4th Street Chophouse Ratings and Reviews
I brought my wife here for our 15 year wedding anniversary. I called early to see if I could have flowers delivered for our night. Not only did they accept, when my wife & I showed up they had the flowers set up in a very nice booth which they had decorated the table to announce our occasion, and a card signed by the entire staff. 4th Street Chophouse has a wonderful attentive staff, the food is amazing (one of the best filets I have ever had) & most important it is a night my wife & I will remember for a long time (she still brags to her friends about that night).
Thank you 4th Street Chophouse for a memorable evening.
One of my favorite restaurants in Loveland...never lets me down...great ambience...tasty food...top notch wait staff...everything is done so very well here...I always make a point to stop in at least once when I come back to visit!
Always look forward to that next time...
Our visit was wonderful from start to finish! The hostesses were very friendly and were able to seat us a little early. Our waiter, Kyle, was awesome! He was very friendly and talkative, knew the menu and did not rush us to order or leave! The food, as always, was amazing!
This is our second time meeting friends at the 4th Street Chophouse and we have not been disappointed. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals. This most recent trip 2 of us had the blackened tuna which was delish. The other 2 had the halibut and crab cakes. The surprise for us this 2nd visit was that Sunday is a special wine night where the restaurant offers several selected bottles for free!! We'll be back
This place is nice, but I didn't like the food. It seemed like everything is drowning in something from the salad to the entree to the sides. The steak didn't have a sear on it and the crab legs tasted funny. The side of asparagus was assaulted with chunks of garlic and butter, the stalks themselves were thin and limp. The drinks were strong and the service was great, but the star of the show should be the food and it was a disappointment. It felt like fine dining, but didn't taste like it.
Best steakhouse in all of the Rocky Mountain Region. Beef is outstanding quality and can be cut with your fork. Seasoning and preparation is ideal.
Venue/atmosphere is classic and rich; like going back in time to a classic top-drawer restaurant in old Chicago.
Solid staff as well.
Not a single steakhouse in the Greater Denver area even comes close.
Very nice experience. On Sunday night, if you order 2 entrees, you receive a free bottle of wine. My filet with mushrooms was delicious. My husband enjoyed the lamb, although not the chutney. Because we were celebrating our anniversary, they brought us a lovely dish of creme brulee. It was very good. The nicest part of the evening was the delightful wait staff. Our server was a lovely girl from Fort Collins. She went out of her way to continually check and make sure everything was good. The prices are a bit high, but I would recommend this restaurant to all.
We have dined here many times and love it! We went for my birthday on Friday night and it was awful! The food was terrible ... the soup was very watered down it was lobster bisque but it was more like lobster broth. My filet was extremely fatty and I ordered it Med well and it came out very rare I sent it back twice to be cooked more and both times it came back still bleeding when I cut into it. The mash potatoes had no flavor at all and my fav mushrooms seemed to have been changed to a different kind of mushroom and tasted like dirt. Our server had informed us that the main chef had been out a few days and that may be why our food was off from the norm .. he told us sorry and he hoped it would be better next time. He offered us a free desert which we already got because it was my birthday. It was not worth $110 for a crappy dinner. Very bummed we just had a baby and it was our first night going out and it was also my birthday we excepted a much better experience from this place as we have enjoyed the food many times. Unfortunately we're going to have to take it off our date night spot. The food just isn't what it used to be.
It was great have been to many great restraints in the US this was able to compete with some of the best Great food ,super waitress except for tattoos ,would want her every time.Little on the high price side on wine by the glass but everything else was super we will be going here instead of fort collins from now on ,wish we could of seen some mgt to let them know how well their crew did.
Myself and the other three with me were NOT impressed. The service was great, food was just OK at best and not as high end as expected. We drove from Longmont and will not return to Chop house. Many other places on 4th street offer higher quality and much better price.
It's a chophouse, so the meat is very, very good. On this occasion my top sirloin arrived "medium" though I requested "medium rare". I'm not picky, just pointing out the accuracy of the kitchen. My wife's plate was exactly to her liking this time, plus we've never been disappointed on previous occasions.
I'm afraid I may have come across as difficult regarding the Bloody Marys :) but the second one by another bartender was actually more classic and closer to what I would call perfection. There's always room for personal tastes, of course.
This is not McDonald's, or the Olive Garden, or the Texas Roadhouse. It's a top-notch small steak house. Go, and see what excellent dining can be like.
I love this restaurant . It is a go to for us both in special occasions and just when we want a nice meal in a relaxing environment with great service and exceptionally great food! On this occasion there were 3 of us and we were all arriving separately. I was early - more than ten minutes so. They graciously allowed me to be seated early and were incredibly patient and attentive with me while I awaited the arrival of the others. We were there for a reunion - someone i personally hadn't seen in quite a few years . There was a change in servers in the interim and it was absolutely seamless - another great attribute of the restaurant . The server also comped a dessert in celebration which was both unexpected and so very very nice! Perfect evening - Thank you!
I've been eating here literally for years and have never had anything less that a great meal, including a perfect 8 oz filet, again and again. I like the onion straws too, not to mention the egregiously decadent chocolate slab cake. OK, the creme brulee is always good too. Come hungry. Leave happy.
My waitress Emily was super nice and the service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed my food and my wine but the price was a little high for the portion. I expected to pay a lot but maybe a little more food. I left hungry! Other than that it was an awesome experience and I would recommend it to my friends!
The hostess greeted us was very pleasant and addressed us by our name. Even thought the waitress messed up one of the orders she apologized and re-order the dinner. To our surprise they only charged us for one dinner. It was our 54th wedding anniversary and you made it special. We will be back because we were treated special.
