Not fine dining. A burger joint.
This was a very interesting place which I thoroughly enjoyed. The decor and music were spot on. The menu had nice options to choose from. The French Onion soup was really good but was way too small for the price charged. The artichoke pasta had ingredients that were not listed on the menu which created a concern for allergies. The butternut squash ravioli was excellent. It would be nice if bread were served with your pasta dishes. This place is a must for the ambiance. Too bad we weren’t there for when the live music started,
We had the pot roast which was like shredded beef with little flavor and virtually no gravy, also the fish and chips were bland as well. They could use a person trained in food
flavoring with fresh herbs and spices.
We went fir Sunday brunch. We live in park city and had 2 people who don’t live here join us. The cocktails were excellent. Service was slow but i don’t mind waiting i know there is a lack of employees in service industries right now. The food on the other hand was really bad. I orders the smashed avocado toast and it was not good. The avocado had a tang to it like it was not fresh. The egg on the avocado toast was a cold hard boiled egg with a dark rim around the yolk and obviously not from that day. It was crumbly and lacked flavor. Such a disappointment to take my friends here. My husband had the breakfast burrito and it was heavily loaded with bacon. He liked it ok but it looked unbalanced to me. It’s too bad- they have a great spot and great ambiance.
The service was really just okay, which was a bummer since everything else was charming and good. Our waitstaff seemed distracted, forgetting drinks and leaving the table for a long period of time without checking back. This experience made what could have been amazing just pretty good. Food was good.
1st time & will definitely go back! Great food & drinks with really warm & inviting service. Must get the French fries no matter what else you order!!
We sat on the terrace overlooking Main Street. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed people watching while enjoying a great meal. The waiter was excellent and attentive. Fantastic night all around.
The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The food was delicious. We totally enjoyed ourselves.
The kids’ meals were priced well and enjoyed by our children. My husband loved his lobster bisque. I got the cavatappi, but it was pretty average. It was supposed to come with feta, which they forgot to add, and that would have helped. However, the “sauce” was heavy on the olive oil and not very tasty.
Confusing menu, somewhat limited , good food but somewhat overpriced, casual atmosphere, somewhat loud but seen worse, prompt service
We had a reservation and were seated on time. I took a while to get our drinks because "the bartender was backed up". The food was served promptly. Pot roast was delicious and my husband liked the fish and chips, but portions were not that generous (no doggie bags)! Wine by the glass and bottle is way over priced.
The food was one of the worst meals that we have had in Park City. We ordered Bison Chili and it was very bland and barely any meat in the chili. My husband ordered pot roast and it was beyond bland. We did not drink our wine and then ordered margaritas which were awful. Our waiter Austin was very good and the service was good. Food was poor.
Food and service was excellent.
Cool place to eat on Main Street! Great appetizers, soups, and salads!
We came to 501 for their gluten free menu. While I was impressed that they have a dedicated gluten free fryer, I wouldn’t say this is a place I’d rush back to. Our server was nice but forgot some simply requests, like ketchup and tartare sauce. Those mistakes make me wonder how seriously she took my order, for gluten free/celiac safe food. Like I mentioned, I was very excited for the celiac safe fried food; unfortunately, the flavor wasn’t there. I’ve had much better, to me the fish and chips were dry and the breading was almost burnt. If you don’t have access to GF fried food this place is probably worth the trip, but if you are able to find GF fried food even once per year, don’t bother with this place.
Food was pretty good. Service was good. Ambiance is not good at all. Bad decor and too bright. Felt more like a Cafe you'd go for lunch vs a nice dinner.
Great service 🤩 delicious food! Cute decor, makes casual dining special !
Amazing food and super friendly service.
Great service and food. Slept great after eating. Lol
This was our last night in Park City, Utah. We hadn't ever been here before and I had read that 501 was the IT place to eat your dinner at. I had booked ahead, we were celebrating a special occasion, and was excited to go. I was a little disappointed, to be honest from the service. When we got there the hostess said our table wouldn't be ready for 8 more minutes. (We had booked an 8 pm dinner reservation and had gotten there at 7:52 pm.) I understood and were fine to waitm but she said we had to wait outside of the main door in the little hallway leading to the outside door - which mind you everyone coming in or out uses. Now this wouldn't be terrible, except it is Park City in the middle of February! It was freezing and to have us wait over there for 10 minutes was riddiculous. We could have easily waited along the wall inside or simply place us at a different table... I don't think our 8 minutes changed where we were placed. Once we were seated it took a little while to get drinks, but the food was delicious.
I don't think I will be coming back to this restaurant since there are equally good restaurants in other places.
Food was good for anyone looking to dine with a food allergy. Overpriced for the casual dining experience. Server was nice but slow to come around.
One and done for us.
It was a great place! We loved it. Good food, great view, wonderful service.
Was visiting in Park City. Nice ambiance and food was very good. Definitely recommend. Food is a little pricey though. Overall, good place
Covid precautions are bad. Tables way too close together, inadequate partitions between. Very uncomfortable / unsafe, we won’t be returning until after Covid.
501 is usually our go-to for taking friends out to dinner. We ordered the tempura shrimp which tasted like they came out of a frozen box then sat under a heater for several hours. Very stale and hard. We’ve always gotten the pot roast in the past; it usually was a large amount of food served with cooked veggies and lots of gravy. This time it was a small amount of meat, no gravy/juice, barely cooked veggies, and tortilla chips on top of the dish. Very strange presentation and not very good. I ordered the pecan crusted trout. It had no flavor and was dry. I got mashed potatoes which were ok but also hard and dry. Not sure what changed in the last year but this is not at all the same level of food that 501 is usually known for.
Stopped in for brunch on Sunday before leaving town at the end of the weekend. Was wanting some more breakfast-y items for brunch, but I did look at the menu ahead of time. Was happy with the selections, though prices were higher. This was somewhat expected being the venue is in a destination town. I did appreciate that 501 took reservations and that immediately narrowed them down to one of the choices. Went with the Smoked Reuben and a double-order of the Tomato Basil soup. The Green Tea Toddy recommended by my server, Matthew, was also a good choice for the cold day. Had I some more time in my travel plans, I would have stuck around for another round.
Just ok all the way around
We were celebrating a birthday. We had been there a week earlier and it was overall excellent. Tonight, the Tempura shrimp appetizer came out cold, but the waiter brought us a new one that was good. The waiter was average at best, but most of the food was very good. We were seated by the front doors/windows upstairs and it was very cold due to a draft.
Wonderful ambience - ask for 2nd floor (fireplace and windows). Trout highly recommend! Service was very good, and have the chelate tart for dessert!
A strong Park City favorite. The two story venue makes for an intimate feel and the decor is rustic and charming. Food portions are adequate and the staff is very friendly. A great location after a day on the slopes!
Wonderful place for our family to spend New Years Eve! Fun cocktails, delicious food and we sat upstairs and had a view of Main Street! Wonderful evening!
Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was great. The lights outside the windows were beautiful. Our party of 6 enjoyed this restaurant the most of all we attended during the week!
Great menu! Everything was delicious. Our group ordered everything from wedge salads, pot roast, turkey melt, lobster bisque, and a bison burger. All great!
Christmas dinner was awesome! Server was the best ever and everyone had a nice time.
Our group had a great dinner experience at 501 on Main. Cocktails were good and food was especially good- everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! Service was excellent- drinks were refilled and server checked in regularly through meal. Will go again.
Simple food and restaurant in a great location. Overpriced for what we ate, but assume due to location.
Our food was over cooked and had no taste. I would never go back.
Service was good, setting was nice, food was mediocre.
Overpriced terrible vegetarian dishes
A risotto came out with a block of fried noodles on the bottom and dry rice on top
My daughters vegan curry dish had several chunks of potatoes and carrots and did not have any vegan protein as they ran out at $23!
My Greek salad with salmon on a bed of mostly Romain lettuce was the only acceptable food. I left early as food was overall terrible. My kids and husband stayed for desserts which apparently took nearly an hour to come out; they ended up comping the desserts. Overall terrible experience, horrible food, NOT recommended!
Based on the reviews and price I expected more. Food was excellent. Ambiance was not on par with some other restaurants with similar pricing. The duck taped carpet is simply unacceptable when you are paying $150+ for 2 people to have drinks and dinner.
