501 on Main
They DO NOT take reservations for lunch including open table. The guy was VERY rude about it even though they had plenty of open tables.
We love this place. The food, drinks and service keep us coming back every time we visit Park City on Spring Break. The bartender Matt is a great guy and makes an awesome Old Fashioned.
Very mediocre and the food was barely warm when served.
Excellent food and good service. Great choices for gluten free.
The food and service were great. We sat upstairs and the venue was a perfect fit. Our sever was excellent. The menu had enough options with GF that everyone was happy. Wine list and cocktails were very good with local distillers. We had two kids under 7 and never felt like they were out of place. Good was very good.
Food very good and service attentive. But timing of courses very off. In our case the main course came before appetizer dishes were cleared, literally seconds after we finished. For the two tables next to us, main courses were delivered before they were finished with their appetizers. A shame, because otherwise excellent service and this gave it more of a rushed cafeteria feel.
Service was quick and the servers were so kind allowing us to move tables away from a large/loud party. The trout and pot roast were amazing. The kids loved their chicken tenders, filet tenderloin, and French fries!
The food was faboulous, highly recommend the fried onions.
We had dinner here while visiting Park City.
Took a chance and it was amazing.
GREAT fresh food...wonderful wine....A+
Ok menu. Pretty good food (pot roast in particular). Overpriced and most actual prices were MUCH higher than their online menu on their website! Service was good, but very rushed! And it wasn't busy. We received our appetizers and main course within 35 minutes of being seated. Did NOT make for a comfortable experience. Overall a mediocre to ok, short-lived time.
Glad to see that 501 is BACK! Missed the pot roast - it's as good as it used to be!
Excellent service. The chef really knows his stuff. We are Vegan, so it's few and far between that a chef understands how to make our flavors pop. This was top not. HIGHLY recommend the Risotto.
Excellent service and food! Party of 6 all enjoyed our evening at 501. Three of us had the pot roast and three had the trout and we all loved our meals! Cassie was a great waitress! We enjoyed our table upstairs near the fireplace. The large windows allowed us to watch the snow falling and the action on the street below. Great evening!
A very restaurant choice for our last night in Park City. Great staff, well presented and tasty food.
There was a table of patrons who were drinking excessively and very loud and obnoxious. The dinner was good but we were anxious to leave because of the atmosphere.
Loved all the gluten free options...onion slivers and tempura shrimp were delish!
We were on the second floor and our table was the only table right in the middle of the room. Every time the servers went by they would bump our chairs or ask us to move in closer to the table (we were already very close). Very uncomfortable eating a nice dinner and constantly getting bumped into
Server was great.
Good food. Recently remodeled.
The lobster bisque was amazing. Beautiful backdrop of the snowcapped mountains in the background. The turkey melt was good. Love the ciabatta bread.
Xmas eve dinner- overpriced average food! Would not recommend
What I liked most about this restaurant was all of the vegan options that were available to my daughter. She had plenty to choose from and that made all of us very happy. The service was spectacular and while my salmon was overcooked, it was easy to overlook that due to the attention and effort made by the waitstaff and kitchen to accommodate some of our special requests.
The restaurant was obviously understaffed. Our waitress was trying her best, but couldn’t keep up, and the wait was excessive. We saw several times when orders were brought upstairs to the dining room, set on the racks at the top of the stairs, and sat there for up to 10 minutes until she could pick them up and take them to the tables.
The food was in general good, not notable. Two attempts to get a medium rare burger failed miserably, however, as both were well done at best, overdone and dry.
We will not return.
We had a reservation and there was obviously seating issues happening. Sat for 15 minutes before a server stopped by our table. Received our appetizer, caprese-which was good- however; no silverware for another 15 when our meal arrived. Beet salad was very tasty as well as the tomato soup my partner had. Our appetizer was comped but we had to chase down our bill so we could leave. Disappointed.
They are amazing with allergies!
501 on Main was a great restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Our waitress went above and beyond when my daughter accidentally flipped her plate of food onto the floor - brought her an entirely new plate of food! My husband and I had the vegetable risotto (mine with scallops) and it was SO good. The wine recommended by the waitress was also right on point. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Seated early. Great service. Food was excellent.
The food is alright, definitely not worth the price. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and it was soggy chicken and the buffalo sauce was sort of like ketchup, but I'm wondering if this is a Utah thing? Because nothing here so far is even remotely spicy. My husband ordered the turkey melt, he enjoyed, but nothing extraordinary.
Great family owned business.
I’ve been here before and loved it but my pot roast was without flavor and had tortilla strips on top. My husband likes his bison burger. Won’t be back.
Outstanding food and service. I will be back so I can try the burger or the turkey melt. The black bean burger was phenomenal. It was seasoned perfectly and served on the perfect roll with lettuce and tomato.
The place was VERY loud, hard to carry on a conversation.
Lots of children crawling around and running around.
Overall, a very "blah" experience for us. The service was great, but the food was just so so. Also didn't love the general "vibe" - decor, tables/chairs, etc. I would go to the bar downstairs but not eat here again.
Great service and great food. The tomato bisque is amazing
We had dinner upstairs. The service was amazing and so was the food. The atmosphere was less casual than the bar downstairs, yet very comfortable. My alfredo was served using elbow macaroni & cheese. Not what I was expecting but delicious. The scallop & shrimp dinner was awesome.
Nothing but mediocre food. The risotto was actually just overcooked rice, nothing like a buttery smooth risotto with a bit of a bite in the rice. The spicy chicken alfredo was just some chunks of chicken in pasta with a bit of spicy milky sauce - not a creamy alfredo at all. The trout was okay, but sides were boring.
Service was just fine, attentive. We were in the upstairs room which has minimal charm, just jam packed with tables.
Food and drink were fantastic! We made a reservation for lunch during busy ski season while on vacation. We arrived and were told they did not accept reservations for lunch. I showed the hostess my Open Table confirmation email and she shrugged and said she would work on accommodating us. In the meantime two bar seats opened and we sat there. Our service was great from the server from Macedonia. My spiked hot chocolate drink was out of this world and my salmon burger was amazing. We loved it so much we came back another day with 5 others and had an early lunch in the upstairs room (very nice) and had more wonderful food.
Nice food. Somewhat limited menu. Upstairs dining area is nothing beautiful, but service is good as was value for spring break in Park City.
Very loud. Bad table in crowded upstairs dining room. Service was spotty. Food was excellent. Pecan crusted trout is a winner!
