Nice atmosphere, food was good. Felt prices are high for the quantity of food that is given. Only 1 side provided and pay extra for. Side salad or vegetable. A restaurant to go to for special occasions but expect a large ticket. Our server was very sweet and attentive.
We enjoyed our time at the Chop House. It was a memorable evening.
We had a great time at the Chophouse! The food was great and we had a really good server. It’s a nice place for a special occasion as it is a little pricey. We’ll definitely be back!
I took my girlfriend to the Chophouse for our Valentine's Day date, and we both had a wonderful evening. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was fantastic. Thanks for making the night one to remember. :)
Our favorite place for amazing food in a romantic setting.
Food and service are very good but it is getting a little spendy.
We go to 4th Street Chop House for special occasions. The food is very good and is consistent. Our most recent visit was for Valentine's Day. The service was slow but the restaurant was full. It seems like the prices have increased significantly in the last year to so. We will still go here for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Food was outstanding, steak was perfect as was the halibut. The chocolate cake was delicious and tasted so fresh!
Good food and atmosphere but WAY overpriced as far as I am concerned.
The steak, salad, & wine were the best part! The sides were just ok. The desserts are very large portions! Manager on staff was not very courteous at all. Good thing the waitress made up for it. She was very sweet.
went on Saturday evening, very popular place, make reservations! server was awesome. food was delicious. great atmosphere.
The food left a lot to be desired. As well as front of house service. The hostess seemed to not know what was going on and seemed very stressed out. The room we were seated in was okay but outdated. Our server was prompt and attentive. The food though was not worth the $143 Bill when we could have gone down the street for a better steak guaranteed. The wine was wonderful. Although my steak had the texture of freezer burn. I definitely won't be returning or recommending this chophouse. You know what they say, a bad experience is more memorable that a good one.
Everything was good except our manhattan cocktails were a very light pour
Great as usual. Our meals were very good. Whenever we have a special occasion this place is always at the top of our list. The staff are great and always make our time there enjoyable
Our server, Sarah, was amazing. Food was good. Had to send back a very tough pork chop but was replaced with chicken that was really good. Sat close to the bar which had a patron who was loud enough to be considerably distracting but otherwise, enjoyed ourselves and will come again!
We always enjoy our visit to the 4th street Chophouse. It is our favorite restaurant. The food and drinks are top notch. We also like the fact that it is smaller, cosy, and warm.
Good cocktails, good wine, great steak, solid cheese/charcuterie plate. Service was excellent and we had the best table in the house, by the front window. Would definitely come back.
I was in town and took my daughter out for s steak. The Chophouse has really good steaks and they were prepared exactly as ordered. We started with the cheese plate. Nice selection of cheeses with an olive tapenade. To our surprise they had gluten free bread, a requirement for my daughter. The suggested wine paired wonderfully. My daughter had a blue cheese encrusted fillet. She said it was divine. My New Yrork strip was a perfect medium rare.
The hostess was friendly. Our waitress was a pleasure. All in all, it was a great dining experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.
There is so little fine dining in Loveland, I want to love the Chophouse but I don't. I love the ambience. I have eaten there twice now. The first time, my salmon was fishy and it seemed that they were trying to cover that with a sauce. This time, I had tournedos. I ordered them cooked medium, leaning toward medium rare. They were two average pieces of beef that were overcooked. If they cut their prices in half, this almost might be acceptable but at $35, it is not. Also, their side dishes are mashed potatoes, french fries and something else equally not up to a fine dining standard. So it goes, we will probably not try again.
We always compare every restaurant to chophouse and have lived here 8 years. The menu has barely changed in that time. Both steaks were cooked incorrect to our order. French fries soggy. Waitress was a very ungenuine person. Several awkward interactions made it an uncomfortable evening. We went out because it was super bowl night and we don't watch sports but the cooking staff kept coming out essentially yelling the score. We usually go to chophouse because its the nicest place in Loveland, but it just hasn't felt like it our past 6 or 7 visits. This last one seemed to be the worst.
The Chophouse is always fantastic. Some of the finest dining in the city! Excellent service, staff and of course their menu.
We are regulars and dine at the Chop House weekly. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent! It is a fun place to dine. I usually order a steak and my wife usually orders the Salmon.
We have been here several times. Each time we have a great experience. The staff does a great job in taking care of their guests, and are very knowledgeable about food, and wine. Each time we go, we enjoy our time.
The interior, alone, of Fourth Street Chophouse is worth the visit. Aged brick walls, high metal ceilings gave a warm atmosphere, and the noise levels were surprisingly low. A walk along the two-block street in downtown Loveland is also a treat, with great restaurants (222, Henry's) and shops and the Rialto Theater to visit. Zack our server was great and very accommodating. My wife's gluten-free risotto was excellent. The gluten-free bread was extra, but some of the best we've experienced outside of European restaurants.
I also enjoyed the very plump and delicious Japanese scallops with an accompanying side of crispy, (but a little bit overspiced) french fries. The mussels in cream sauce would have been better if the large mussels had been a bit less chewy and noy overwhelmed by the cream sauce, which made them very messy to eat, buried, as they were, underneath the sauce.
I have been going to this restaurant for four years. Their quality has gone down since the beginning. This is very upsetting because it was so good. I think the cook needs to take a little more time with the plating. It looks like they just plop the food on the plate and send it out. Also the temperature of the food is not correct. Fish is too dry... Steak is too done. I don't know what is wrong but they need to figure it out and correct the problem before they start losing business. Sorry this is happening!!!!
Fish entree not so great. Sides wedge salad & risotto very tasty. Bread basket doughy store bought baguette...not impressrd. Price point @ 4th Street Chop demands higher quality food fare. Wine choices excellent. Ambiance cozy & welcoming. Service also very good. Will return to order salad & sides☺.
Excellent Cedar Planked Salmon. The bread and honey butter are excellent before supper arrives. Nice attentive and efficient server.
Always fun. Great food, delivered fast. Great atmosphere.
Great service horrible food. I normally don't complain, but the price we paid for the food we were served was over rated.
Steak was served to one of the parties and they took it back and cooked another steak and comped us the dinner.
Over all food sucked!
The atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic and the service was good (not great). That’s where the accolades stop. The food was mediocre at best. My wife had crab and it was spongy. I had a steak and the flavor was bland. Also, there’s no bakes potato’s. I asked how he fries were prepared (thinking that I’d accept that as an option) and I find out that they’re frozen. That’s fine at another commercial establishment but not when you’re paying over $100 for dinner for two. I also had the misfortune of finding a plastic chard in my water (which I almost consumed). There’s great potential here but they need some serious help in the kitchen
