   We enjoy 555 for the great food but it was a celebration of two birthdays and nothing was given complimentary for the birthday ladies. Sad and does not live up to excellent service or finest dining!

   Came for an early dinner on a Friday night. Server was great. Let me start with that. We order 2 different cuts of steaks. One medium and one medium rare. They were clearly neither. Steaks were taken back to correct and bring us new steaks. One steak was correct-ish, the other was clearly overcooked again. The server acknowledged it looked worse than the first. Oh well it happens. We really didn’t eat the steaks. So here’s the kicker, the server came back and said we took the steaks off the bill. Oh wow. That’s great. Thanks. But that wasn’t exactly true. They were charging for the 4 steaks total and removed only 3. Wait what?!? They were gonna charge for 4 steaks on their mistake? Being that I grew in fine dining, this was such a poor business decision. That was a fav place of mine that I will no longer returning to and directing people to avoid.

   I had the perfect experience here on my date. The best mash potatoes I’ve ever had along with one of the best steaks was amazing. The live piano was the cherry on top. Well worth every dollar spent.

   Our friends are moving away to Colorado and one of the last Long Beach restaurant that they wanted to go to one more time was the 555. We had a great dinner, outstanding service, and a beautiful time together. Thank you 555!

   My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at 555 last weekend. It was our 4th time eating here and every single time has been fantastic! The food is always delicious -- if you like shrimp, the New Orleans BBQ Jumbo Shrimp appetizer is a an absolute must! Although the service has always been great as well, our server this time around made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. Ray was attentive, friendly and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back to celebrate more special occasions in the (hopefully near) future!

    We met up with our friends at 555 East since Long Beach is in between LA and OC. And had an amazing experience. They accommodated us in side, everyone was friendly and most importantly the steak and drinks were on point. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid steak dinner…

    Our server Bo was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the menu, he had perfect timing & his recommendations were spot on. Ryan the manager stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying everything which was an amazing touch as well. We had a wonderful experience!

    Our server was absolutely fantastic honestly one of the best servers we’ve ever had. The service overall was unbelievable! We started with cocktails and bbq shrimp. The cocktails were fantastic and the bbq shrimp was great. Highly recommend getting extra bread (it’s free) to dip in the sauce. Shrimp was a tad over cooked but I’m not picky. Then we got main courses prime ribeye steak and chicken carbonara - my steak was cooked close to my liking - would have liked it a little closer to med rare - but it rested perfectly and was juicy and delicious. My wife loved her chicken carbonara. We also got a side of Mac and cheese and it was incredible. Somehow light and heavy at the same time. The cheese sauce was wonderful and the breadcrumbs gave a great texture. We had desert with a crème brûlée and it was FANTASTIC. Creamy, rich, and the sugar topping was perfect. Overall would highly recommend.

    555 East was all that you would want and expect from a top level steakhouse. The bar service provided by Amanda and Dunbar was excellent with spot on cocktails and conversation. Our table service, delivered by Oscar was equally superb, prompt and professional. We enjoyed a 2019 Isoceles blend with our steaks, mushrooms and split Caesar salad This is a must when in the South Bay and Long Beach.

    Leslie was amazing, reviewed the menu with us, addressed all our questions and took our order in a timely manner. This was the first time my son and daughter-in-law have dined at 555 and they thoroughly enjoyed the meal, it was a late birthday celebration and worth the wait. This is a gem of a restaurant in downtown Long Beach.

    I always enjoy coming to this restaurant. We come for all celebrations. I also do work dinners here . Last night we did date night and unfortunately the experience wasn’t what we have been use to . We made a reservation for 7:30 pm and didn’t get seated until 8:15. We kept seeing other parties arriving after us and got seated before us . Once I mentioned it to the hostess, tons of excuses were given. After being seated it was a while after being noticed . We saw the manager asking the table next to us and the one in front of us if they were fine and just checking on them. But totally skipping our table. We were very professional about it and just enjoyed our dinner. The food is fantastic and they have an amazing whine list that we enjoy. I am a Long Beach resident and like to spend my money in my city to be supportive. Long story short we will be going to Flemings in Manhattan beach for all our celebrations .

    Had a very nice time on Mother's Day. Our waiter, Oscar, offered great suggestions and accommodated lots of questions. We ended up with a variety of steak and accompaniments and all was good. The mom loved the special gifts for the day. Nice touch!
