The restaurant was obviously understaffed. Our waitress was trying her best, but couldn’t keep up, and the wait was excessive. We saw several times when orders were brought upstairs to the dining room, set on the racks at the top of the stairs, and sat there for up to 10 minutes until she could pick them up and take them to the tables.
The food was in general good, not notable. Two attempts to get a medium rare burger failed miserably, however, as both were well done at best, overdone and dry.
We will not return.
We had a reservation and there was obviously seating issues happening. Sat for 15 minutes before a server stopped by our table. Received our appetizer, caprese-which was good- however; no silverware for another 15 when our meal arrived. Beet salad was very tasty as well as the tomato soup my partner had. Our appetizer was comped but we had to chase down our bill so we could leave. Disappointed.
They are amazing with allergies!
501 on Main was a great restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Our waitress went above and beyond when my daughter accidentally flipped her plate of food onto the floor - brought her an entirely new plate of food! My husband and I had the vegetable risotto (mine with scallops) and it was SO good. The wine recommended by the waitress was also right on point. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Seated early. Great service. Food was excellent.
The food is alright, definitely not worth the price. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and it was soggy chicken and the buffalo sauce was sort of like ketchup, but I'm wondering if this is a Utah thing? Because nothing here so far is even remotely spicy. My husband ordered the turkey melt, he enjoyed, but nothing extraordinary.
Great family owned business.
I’ve been here before and loved it but my pot roast was without flavor and had tortilla strips on top. My husband likes his bison burger. Won’t be back.
Outstanding food and service. I will be back so I can try the burger or the turkey melt. The black bean burger was phenomenal. It was seasoned perfectly and served on the perfect roll with lettuce and tomato.
The place was VERY loud, hard to carry on a conversation.
Lots of children crawling around and running around.
Overall, a very "blah" experience for us. The service was great, but the food was just so so. Also didn't love the general "vibe" - decor, tables/chairs, etc. I would go to the bar downstairs but not eat here again.
Great service and great food. The tomato bisque is amazing
We had dinner upstairs. The service was amazing and so was the food. The atmosphere was less casual than the bar downstairs, yet very comfortable. My alfredo was served using elbow macaroni & cheese. Not what I was expecting but delicious. The scallop & shrimp dinner was awesome.
Nothing but mediocre food. The risotto was actually just overcooked rice, nothing like a buttery smooth risotto with a bit of a bite in the rice. The spicy chicken alfredo was just some chunks of chicken in pasta with a bit of spicy milky sauce - not a creamy alfredo at all. The trout was okay, but sides were boring.
Service was just fine, attentive. We were in the upstairs room which has minimal charm, just jam packed with tables.
Food and drink were fantastic! We made a reservation for lunch during busy ski season while on vacation. We arrived and were told they did not accept reservations for lunch. I showed the hostess my Open Table confirmation email and she shrugged and said she would work on accommodating us. In the meantime two bar seats opened and we sat there. Our service was great from the server from Macedonia. My spiked hot chocolate drink was out of this world and my salmon burger was amazing. We loved it so much we came back another day with 5 others and had an early lunch in the upstairs room (very nice) and had more wonderful food.
Nice food. Somewhat limited menu. Upstairs dining area is nothing beautiful, but service is good as was value for spring break in Park City.
Very loud. Bad table in crowded upstairs dining room. Service was spotty. Food was excellent. Pecan crusted trout is a winner!
We were seated in a busy location at the top of the stairs , but near the fireplace, which was nice. I tried the ratatouille, which was fine , but needed something with it. Asked for bread, which helped. My son had the vegetarian curry, which he liked a lot. The service was very good as the waiter took back the margarita and made another to my son’s liking
Mediocre on all levels. Attention to the details is lacking all around. Hostess was uncommunicative and showed no effort to make us feel welcome. Server did the basics but certainly was not overly attentive nor checked on our table much. The pot roast entree was lacking in any particular flavor, lots of fat not trimmed from the meat and not particularly tender in its cooking. The featured dish that was advertised as “on the cover of Park City menu guide” was also blah and lacking in flavor. Price was not inexpensive. Overall, nothing stood that would cause us to return.
Casual dining at it's best. Friendly and helpful staff combined with generous portions of gluten free and vegetarian choices using fresh local ingredients.
We were a group of 3. I had the Pot Roast, which was tender, but lacking of sauce. The horeseradish flavored smashed potatoes were good and the veggies were nicely made al dente.
The risotto dish and the Ratatouille vegetarian dish was average.
The restroom definitely needs more attention!
Not a great experience. They were out of all of their vegetarian dishes and were not accommodating to our needs at all.
I love this restaurant! They have an excellent menu, and almost everything can be made gluten-free. The lunch and bar menu is delicious. Dinner is festive! One of my favorite places in Park City!
A nice change of pace from all of the $$ restaurants in Park City. A busy Saturday but never felt rushed. Well-prepared meals and great service. (Thanks Sarah).
Our waiter was very unavailable. He did not offer us dessert or an option for a second drink. We finished our meal and were handed the check.
Our food was prepared as requested. The service was friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was flavorful. A very nice meal!
We thought the food was a bit bland and uninteresting. We had the onion fries appetizer and the vegetarian risotto.
Average at best. Tried to modify our reservation and was told that they were booked all night only to find the place 3/4 empty when we go there.
This is my 2nd time to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Get the berry pie!
Hostess gave us a bigger table which was nice and server was so thoughtful bringing me hot water with honey and lemon because I had a tickle cough
Good food and nice casual vibe. In the center of Park City's Main Street but wasn't too crazy.
I thought the Pot Roast and mashed potatoes were delicious and tasted home made. My husband had the risotto and devoured the whole thing.
Great food - we sat upstairs which was fun to look over Main Street at night. Service was wonderful. I like that they have vegetarian choices on the menu.
Our table was ready when we arrived. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Very good food.
The food was good, but the service was terrible. None of the food came out on time. Main dinners came out before appetizers. There were eight of us, and five received drinks while the other three had to ask twice before they arrived. The manager was apologetic, and discounted the bill, but our waitress needed much more training. Very disappointing.
Amazing food! Really loved it overall
We really liked the menu choices and the food itself was wonderful. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we had excellent service.
It was fairly empty but we had a terrific meal. I had the trout which was really satisfying and finished everything on the plate. My husband had the pot roast and couldn’t finish it, but loved it. Our waitress was really nice.
Maya was a wonderful server. Our food was delicious . Wine list was good.
Everything was amazing, I really enjoy coming to 501 on Main. This is was my second time and I love having the options of gluten free and vegan. Not many restaurants have these options and many do have dietary restrictions. Only thing that was a bit off was the service, had to wait for the waitress in the beginning for quite a while but after it was great.
