plenty of choices at this restaurant. Whatever you might be in the mood to have, chances you find it on the menu. My favorites include a unique take on Surf and Turf, think Mediterranean Sea meets the Chesapeake Bay (lamp chop and a crab cake) and fish tacos.
My 8-year-old granddaughter and I went for an early evening dinner - a perfect place. I love the diversity of the customers. Food is reasonable and good. The 8 year-old loved everything -- and wants to know when we can go back.
The place was great and so was the service. My complaints are about the quality of the food we ordered. We all had dishes with chicken and all of the chicken was over cooked. Maybe the seafood dishes would better.
I choose 7 West for my birthday lunch with my girls. What an excellent choice. From the time we walked in until we left, everything was perfect. My meal was great, the place is lovely and our waiter was marvelous. We will definitely be going again and I will be telling my family and friends all about it.
Food was great. Atmosphere was wonderful. However, I think our server had more tables than she could handle. She bought us our food and that was it. She was not attentive at all. We saw her but she had with our tables that were coming in and we needed more water. We had to get that from the busboy, whom was trying to rush us out the restaurant by asking us did we need containers & we weren't finished eating. My friend was merely asking him for more tea because our server never came back to check on us. She later came back after our food was all packed up and asked us were we getting dessert. Which then we looked at her and asked what are the desserts? She started trying to explain & then bought out a dessert tray. We ordered and that took another 20 minutes or so to bring out 2 slices of cake. So, I would say that the restaurant was really classy, food was great, but the service was poor. I picked the restaurant based on the reviews & pictures I saw online. I was considering of having my 15th wedding anniversary here in 2 years but I don't know now.
Food was great; wait staff excellent
We love 7 West, but our experience this time was sub par. First, our entree came out within a minute or two of receiving our appetizer. Needless to say, we were not ready for them. We ask to see the dessert menu. Our waiter took so long to return, we almost changed our mind. Upon receiving our dessert, we asked for another spoon so we could share. Well, it was never brought to us! I couldn't even get a refill on my water. We've never had this to happen before. It was on a Tuesday night, so the place was not crowded. I can't explain it, but it was not what we are accustomed too.
Waiter was nice. Music was WAY TOO loud especially at 12:00 noon.
Girls night out
The cream of crab soup was the best I ever had and our meal was fast and delicious. Also, very good pineapple upside down martini. Only downside was that the bar area was kind of loud and even though we were sitting away from it; not much I am sure they could do about that and I guess would vary per night.
We attended for brunch with another couple. We had heard great things about their brunch and mimosas. As soon as we stepped inside, the restaurant smelled like sewage. I had read a review on TripAdvisor that the hallway leading to the bathrooms had a horrific smell, but overlooked the review. The smell has clearly leaked out into the entire restaurant. We were seated (no one mentioned the smell) and lost our appetite right away. We were going to try and stay but the smell got stronger as we sat, so we decided to leave. Hopefully the issue can be fixed because I we were excited to try out the restaurant.
First time goin , love the atmosphere, the waitress was awesome, the crab cake was not the that great, but the spinach pie was good!
One of my favorite restaurants. Very pleasant staff and delicious food.
Decent place to grab some brews with friends and some bar food... Not a good place for date night with the significant other. Food was blah (salmon had funny taste, broccoli was rock hard). Hostess was our waitress as well... Very friendly, but she was doing two jobs... Waitress and front host.
Excellent and friendly customer service. Wonderful tasting food.
The food was good I order the rack of lamb and crab cakes and bbq ribs but the service was poor
Crabcake sandwich minus the bread with a salad is my go to.
food was very good and the atmosphere was very nice.
MILICA is AWESOME & was very attentive, professionally & friendly. Everytime I frequent the restaurant, I am very impressed.
Service was good, food was fairly good, definitely good enough to go back. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but we (a party of 4) were seated very close to several tables set up for a large party of maybe 20. They arrived partly through our meal and started to get very loud. Other than the noise, a good dining experience.
Waiter disappeared several times and we had to get the valet person to find him
The food was warm, not hot
Seafood pasta was missing jumbo lump crab meat, only had shrimp
Waited 15 mins for check, almost missed the beginning of my movie
Went to dinner on a Saturday night. We had a reservation. The restaurant was hosting about 4 large birthday parties, but was still able to take very good care of us. Our waiter was very attentive, knew the menu well and did a great job. The portions are large and the ingredients seemed of good quality and fresh.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. The restaurant was spacious. Looked like a good place for big parties.
I had eaten lunch at the restaurant which was good so I thought I would try it for dinner. Beg mistake. The delicious ht rolls at lunch had been replaced with stale slices of rye bread. The crab cake while big was so over mayonnaised that it was inedible. Wine list needs total overhaul.
Legit best food, this food has beaten 5 star restaurants in portions and quality. Service was f***ing outstanding
The entire experience was great. Dining can be challenging for me because I have many allergies but they were very accommodating. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. This will be my new favorite place for Mediterranean food in the area!
Very nice - went for a casual meeting with friends during happy hour. Great drinks and the food was delicious. Very reasonably priced.
Very dry food, but such nice waiters
Food and service is always awesome
Lamb chops were great!
Spinach salad was great!
Old bay wings were great!
Very noisy food wasn’t good
It was delicious!! Great lamb, mussels, tuna tartare and crab crakes. Great birthday day! Definitely a better place for groups/occasions. There were two different parties that were pretty loud but not a distraction.
Food was great, wine list a bit small and the Trivia Night noise level along with 2-3 large parties was deafening!
Don’t go after 7:30 on a Monday evening unless you enjoy trivia with your dinner whilst trying to have a conversation
Largely unremarkable food. Nothing was bad but nothing was delicious either.
My wife and I had a great meal and we enjoyed excellent service. My only issue was that the restaurant was too cold. Nonetheless, we are looking forward to a return visit.
Odd layout, a former nightclub or disco. Can be tricky getting to you table especially if you have low vision. Food was surprisingly good and the salad entree was generous. Okay for a quick meal or a first date because you can actually hear each other talk. Many large groups seated too.
My wife and I tried this place on Friday at 6:00 PM. VERY BUSY AND NOISY. DUH! We should know better. Other than that we had Christopher as our waiter. He was EXCELLENT throughout the meal. I had a Gyro sandwich (very substantial), a "side" Greek salad (VERY substantial - I ended up taking half of it home), a lemonade and a glass of their house Merlot. My wife had Chicken Souvlakia with broccoli and roasted potatoes. The food was very good and the portions were substantial, bordering on huge. The total was $35.80 before tip which is amazing nowadays. Of course, being there during "Happy Hour" (4-7) helped reduce the cost, but even so, it was extremely reasonable. We can certainly see why the place was so popular.
