Great service horrible food. I normally don't complain, but the price we paid for the food we were served was over rated.

Steak was served to one of the parties and they took it back and cooked another steak and comped us the dinner.

Over all food sucked!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic and the service was good (not great). That’s where the accolades stop. The food was mediocre at best. My wife had crab and it was spongy. I had a steak and the flavor was bland. Also, there’s no bakes potato’s. I asked how he fries were prepared (thinking that I’d accept that as an option) and I find out that they’re frozen. That’s fine at another commercial establishment but not when you’re paying over $100 for dinner for two. I also had the misfortune of finding a plastic chard in my water (which I almost consumed). There’s great potential here but they need some serious help in the kitchen

As usual the beef dishes were done EXACTLY as requested. The sides were excellent, and the choices were plentiful. This time my wife and I noticed deep into the meal that the wine glasses were ever so slightly gritty, so they probably simply weren't perfectly clean. We decided not to speak up about it, but almost did - this is below the usual standards of this Chophouse.

Overall, though, the five of us highly enjoyed our choices, the preparation, and the environment. We'll return, of course.

We have been dining at 4th Street Chophouse for special occasions for ten years and have never been disappointed with the food and service. Highly recommend for their delicious filet mignon s and signature Mashers!

One of our favorite places to go in Northern Colorado! The food is always superb and the cocktails are delicious. The Chocolate Slab is a must for dessert (and my husband and I devour it every time).

We had a most wonderful server - wish I had his name to share! The caesar salad was overall very good but a little overdressed for us. The scallops were very good as was the planked salmon. Both were cooked spot on. The accompanying risotto was a little over cooked and did not have the richness we are used to when we make it at home. The chocolate cake was WONDERFUL...worth a trip just for dessert.

Overall a great experience. Only issue was the long gap between the time we were seated to the time we were greeted by our server, way too long.

My only complaint was for the money a vegetable should be included. As it was you had to pay extra to substitute for rice. However the steak I had and the halibut my date had were very good.

Food was not as good as the last times I have been. The $43.00 rib eye was disappointing. It was tough and very small. My husband has the surf and turf...his filet was very good. The potatoes we were good. We ordered the asparagus and I have never seen anything so pitiful in all my life. I wish I had taken a photo...they were so wilted and greasy. The drinks were good and the service, as always, was excellent. For a $168.00 bill including tip, I could have gone to Henry's, where the quality of food is as good and a lot less money.

The 4th Street Chophouse is, by far, one of our favorite restaurants. And we almost always get the same things: Cowboy Ribeye for her and the Bleu Cheese Filet for me, along with the shrimp and scallop appetizer. This last time I tried the Horseradish Filet - though I was skeptical when ordering, it also didn't disappoint - I may have found a new favorite.
The food there is always amazing and definitely worth our drive from Longmont. The service has always been spot-on as well. We can't speak highly enough about this place. If you get the chance, definitely go!

Only issue was a sense of being rushed to turn over tables on New Yeas eve. Actual got that vibe very early in the service and it continued throughout.

Didn’t offer desert or coffee we had to request it, brought the check with desert, thankfully the food was excellent as always.

I get it that it’s a busy holiday night for the establishment but that’s why you make reservations and you should never feel rushed out of your service, you pay the tab it should go a fast or as slow as you want.

still love the place may just stay clear on holidays from now on.

Previous experiences here have been commendable, food delicious, service primo, ambiance worth special occasion dining. This time noise level was intrusive, impolite, inappropriate for setting, food was just okay, served uninterestingly. However, service was amazing considering the overload for our server-- he was very professional and attentive. Satisfactory for impromptu dining, not sure if we will try again for special occasions.

Service was less than impressive. Hardly got checked on by server, water glass completely filled with ice (which sounds piddly, but try drinking that way with 2 people facing you while you're dropping $200 for a quick night out with friends ). I gave the food score a 3, mine was terrible but my guests' dinners were great. I had the swordfish which, you could tell by the taste and texture, had been in the freezer way too long. The three people I was with all had steak and each said it was very good. Probably worth it if you go for steak and wine/beer, definitely not if you go for seafood.

It was a good experience however our table was very cramped. We had reservations and figured they would have accommodations for our party of 6 but we felt wedged in. I don't think I would recommend people taking groups of more than 4. Otherwise it was good food. Drink service was unusually slow.

We always love coming here for a nice dinner. The service is always friendly, warm and welcoming. Good food, good drinks. It can seem a bit "tight" at times - not a lot of space between tables, which can make it a little noisy.

This was our first time to this restaurant. My wife and I made a reservation before attending a show at the Rialto and were most pleased with our choice. We started with the seasonal soup (my wife) and the shrimp cocktail. Both were very tasty and served at proper temperatures. For her main, my wife had the halibut, which she liked a lot, and I had the tournedos which were very tender and flavorful. We washed it down with a Meiomi Pinot Noir, which is a delicious wine. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive to our wishes and saw to it that we got to the theatre in time. The restaurant was full, probably with a pre-theatre crowd, but we were served timely. We definitely will return to 4th Street Chop House the next time we attend a Loveland event.

My wife and I have been to the 4th Street Chop House several time but hadn't been for a couple of years. We had tickets for the Rialto and decided to go to the Chop House for dinner before the show. We each ordered a Martinin since we think they have the best in Loveland. I had the Haddock with the risotto as well as a bowl of there mushroom soup which was one of the best I have ever had. My wife got the Horseradish filet, rissoto and mushroom soup. She gave me a bite of the filet and it was fantastic. Our waiter was excellent as was all the staff. Great food, great ambiance, great staff, great drinks. Couldn't ask for more.
