We met out of town friends for dinner. The ambiance, food, and service were all outstanding! The restaurant was busy, but the noise level was just about right; low enough for great conversation without straining to hear each other (a rarity these days), but enough noise to know you are not dining alone. Both couples shared a super-sized bone-in ribeye, with the delicious side of sautéed mushrooms & onions and a Caesar salad for each. Both steaks were cooked to perfection! Overall, dining here was definitely worth the 40 minute drive, & it’s a DEFINITE MUST when you are near Long Beach. Great for any celebratory occasion or business lunch or dinner.

We had reservations for a Sunday evening, 5pm, arrived at 4:50, got a drink @ the bar, lots of open tables. They called our name @ 5:10, then we waited by the front desk for 10 minutes to be seated, very frustrating. Meal was excellent, fantastic, both of us had the beef filet. We used valet parking. 2 people in front of us to get our car, took 10 minutes for our car, very frustrating.

We will try it again, the slow service was frustrating, but overall it was a good meal. Expensive.

This was my second visit to 555 and it was even better than the first. We had a beautiful table in the main dining area. The gentleman playing the piano was outstanding and played the best show tunes throughout the entire evening. The service was incredible. Our server offered us suggestions on what to order that would meet our specific tastes. We loved that we could bring in our own bottle of special wine - however the wine list available at 555 is incredible - the corkage fee was reasonable!

Zoey was an excellent and well informed server. She kept things moving but we never felt rushed- even with a teen and child!
Definitely will be back again- best steaks we’ve found! Thank you 555 for excellent service and food!

My wife and I came to make up for Valentine’s Day. The table they sat us at butted up against a countertop and felt really cramped. We asked to move after waiting about 15 minutes for our waiter to come over. The staff seemed a little overrun and not very attentive.

The food was delicious, though. I got the Bone-In Filet Mignon Oscar style, and my wife got a smaller filet. No complaints food-wise, but the service issues may result in us going elsewhere.

Was my wife’s and I first time dining there we were referred by some coworkers and our experience was great the food was outstanding and the atmosphere was a bit romantic! Love everything about it we would definitely dine again!

A really nice lunch!
Our group ordered from different parts of the menu.

The Chilean Sea Bass was moist, while firm. The filet was a perfect medium rare.
The Ahi could not have been any better.

For dessert, we shared a really nice lemon tart.

Okay, you get the idea. It was a perfect lunch. We all skipped dinner!

Terrible! Used to be a great restaurant years ago. We were seated on a cold patio with a heating lamp instead of inside the restaurant (maybe because we made our reservation through Open Table?) The service was very slow. Drinks, appetizer, and salad were good. However my Wagyu steak was a very tough piece of meat with gristle in it, instead of marbling. Not even as good as the prime steak my husband had. Not sure if they thought that I didn't know what Wagyu was, and they tried to give me a terrible steak for $74, or maybe they don't know what Wagyu should be! The manager took it off the bill, but it was a very disappointing experience overall.

I missed the opportunity to send back my steak when the server asked if it was to my liking... I had my mouth full and my friend answered positively as his steak was perfectly medium rare. The cut I ordered was smaller so it wasn't rare at all - I am sure they would have switched it out had I said something. Dogs loved the leftovers

We have had several anniversary meals at this restaurant. However, this one was a disappointment. We had made a reservation long in advance but they wanted to seat us on the cold veranda which we refused. My wife ordered her steak medium well and the server said they usually "butterfly" those; she asked that hers not be butterflied and he said that would not be a problem. But they served it butterflied anyway. And the atmosphere was so different from previous visits. Instead of quiet meal, we felt like we were at a sports bar with all the loud conversations.

Disappointed from hostess stand to trying to pay for this bad meal and experience. Frustrating experience and will never recommend. Actually during our recent convention was asked where we had eaten and warned folks from this location. As we visit Long Beach at least once a year, we were just trying out some new places. Pricing is what you would expect from a good meal and this is not that. Calamari was good and that is where it ends. Good luck.

Delicious food worth EVERY penny! My husband and I loved the atmosphere and our waitress was very knowledgeable. We'll definitely return for dinner and to sit at the "Cheers" bar.

This is my go to steak house in Long Beach. Top quality prime meats, great service, tableside Caesar salad, good wine list including wines by the glass. I usually rate 555 East as a '5'. Friday night was a little disappointing in that the food temps were off a little like they had been sitting on the pickup counter a little long. The baked potato was humongous but not evenly baked. Still, this was probably an anomaly. I will go back. Can't be beat for overall experience.

We enjoyed our dinner, the table next to us was a little loud and we could hear their whole conversation, but that was at no fault of the restaurant. Our waitress heard Moscow Mule instead of Moscato, but again that was not her fault but my own. We will go back again if we travel back to Long Beach.
