555 to my taste has the best filet minion I have tried, I recommend this place to anyone looking for great food.
My parents really enjoyed their first date in almost 10 years. Great food and great service. Thank you again!! They will definitely be back 🤗
The food was excellent. I ordered the rib eye and the steaks were cooked to perfection. A little pricey but worth it. Service was great and they let us leave our car in the Valet parking while we went to watch a show in the nearby Terrace Theater.
Service was great, food was delicious. Especially the bread!
Great Steaks! Everyone enjoyed their steaks, soup and dessert. Expensive but worth it.
Best Sea Bass I have had in years. Used to their steaks. This was a menu special. Very good!
Normally our visits are perfect but not this time. My dinner order was wrong and they made 3 mistakes in the bill (their favor, not mine), the salad was limp and the steak was approx. 2 oz. cooked! (Filet med. rare). It was my birthday celebration and a huge disappointment in one of our favorite restaurants. Service was great as usual.
We hit this spot each year Saturday night after LBGP (Long Beach Grand Prix) and always have a good time. Place is hopping. If you are not into having fun, socializing, or are in a hurry pass this place. They are not slow, but they are busy, and people like eating and hanging out, so even though you may have reservations, give yourself some breathing room, grab a drink or two at the bar and chill. The service and food is worth it. I had the baseball cut top sirloin, it was wonderful and their wine list is good.
Was seated right away. Waitress was there within minutes. Never had to ask for refill if drinks. Food was great. Noise level was high, but the place was packed. Even though it was very busy, our service was excellent. Zoe was our server.
It was excellent all around. Steak and lobster options were spectacular!
This restaurant would typically get 5 stars across the board from me. I love their menu and the staff is top notch. We happened to dine on Friday night after the Long Beach Grand Prix was wrapping up for the day. We were seated near a group of boisterous men. Noise, I can tolerate, however, the conversation at their table was so raunchy, a sailor would blush. The restaurant manager was quick to improve our situation and our server was timely with a comment to their table to stop the direction their conversation as it was causing several tables to request to be moved. Their interceding on our behalf meant that we would not have to make a request to unruly men to please keep it down. I look forward to my next visit so that I can sit, relax and enjoy fine wine and food. We have had many fine meals here, and look forward to visiting again.
Hands down the best place to eat in Long Beach and the surrounding cities. Exceptional service, mouth watering food and beautiful dining rooms.
Great time & food as usual. We're there every year turning LBGP
Celebrating my girlfriends 45th birthday and I could not have picked a better place to earn those “Cool Points”. Outstanding service and food. We loved it!!!
We always go to 555 for our special dinners. This visit was our 18th wedding anniversary. We actually had our reception at 555 18 years ago. Food was great...I think it was one of the best rib eyes I have had there. We had Margot for our service and she was superb.
Excellent. 5 stars. Had the sea bass. Possibly best piece of fish I've ever had
Bobbie our server was FANTASTIC !!!
Everything was perfect !
Great meal with an amazing writer, Brad, who is perfection. 555 rocks.
Birthday dinner . Excellent service food everything!!!!
Hands down winner of a Great American Steakhouse! The staff is superb ---from the servers, to the bartenders to the receptionist's. No better place for steaks in the Coastal area of SoCal !
Really good steak. The dry aged was expensive but the best piece of meat I’ve ever had. My friend complained his was cooked a little past medium rare but also loved the steak. The wedge salad was large but not a great piece of lettuce and the artichokes were not flavorful. Go for the steak and don’t order any extras as you are not at a value driven restaurant.
After visiting CSULB with our middle son and leaving him with some friends for the rest of the week, my wife and I were DUE for a date night. Brad was a very knowledgeable and thoughtful server! He was very attentive and answered every question we posed to him. Our steaks were AMAZING! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Great food and ambiance.
The marinade/flavor was off on the steak tips.
More significantly, the table next to us was loud, drunk and obnoxious. There was no avoiding hearing their conversations, which were often offensive. They spoke to my table @ 3 times, even though we showed no interest in engaging with them.
While it was not the waitresses' fault, she should have offered us another table, a discount, or asked the table next to us to settle down -- something to mitigate the situation. I felt that if I asked to move, it would have caused a scene with the other table, but in hindsight, it might have been a better result.
I visit the 555 twice a month. I ordered the wrong food I guest? The onion soup was like a beef base can.
Extremely salty. I told the server but I still got charged for the salty soup. I drink 4 glasses of water. I order the Chilean sea bass did not eat my dinner because I was so full with water and salt.
Perfect like always
Easter family dinner with out of town guests every detail was perfect
I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always cooked to perfection, top notch service, and the cantaloupe martini 🍸 is lovely.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food and service was as spectacular as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good food, not excellent, but very good. Very slow service. First at the bar while waiting for our table, cocktails were super slow. Then, we got lots of attention when we seated, but the rest of the flow was flawed. For Camille, the Mac and cheese came to the table 10 minutes after the rest of the food - and only after we asked. Also, we ordered a bottle of wine, it came well into the meal, and then it wasn’t good, so we needed another - it came to our table in another 6 minutes. Plus, we noted that our table was rarely cleared; cocktail glasses remained into the dessert round. We wish the service had met our expectations, but that had been established when we first went there in the ‘80s... times change.
Restaurant is always top notch just had a little too much salt on my sauteed spinach but they were very nice and quick about replacing it no questions asked. Seabass excellent as always. service great. and ambiance lovely, highly recommend 555 restaurant great date night
Wonderful! Our server Gina was excellent!
Have always loved 555 - been coming forever and will continue to do so - but have to admit that the increasing noise level is cheapening the experience. Went to help a friend celebrate her birthday and I had to lean in to hear anything from my dinner companions. Might as well have been at Chuck E Cheese's. I'll still come but maybe I'll just do the bar for happy hour instead.
Very friendly and attentive personel. I had a Porterhouse with a friend and it was perfectly done. A bit crispy at the outside and, as ordered, medium-rare plus at the inside. With the perfect wine combination it was a great evening!
nice ambience and food was very tasty and pricey. Service was excellent and waitress was very helpful with explanation of concerns of allergies.
We honestly weren't particularly thrilled by our experience. We got sat in a corner and the server seemed to frequently forget us. Both our steaks arrived underdone. For such an expensive place I expect top notch service and food which I definitely did not receive.
Priced for a great stake house that does it all, and well worth it! The layout, design and decore make for a very pleasant environment! No too loud yet feel comfortable enough to speak up. Nice live piano was great and drinks where poured in your favor! The price is long forgotten after the quality of the entire experience still remains!
My wife and I had a great time for our anniversary dinner at 555...
Attentive staff and service. Amazing beet salad with burrata or goat cheese and a nice slice of blue on top. 1/2 a cesear salad (but I missed the anchovy which probably comes with the full) steak cooked perfectly medium rare and a baked potato... my only issue with all restaurants and 555 as well is that they insist on serving a baked potato that is oiled and salted...which I and many of my friends cannot stand..
Been going here with my wife for awhile now and they haven't ever let me down.
