Baked pancakes were so so good!
Will not be going back. I had the filet and lobster tail. Lobster tail was two bites worth abd the filet was less than 1/2 " thick and way over cooked.
Restaurant carpet was gross, material on chairs were frayed, windows were filthy.
I don't recommend.
Great! Great!Great! Great!Great! Great!Great! Great!Great! Great!
For visiting relatives, 1st time in Hawaii, this is the PERFECT place for Sunday brunch or lunch. The views are top notch for the S.Shore and the servers are very polite and professional. The perfect ambiance for catching up with family and friends who want to enjoy the ocean view at Keawe Kapu
My fiancé and I visited this restaurant for our engagement dinner. The staff sat us at a table on the patio facing the ocean to make it feel more private and even provided us a champagne toast on the house. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and made great food recommendations. The food was so good and presented beautifully. I would highly recommend this place!
The food was horrible and way over priced. Steak was $50 and all fat, the cheeseburgers were chewy fat balls couldnt even finish $20 salad was so small and warm beer. We left and had to go find dinner after spending $200 Totally bad. But waitress was great
Beautiful setting beachside. The food is good but the menu could use a few more items for lunch. We eat there every couple of months because we love the view.
Great breakfast . Eggs Benedict was very good. Beautiful
Excellent surf and turf. Excellent service, great for special occasions or a nice dinner during vacation or any time
Very expensive for what you get. Not very welcoming feel from the staff. Menu is very limited and you get very little portion for the price. I got an Ono sandwich with a small thin slice of fish with small leaf of lettuce and one slice of tomato, 3 small slices of avocado and a drip of Mayo and fries for $25.00. You’re paying for the location/view and that’s it.
Service has gone downhill. NONE of the servers seemed to care about service. Breakfast order was missing toast as described. When reminded, dry toast arrived later. When reminded about jam, it arrived even later. Salad of my guest had wrong dressing on it. Obtaining refills on drinks was very long wait. Felt like I had to beg for items that were ordered/included. The food is expensive, so I absolutely expect to receive the items as described on menu and this includes toast & jam. My bad for choosing this place to rendezvous with friends. The setting is fantastic, but the experience was embarrassing. Lackadaisical and inattentive service.
Wonderful overall experience but very pricey. Food portions are moderate but delicious.
Wonderful experience and good food! Loved the coconut shrimp! Beautiful sunset view
The Loco Moco is pricey, but so good! One of the best on island IMO.
Always a go-to on our Maui vacations! Excellent service and fabulous food!
The food was very good in a beautiful setting overlooking the beach. We were celebrating our sons engagement. It was disappointing however, that the bill included two additional entrees that we did not order. I don’t always review the bill closely, but glad I did this time. The error was about $80.00. I hope that this was an honest mistake.
Love this place. Food is consistently good and the staff is so kind a d happy.
Excellent scenery, service & choices for breakfast & food /drinks were fresh & delicious! Only reason for 4 vs 5 star overall was little pricey.
Great fish dishes.
Full bar with excellent Mai Tai's.
Excellent brunch/breakfast options with unbeatable views and outdoor ambiance. Loved our friendly service.
Great food, server was awesome, beautiful view!!
The food was very mediocre and the prices were egregiously high, even for Hawaii. It was very disappointing and I would not recommend it at all.
I have been to 5 Palms a couple previous times but only for Happy Hour and I sat outside. We had dinner this time and sat in the restaurant. The decor is tired at best and the wait staff seemed the same. The food was mediocre and prices very high. I’m sad because I will not return. I guess the sunset view (which we didn’t have this time) is the main reason to come here.
Lovely restaurant with awesome views great staff and wonderful food. Highly recommend. Good for breakfast too.
A beautiful view of the sunset with 3 1/2 star food. We’re glad we came but probably would not do it again.
We decided on 5 Palms for our last meal on Maui. The food was fantastic. Our waiter, Stuart, was the rudest waiter I have ever experienced. I waited 10-15 minutes just to find him to ask to help with our meal. When I finally found him, my husband had finished and we ended up eating separately. After finishing he asked, anything else? We asked about dessert and decided on the mud pie! We ordered at 7:02. At 7:34 he came and said they are almost done making it. 7:45 it finally came and it was melted. I asked for a box to take it back to our room to freeze for later. We paid our bill and he picked it up while we waited another 5 minutes for a box. He came to the table with the box, slide it across the table. Never made eye contact or said anything even when I said thank you. He was very obviously upset. I have never been treated so rude or disrespectfully in any restaurant. We ended cancelling a reservation for my entire family for the next day. I was so upset with how Stuart ruined a very special evening and will not go back to be treated that way.
Small portions- had surf and turf- my tenderloin was 4 oz max- good service with friendly staff
I ordered three course special that includes catch of the day. The rice with it was dry, only seasoning to rice was soy sauce, fish was soft and seemed fresh but no other flavoring.
Good food, nice views, friendly service. We drove up to entrance and we assigned a parking spot. Amazing view wasted on parked cars.
Servers not maintaining COVID mask requirements. Touch mask then serve us without hand-sanitizing while placing silverware etc. Had 3 course local catch special, fish was overcooked and dried out. We've had Ops fish at two other locations on stay was great. Rice and veggies where simple and overcooked like a fast food Chinese restaurant. Coconut shrimp like pre-made frozen food. Overcharged on posted glass of wine price, first wine glass brought had smashed bug on rim of glass- like a mosquito hawk. Chair fabric VERY worn and falling apart. Walls very dirty appears as if not painted since the 90's. Glass Windows for sunset very dirty....Much better places on Maui to go to for same price or less.
Very nice place to dine. However, keep in mind the outdoor seating is right above the resorts pool, so expect noise and people in bathing suits as part of the ambience. Also, the only sunset viewing in from the inside side of the restuarant. The prices are on the higher side, the service was awesome.
Always a great place for lunch & a beautiful view.
Really enjoyed our last family dinner in Hawaii at this place, great sunset views! Kids friendly.
Outstanding food and service- I highly recommend- and what a beautiful spot!!!
Great dining experience! Lamb was delicious and so was the ono special. Desserts were especially good. Would definitely go there again
Great view of the beach and ocean. Service was very good. Small menu, but I liked that. Food was a little overpriced. Would definitely go there again to relax, enjoy the view and food.
Terrible service. Food was cold. Asked to be remade but they heated it up in the microwave. They tried to tell me it was a new freshly made Benedict but I put my finger through the egg to mark it and the manager then realized his kitchen deceived him and the guest. I will never return
We had brunch. The ambience was lovely except it was hot and the fans above were not working. My drink, pina colada came with no fruit just a straw although my fiancé had a bloody mary and he got 3 olives, celery and bacon..didn't make sense..I asked for a slice of pineapple.
The fruit bowl was great, good variety and fresh. When I got my eggs Benedict the english muffin was so hard I couldn't even cut it with a sharp knife. I had to send it back. The ham on it was like tiny pieces of the thin ham you put on sandwiches..not happy. The hollandaise was very good and so were the potatoes.
Kim, our server, was wonderful! But for $81 it was not worth it
Took so long for our food to get to us (about an hour from ordering) and it was room temperature. Unfortunate because the location is amazing.
My son and I shared Eggs Benedict and the Crab Omelette both were excellent! My Daughter-in-Law had the Avocado Toast and added the Salmon and fried egg which she loved. Her opinion is the Avocado Toast should include the Egg and or Salmon option on the menu. Regardless... all three meals were very good and perfectly cooked and your Bloody Mary is also above par!!! Mahalo for a great brunch!
