The menu choices were awful, or should I say nothing on the menu was accurate. Garden omelette had no vegetables, only prime rib and cheese. Kitchen vegetable soup was clam chowder. French toast was made with bananas foster and they simply could not adapt and make you simple French toast. Or a simple egg dish. It was eggs Benedict or the steak filled omelet, or nothing. The 8 year old with us had to have quinoa pancakes with blueberries, no other option.
The view is very nice. I’ll never take my family to brunch there again!

We arrived on time for our reservations and taken to a very unfavorable table. We asked to move inside or out and were told that all the other tables were reserved within the next half hour. That turned out not to be true. Many tables more pleasantly place were unoccupied the whole time we were there. The empanadas were ok but it was the worst lobster roll I have ever attempted to eat. It was obvious the lobster had sat in the refrigerator too long and was tasteless. The beignets were fine. Our server Amy did a fine job.

New menu was good. Service was a little scattered. The server was very busy and the menu threw him a bit. Very loud. Prices were a bit high for quantity. Overall good experience.

I’ve eaten at 50 Ocean several times since 2014 and always had a good experience. It is a lovely restaurant and the views cannot be beat. I was excited to be heading to Delray and having dinner there after being stuck in the cold and brutal Northeast. That said, my most recent trip was highly disappointing. From one of the main entrees (grouper) being sold out with nothing to replace it to them not accommodating a meal request they have always done in the past (making a burger) to me getting sick after the meal, the whole night left a bad impression. Our waitress was sweet but no one seemed overly interested in the service except to rush us out the door because it was later in the evening on Sunday. I have always loved 50 Ocean and was really looking forward to seeing their new menu but the whole night left a bad impression.

Lobster bisque delicious but lukewarm bordering on cold. Entrees are well prepared but the prices of $35 and up are significantly overpriced for what you get.

Had an unpleasant experience. The valets were uncommunicative when we pulled in. Our server was nice, however the appetizers came out at different times and we had to request the final one as the fourth person in our party sat there with nothing . We ordered our entrees and a few minutes later the server returned to tell us that they no longer had Grouper. Three people in our party had ordered it. This is understandable and we reordered. One entree which were scallops came out barely warm. On departure the valets were once again inarticulate.
I have not previously ever written a review. We obviously were very disappointed despite the fact the food when we got it, was pretty good.

Outstanding food and service in a romantic setting. From the sofa style seating area where you may sit and relax while awaiting your table to the exotic backlit bar countertop everything is First Class!

Have eaten brunch here many times. Dinner was disappointing. It started with the air conditioning leaking and blowing directly on us. When we moved tables and the ambience and the comfort was much better. The menu was limiting however the food we did have was decent. The best part was our waiter was fantastic!

I asked for my pasta dish to have very.. very little sauce and it came with a large amount of sauce.. seems like the chef wasn’t listening... also the waiter gave our table the wrong caeser salad... he mixed up our table with another that didnt want croutons or anchovies... we brought it to the waiters attention...

Sorry did not enjoy. So many other good restaurants in the area I’d skip this. The bread was awesome and delicious. Decor and setting is nice. That’s it. The menu is weird and descriptions don’t help much. Coconut grouper app had such heavy breading you almost need a buzz saw to open it. Pina colada mojito extremely sugary and gooey. Ordered lobster roll for 35 dollars. Ton of lobster in it but not fresh or buttery as expected. Tasted frozen. Came with small Caesar salad featuring special croutons and white anchovy. Tasteless worst Caesar salad ever. One anchovy. No croutons. We won’t be back. Oh, really hate the fact that there are glass tables hard to keep clean and no placemat or anything under your table setting. They need it. Dishes clink and sweat on the table.

What a great place to have your birthday dinner! Our waiter Matthew was awesome because he wasn’t too shy to honestly tell us his favs on the menu which enhanced our overall experience. He made excellent pairing suggestions for our bottle of wine as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Disappointed in the Ora King Poached Salmon. Firstly, we as consumers and frequent diners know that the tail section is the less choice portion of the fish and never served in a better restaurant. Secondly, you can’t eat a garnish like the couscous which was barely sprinkled on the entree and the blackberry shrub, buttermilk whip, watercress gel. The description suggests that all these items accompany the entree and most would think these items complete the meal. They are exclusively a garnish for decoration.
Poorly thought out. I should have returned this entree to the kitchen

Omelette was tasteless and I was unable to select the filling. Different vegetables should be available besides feta, a few spinach leaves and tomato for Sunday Brunch.

My husband and I have enjoyed the weekend brunch at 50 Ocean several times. The wait staff has always been very helpful and fun to chat with. We enjoy choosing from the great menu and like the new additions. The endless mimosas make a weekend brunch most enjoyable! We look forward to our next meal at 50 Ocean..

When we arrived for breakfast I requested a window seat. I was told it should have been noted in my open table reservations. Even though there were plenty of tables available. We were seated away from the window.
Our food was cold when it arrived at the table. The server was gracious enough to get 20% off of our bill.
The food may have been good if it was warmer. No offer was made to correct the situation other than give a discount.

Food and service was great, it was the noise level that was the only negative, very lively bar scene. Not great as a place for a business conversation. If you are looking for a spot with great food, service and a party atmosphere...this is your spot.
