I was able to celebrate my birthday at 555 East. The food was wonderful and the staff was attentive to our needs.
The server had excellent service. I would recommend this restaurant
Excellent service, great food look forward to returning soon
This was my second time here. We came to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. The food did not disappoint. Everything was so good. Can’t go wrong with the surf and turf. Appetizers were great. The meatballs are really good! The service was great as well, Jesus took care of us, constantly checking on us. This place is starting to be one of my favorite restaurants!
As usual, 555 continues to be an excellent place for dinner. This is one of the very best restaurants in Long Beach.
Birthday dinner on a Friday night. Very enjoyable experience sitting outside next to a heater (it was chilly(!)). We had a glasses of wine but I have since heard the martinis are great so we'll have to come back and try them because everything was really good.
Enjoyed the meal and the service.
Great as always, but sitting in the middle of the street was not optimal. Great service.
Considering the situation with Covid, 5-stars.
Very very very good. Excellent steak (wagyu) delicious drinks and our server was second to none, thank you.
Food was great and so was the service. Thanks to our server, Bo, for a great evening!
The food was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was quick to take our drink and dinner orders and had things out promptly. The fillet was cooked perfectly, still juicy and buttered just enough. The valet guy even ran to get our car making the entire experience a 10 from beginning to end.
Always good. Prices a little high
Excellent as always
Our server was Awesome! She helped us pick out the perfect porterhouse! She was very attentive the entire time! The outside seating setup was very nice against the Long Beach back drop!
Anniversary
My husband and I celebrating each other.
WOW, outstanding does not describe the food and service at 555. Not only was the service superb but the food was great as well. Also, you cannot beat a restaurant without a corkage fee. We visited there for an anniversary dinner and they provided us with a menu congratulating our anniversary along with a dessert.
We had a fabulous dinner! Sat outside, it was a bit chilly but a heater was promptly turned on and it was perfect. Food and service were both exceptional, as it always is.
I normally have a good review for the 555 as they always treat us very well and the food is usually very good. I am sure I will have more good experiences there again as I will return but Friday night my steak was terrible. I ordered the petite fillet and all I tasted was salt with every bite. I did not send it back because it was late and I was starving and did not want to wait. Otherwise I would have given them the chance to make it right which I know they would have.
Incredible service, great food, great atmosphere, worth every penny
Melt in your mouth steaks, great - in quality and quantity - baked potatoes, and fantastic drinks!
The staff and service was wonderful.
Great food - and great service (thank you Rachel!). We sat outside and, although it was in the space created in the street, it was nice, comfortably spaced, and not noisy.
I believe our server was Julia, she was absolutely wonderful, was very helpful going over the menu. As my boyfriend said himself, “this is the best steak I’ve ever had.”
Engagement Dinner
Very expensive for low quantity of food and service is good but can be better, I would not dine again here.
Friendly, excellent food and drinks
Since it is patio/outdoor seating only it's sort of tough to rate the "ambience". It was a bit chilly the evening we were there but they promptly added an additional heater pole nearer to our table. Tough times for restaurants, for sure.
The FOOD was excellent! Be prepared to pay $60-70 for a ribeye steak, though. But all of the meal was superb! Service was very good, too. We'll be back for certain.
I enjoyed this place very much! It's expensive, but the service, ambience, and food make it worth it. I had the filet mignon 2 ways and it was DELICIOUS.
Well I had reservations but before arriving was told that my reservation was cancelled.
Valentine’s Day, What a amazing experience Food was Amazing just love the service
This was Valentine's Day, so it was very busy,. It was also very windy. We didn't have to wait that long. But, a group who appeared to be very demanding, didn't like the table they were offered and wanted to be seated where they desired. So the restaurant shoved a table in between other tables and moved a heater to accommodate this party,. There was no 6 feet distance. Because the group kept complaining, someone brought them complimentary chocolate dipped strawberries. They were allowed to order food on the regular menu too. A woman in the party didn't stop talking for at least two hours:. She was so loud that it was annoying for everyone around her. It's not our waiter's fault; he was great:. The food was great. But the drunk woman, and her party of 4, who demanded to be shoved in between other tabkes, were obnoxious and made our cold evening less pleasant.
Outstanding. I will be back!!
We’ve been coming here over 20 years and always enjoy. Not this time. It took 2 hours for 4 courses. Most of the time we were just waiting for next course or something to drink. The entree was a piece of beef (my husband filet was cold). Not a meal. It cost almost $400. Were really dissapointed.
The service was phenomenal - our waiter, Gilberto, was fantastic. Attentive and took the time to really get to know his customers. The food was exquisite!
Excellent service made up for a just okay experience. Over priced, no sides, beverage that I wanted on the menu was not available, extra $ for the little things.
Valentine Prefix menu was nice but would have preferred option to skip a course.
A5 Kobe appetizer was a delight, whereas 18oz Dry-aged Strip was a very close second, and Chilean Sea Bass selection kept me from regretting my decision to go with seafood over 555’s excellent beef offerings - Pro Tip: do not order same thing as you partner so you can know what you are missing.
Great food, great service, just a very enjoyable afternoon.
Sitting outside was tolerable with the heat lamps near, but it soon became a bit chilly as the sun began to set and the evening breeze pick-up.
I was glad we had reservations and didn't have to wait to be seated; also pleased we decided to go to an early seating.
This review is specifically for the Valentine's Day Pre-Fixe menu. Our reservation was V-Day at 2:15. They did there best to accommodate an outside crowd and had many tables set up in addition to their two patios. We were initially at a small table on the sidewalk next to the street, but did not like it and they moved us to another spot along the side of the building, that worked out great. The menu options were great, four courses including dessert. Each course were delicious, we got crab cake and calimari, then both got a wedge salad, then one filet and one rib-eye and lastly cheesecake and crème brulee. Each course was delicious and we were stuffed at the end. Our waiter, Russell provided impeccable service. Really one of the best we've ever had. He kept our wine glasses full and moved the courses in and out with no fuss. Took care of us without being obtrusive. We were also approached a couple times by the manager just checking in on us as well. We love 555 and have been going for years and they gave us a wonderful meal.
It was soo cold that we didn’t even stay to eat.
