The service was wonderful. Very on point when something was needed and the whole team is on top of detail for your comfort. I’m big on service even if the food using great but I was really satisfied with both. The food was amazing! Especially the Mac n cheese, servers recommendation.

Amazing food. Only issue was filet being more medium than medium rare.

The food was delicious and the wait staff went above and beyond. I was at their grand opening back in 1984 and after all these years they don’t disappoint. It’s nice to get excellent service and great food. It’s hard to find both at the same place these days.

The highlights of the meal was the 45 day dry-aged bone in ribeye followed by the fresh Kumamoto oysters. We loved the old school steakhouse atmosphere. Valet ($10) and the hostess were both warm and prompt, and we were seated for our 7:00 pm reservation at 6:53. Bread and water were on the table at 6:54. The rest of the service was just gut-wrenching and painfully slow, and none of the service was held up at all by the back of the house at all. The food order wasn't placed until 7:17 and the first salad hit the table at 7:26. In the end, we were there for two hours in a restaurant that I would say was less than 50% full and we spent about 45 minutes of that time waiting idly for orders to be taken, the main course to be cleared, and to be cashed out. The food almost equaled out the service. But we expect more out of the price we paid and King's Seafood brand.

Great for a fancy date! FOOD - Sourdough Rolls: Delightfully sour. Definitely could have been baked longer. - Shucked Oysters: Pleasantly surprised by the accompanying sauces. Clean and fresh. - Calamari: Succulent and soft. Breading was crispy but slightly over seasoned. - French Onion Soup: It's a fine soup. Wife was a fan. - 30 Day Dry Aged Ribeye: 21oz (Includes Bone) Great experience! SERVICE - Servers: Attentive and not over bearing. Made great food recs and Wine Pairings - Ambiance: Relaxed and not rushed. Enjoy without worry. - Cocktails: Creative and there are no wrong choices.

555 was fine. Good service. Nice ambiance. Nothing special about the food. Drinks were great, steaks were fine, baked potato was great, French onion soup underwhelming at best -- bland broth, cheese not browned or yummy, crouton not toasted or something, just a ball of mushy white bread in the soup.

We were so impressed the night before with dinner here, we went again the next night and brought another family. Same great service. Same great food. Same great atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to accommodate changes to last minute reservations and seemed to go out of their way to make sure the meal was memorable. I can not recommend 555 East enough for an amazing, memorable steak diner.

We came with a party of seven and no one left unhappy. We tried several of the steaks (dry aged ribeye, Prime New York Strip, Prime Filet, Sirloin Cap, and sea bass. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. We started with split salads, the grilled octopus, and a dozen oysters. That set the tone for a great meal. Our waiter was excellent and very attentive without being "ever present". We loved the fact that there was no corkage fee and opened two bottles of our favorite Cab with dinner. When the waiter found out we were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary as well as a pre-wedding celebration for our 2nd cousin, he brought out a creme brulee that was absolutely delicious and capped a wonderful evening. I can't recommend the 555 East more highly.
