We came for New York-style brunch and were not disappointed. The food was delicious but what stood out to me was the quality of the service. You can tell this is a staff that likes where they work. I definitely will be back.

Not many veggie options. Pretty bar and decor. I had a salad that wasn’t chopped so it was harder to eat. Drinks were interesting and yummy

Birthday dinner & service very good.

Not really the restaurants fault but very unfortunate to have a group of bachelorettes who destroyed the atmosphere by shrieking & screaming almost the entire time we dined. Think there is a point to ask those who are ruining others evenings to quiet down or leave to a more appropriate strip club or bar.

Very disappointed. The restaurant called few days before to confirmed app and asked if there was any food allergies. I confirmed that my daughter has extreme dairy allegories. The person acknowledged it but when we arrived for the Easter brunch my 7 yrs old daughter could not eat anything as there was butter on pretty much everything.

Our waiter Caleb was funny, knowledgeable and made us aware of a food that may be processed with peanuts (as one of our guests has a peanut allergy). I loved the space and the food was delicious. Lovely spot outside on a beautiful day.

Made reservations and was told we would be outdoors which is a really cool atmosphere. We ended up being seated at a table for 2 right above the stairs all by itself inside. Completely secluded from everything and not exactly what you want when experiencing night life and food scene in Charleston. Server was good but he was clearly overwhelmed with having the entire upstairs section to himself which included a large party. I may try it again but there’s too many places in Charleston so will probably be a while

We went specifically for an item that was listed on the menu for several days ahead of time. Only to be told at the restaurant it changes daily, that would've been nice to know while looking at the website for three days prior to our trip. Not only that, but the starter we ordered, the beef tartar was way too salty. And my drink was not good at all. We did not order entrees due to these issues and instead went to another restaurant for dinner.

The ambiance is great, the chairs, decor and open aspect give a gorgeous result. I was just very disappointed in the food and drink.

From the moment we arrived we had an exceptional experience. The server was friendly, but respectful and very knowledgeable. Both the sommelier and manager came over to see how we were doing. The kitchen is open so you can see what's being done and it's all being done with loving care

Went to 492 for a nice dinner out. The ambiance was really nice. We were sat at the chefs table and were able to see all the action going on in the kitchen. The food was delicious and served immediately after it was done cooking. I had the pork shoulder and the flavors were tremendous. We felt the server might have forgotten about us a time or two as our waters were not refilled very often and we waited quite awhile after finishing to be offered any deserts. Overall, we would definitely go back again and it was well worth the visit.

It was the Sunday morning after St. Patrick's Day, and several members of the staff had clearly made a late night of it the night before. For that reason service was a little slow. But the menu was fun, and very good once we got it. We didn't mind really because we were in no hurry and the back patio area is a great spot to linger over brunch. I've been before and will definitely go again.

A truly wonderful find for our last meal in Charleston for Brunch on the way out of town!
My Hot pastrami sandwich with Latkes was melt in your mouth with killer flavor. The Matzah ball soup was one of the best I've ever had.....again not basic or routine! If you're looking for the usual breakfast or brunch items don't bother, but if you're up for something better, this is your place! Rabbit omelet, baked eggs with lamb & harissa, & the Short Rib soft scramble were delightful as well.

Very disappointed. Alot of money for food that isn't tasty or abundant. I know its small plates but that was ridiculous. Plus the menu is very limited - we ate a few small plates and left to go get dinner. Sad.....

Appetizer clams were great. The burger was the best we have tasted in Charleston and we have had many, and the fries were crisp and hot. Highly recommend. Super cozy table for two with high back wing chairs kept conversations private. Great bar and high tops as well. Very nice singer on the night we were there (Thursday) -we didn’t see him at first and thought it was a CD.

The vibe of this place is very cool. Our table was on the second floor, which is quieter and more intimate than the bustling first floor. Our waiter was attentive and personable without being intrusive: just the right balance. We recommend the Disco Sour for a tasty conversation-starting cocktail! As a vegetarian I would've liked another interesting entree option: the roasted cauliflower was fine but not special. The roasted brussels sprouts starter was terrific, though.

I was generally disappointed in the food and left hungry although we ordered both appetizers and dinners. Menu seemed as they were trying too hard to be 'foodie' but execution was mediocre at best. Service and ambience were exceptional - it's a beautiful restaurant.

Our server, Ben, was excellent. Answered our questions, watched our table without being intrusive. A really nice job. Our appetizer was a cheese I didn't know with toast with sort of a tomato chutney(can't recall the actual name at the moment). We shared one and really liked it. We both had the potato soup with Trout roe. I liked it, my lovely companion did not. Her complaints were too thin, and bland. I thought the roe made the dish. She had the Coulotte(a sirloin dish) and was quite pleased with it. I had a Tile fish dish that was quite tasty. Nice pleasant evening.

We had a wonderful Valentine's meal from the special menu prepared by the chef. Three days later, my husband is still talking about the rabbit, mushroom ricotta dumplings he had as a starter course. We loved every bite of each course and we'll definitely be back again. Thank you for the terrific service too!
