great place good food and great service in a great place
Food was terrible. In particular, fish and chips had texture of shoe leather. Honestly, I am not sure how they managed to make it that way. Other food was edible but not good. Wait staff was pleasant but did nothing other than take orders and deliver food—2 visits. No comment on all of the uneaten food on the plates. We ate early and the place was uncrowded so that was not the issue. I assume 501 is a victim of the staffing issues plaguing the industry but it is still disappointing.
For a restaurant of this expense, the dining room (upstairs) ambiance was abysmal. to bright, to loud and tables too close together. The tables in the rear area of this dining room were empty, but they crammed all of the patrons into the front half of the dining room - so close together that you hear the conversations at the adjacent tables without even trying. Although the service was good, the waiter was wearing jeans and a golf shirt and the helper/busboy was literally wearing a concert t-shirt. The water glasses were plastic cups .... and the wine glasses were promo items from liquor company - with the liquor company's advertising printed on the glass - really?!?
I did not expect a "Silver Star Cafe" or "Riverhorse" experience for the price, but Squatter's has better ambiance that this place.
I won't be back.
Excellent service and food choices. Had a great meal.
Had hoped for a better experience. Waitress messed up order and one of our party had to wait. Food meh. Really felt like a lunch, not dinner.
Fantastic meal and drinks.
Restaurant was understaffed, not enough servers for the amount of tables. Food was cold, likely due their staffing issues. This place has potential but was disappointed with our experience.
Loud family with screaming kids (old enough to know better) and we get sat right next to them. Food was okay/good..server was great
The food is amazing and service was great! The place inside could use a little bit more warmth, for a place that has high end food we feel is lacking ambiance.
Good food and excellent service!
Quality of food and service is excellent. Construction in an adjacent room resulted in a high noise level in the restaurant.
It was such a cute little restaurant. The food was yummy. They were great to let us switch tables to a low table. The server was so kind to my 4 year old daughter who is very chatty. Would recommend!
Wait staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Food was good but they were out of the chili and ran out of one of the tap beers we ordered and it wasn’t a very busy night. Heard them tell someone else they were out of another item. Seems like a good restaurant and maybe that was just an off night but would be great if they could have a little more on their menu to choose from and fix any supply issues so they don’t run out.
It was closed!!!
Bar seats were great with the games on. Bartender/server was appropriately chatty and friendly.
Average food. Efficient service.
The Utah red trout with creamed spinach was the best ever, served on a hot iron skillet to match the mountain magic.
Great family place!! GREAT food and drinks and the TVs are easy to see but not overpowering. Like going to Mom's for dinner! We'll be back!!!
The Ceviche was very good and I loved the Ruben Sandwich. I didn’t care for my wife’s chicken cavatappi pasta but she felt it was great. The staff was friendly and personable. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Great food with lots of gluten free options. A very good value for the high level of food quality.
Relaxed, casual environment. Good food.
The lobster bisque soup was excellent. Salads were poor. Smashed avocado appetizer was only so so . For a Halibut Dinner/Fish and Chips...consisted of 3 fish sticks. All this, and the cost was over $100. We will not be back.
This restaurant was such a disappointment, the only positive thing I can say is our server was very nice and they are a pet friendly restaurant. The food was terrible, we had trout, fish & chips, burger, salad. The trout pecan coating was burnt, fish was blah. The salad had hardly any dressing. The buffalo shrimp appetize was so overcooked the coating was HARD and the shrimp were dry and tough. They served beverages in plastic cups. The drink prices were outrageous... $17 for a Margarita!
Very disappointing. They are in a prime location in Park City, but they won't last.
501 on Main is a casual dining option in the middle of the Park City Strip. We were seated on the Main floor and Rich, our Server, was OUTSTANDING. We enjoyed our meals, Cavatappi, pot roast, Fish fry and Flat Iron steak and the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. We would definitely go back!
The fish and chips and the trout were over cooked, very tough and stringy.
We had the spinach and artichoke dip, VERY GOOD! For dinner I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Grilled cheese was good, the tomato soup was extremely rich, they tried too hard, only ate a few bites. The fries were a little over seasoned. The waitress was not overly nice or extremely rude. At the table, she was nice to us, but with other guest she seemed rude. Hard to rate her. Probably would go back.
Not fine dining. A burger joint.
This was a very interesting place which I thoroughly enjoyed. The decor and music were spot on. The menu had nice options to choose from. The French Onion soup was really good but was way too small for the price charged. The artichoke pasta had ingredients that were not listed on the menu which created a concern for allergies. The butternut squash ravioli was excellent. It would be nice if bread were served with your pasta dishes. This place is a must for the ambiance. Too bad we weren’t there for when the live music started,
We had the pot roast which was like shredded beef with little flavor and virtually no gravy, also the fish and chips were bland as well. They could use a person trained in food
flavoring with fresh herbs and spices.
We went fir Sunday brunch. We live in park city and had 2 people who don’t live here join us. The cocktails were excellent. Service was slow but i don’t mind waiting i know there is a lack of employees in service industries right now. The food on the other hand was really bad. I orders the smashed avocado toast and it was not good. The avocado had a tang to it like it was not fresh. The egg on the avocado toast was a cold hard boiled egg with a dark rim around the yolk and obviously not from that day. It was crumbly and lacked flavor. Such a disappointment to take my friends here. My husband had the breakfast burrito and it was heavily loaded with bacon. He liked it ok but it looked unbalanced to me. It’s too bad- they have a great spot and great ambiance.
The service was really just okay, which was a bummer since everything else was charming and good. Our waitstaff seemed distracted, forgetting drinks and leaving the table for a long period of time without checking back. This experience made what could have been amazing just pretty good. Food was good.
1st time & will definitely go back! Great food & drinks with really warm & inviting service. Must get the French fries no matter what else you order!!
We sat on the terrace overlooking Main Street. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed people watching while enjoying a great meal. The waiter was excellent and attentive. Fantastic night all around.
The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The food was delicious. We totally enjoyed ourselves.
The kids’ meals were priced well and enjoyed by our children. My husband loved his lobster bisque. I got the cavatappi, but it was pretty average. It was supposed to come with feta, which they forgot to add, and that would have helped. However, the “sauce” was heavy on the olive oil and not very tasty.
Confusing menu, somewhat limited , good food but somewhat overpriced, casual atmosphere, somewhat loud but seen worse, prompt service
We had a reservation and were seated on time. I took a while to get our drinks because "the bartender was backed up". The food was served promptly. Pot roast was delicious and my husband liked the fish and chips, but portions were not that generous (no doggie bags)! Wine by the glass and bottle is way over priced.
The food was one of the worst meals that we have had in Park City. We ordered Bison Chili and it was very bland and barely any meat in the chili. My husband ordered pot roast and it was beyond bland. We did not drink our wine and then ordered margaritas which were awful. Our waiter Austin was very good and the service was good. Food was poor.
Food and service was excellent.
Cool place to eat on Main Street! Great appetizers, soups, and salads!
