It’s a tough time for anyone in the food and beverage industry...this includes being a customer too as the experience isn’t the same as prepandemic I felt the service was great, the food was excellent, and the experience was what this married couple that hasn’t had a child free night since late 2019 needed. I appreciated the efforts made by everyone and look forward to visiting again.
My first visit. 47 Scott is a nice place to dine in. The food is good and the atmosphere is very nice. The food won't disappoint. I tried the surf and turf, which is a filet mignon and vegetables. The Filet Mignon was cooked nicely and the taste was divine. The calamari (appetizer) was just ok and the Cioppino was very tasty. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The patio seemed to be a great place to gather with friends. The inside dining room is a good place for date night (except if getting a table by the food window. You can hear everything / Avoid it if you can). The place is clean and the staff is very helpful. Overall had a good experience and will definitely come back. Next time, I'll definitely try the Chicken Saltimbocca and some of their delicious mixed drinks.
Food was Meh. Wine service ... well, the waiter brought out the entirely wrong bottle (white instead of a red), then way overfilled our glasses. Had no idea how to deal with the wine service (though he did read is some tasting notes), and they happen to be out of stock on better bottles during 1/2 price Wednesday. That was not a big deal though, it was the food that was disappointing. There are too many other great restaurants in Tucson for us to be back.
I always order whatever the market fish is and it’s always delicious. Cocktails are always on point. Sonora and Donald are amazing bartenders.
Had a great dinner at 47 Scott. They have a big cocktail menu which I liked. The service was right on, all of my needs were serviced very well. Definitely try it out!
Went downtown to support first Troubadour Thursday’s. 47 Scott has patios street side and a more private and intimate out back. PEI mussels excellent app to share. Bistro steak and filet both excellent. 2 pages of craft cocktails to choose. Great night. Troubadours showed up around 8. Highly recommended.
The service and food was excellent. They were attentive to our needs without being over bearing. We had only come for drinks and appetizers before an event and were seated promptly and were never waiting long for drink refills or the food to arrive. Our server made great suggestions and kept our water full and empty plates off the table.
We were seated near the door, which is never optimal. The host did say he could seat us once another table had cleared, but by the time that happened we were halfway through our meal, so we declined.
There had apparently been a fire in the kitchen, and the smoky smell lingered.
The food was lovely and perfectly seasoned. My Old-Fashioned was very good, but the orange peel garnish was skimpy, and I have to say I miss getting a drink with a proper jumbo ice cube in it.
Coffee was excellent, service was very good.
Over all a good experience. Food was great, ambience not so much.
It is such a pleasant experience having dinner in their enclosed rear courtyard. Very private and quant. As usual our entrees were excellent and the bar beverages top notch. This is one of our favorite places in Tucson.
Have a menu that tries to be a little elevated but don’t quite pull it off. Whole experience hurt by covid restrictions, of course.
We had high hopes for this venue, the menu looked good online so we thought we would give it a shot. We received a call 20min prior to our reservation confirming that we were still coming in.. When we arrived there were a number of open tables but we were placed in the booth right across from the kitchen pick-up window (This should be the last table sat during service) . So from an ambiance point of view all we got to hear all night was the kitchen staff and plates clattering… We ordered the charcuterie board which was well presented and had a good variety… we then ordered our beverages and the one wine I asked for was out…no big deal,I ordered something else. The Server was a bit overly attentive, we felt like we were being rushed to get our entrée orders in… When our Entrees came to the table right away I noticed that my Ribeye Steak which was supposed to be Mid-Rare was steaming… it was very much grey and well done… I asked the server to re-fire it and I did not even get an apology… when my Steak came back it was cooked properly but my guests were already finished eating and the consensus was that though the presentation was great both my guests felt the food simply lacked flavor… and I do agree that my steak had no seasoning on it…it went from the refrigerator to the flat top to my plate… The highlight was the Banana Cream brûlée, it was the best thing we had all night.. Our Meal was a mis… the server should have told the manager our table was having issues so that he could swing by…that or he did and the manager decided to skip our table all night..
Everything was great. We would have like to sit away from the kitchen, but we were not allowed to move. However, the food was excellent.
First time here for a long overdue date night. Atmosphere is nice, service was good. On a recommendation I ordered the grilled cheese appetizer, which is not anything I ever order at a restaurant, but it was really good! Had the calamari too, but that was overcooked or something. Entrees were very good.
Great food, great service!
We went to 47 Scott for our anniversary and it was wonderful! The ambience of the back patio was so sweet and comfortable. The food was delicious. We highly recommend!
Way to Smokey in there my eyes were burning
Great cocktails and attentive friendly service (Brandon). Out door patio a wonderful and safe oasis !!
Great drink menu !!! Exceptional meal and service!
Great evening, especially during the pandemic. It was our first time out at a restaurant since October. Only negative was the wine list. Very limited. My husband had to order three times before a red was available. The chardonnay by the glass was not good and only one option.
Sweetest folks work here! Their wine is so good! My husband got a fancy Japanese cocktail that was incredible. The Cioppino and chicken linguine, with bacon wrapped dates for dessert. So good!
47 Scott, is the best restaurant I have been at in the Tucson area, when visiting my mom. It was well worth the ride into town, for what was an excellent meal, in a comfortable location, and what turned out to be an exceptional staff. Everyone was wonderful, the menu had amazing options, all delicious. I will always go to 47 Scott, when I am in Tucson.
great staff! Brandon was awesome!
I loved the relax atmosphere. The food and drinks were good.
Great restaurant and fabulous food. Waiter was knowledgeable and a great Stewart.
We had a great experience in our first visit. Food was delicious and service superb. We’re happy to support local restaurants
I actually went here on accident, thinking it was something else, but it was phenomenal! We will be back in the future :)
We took a table on the back patio, tall fence & walls giving privacy and quiet but only adequate atmosphere. Asked for and promptly got a propane heater lit for us - nice & toasty! We arrived early enough for Happy Hour and enjoyed the chefs board - wonderful cheeses - and signature cocktails. Their menu is very craft-cocktail forward! Lots to choose from.
All entrees were very good. The least exciting was the mozzarella and shrimp salad but it was still fresh & well-made, just a bit dull. The Chefs burger was excellent, nice frites (not typical frites in my opinion, they were thicker-cut but still good). My husband has the Bistro Steak which was good but slightly over cooked (which he expects, he really likes medium-rare to be quite pink). But the star of the show was my market fish of the day, which that evening was a pan-seared mahi-mahi (cooked perfectly!) served over a vegetable risotto cake with broccolini. All good but what made the dish exceptional was the sauce which I can’t even describe just to say that it was garlicky and buttery and amazing! Came with 4 large, perfectly cooked shrimp and I ate every single bite. Dessert menu looked nice, but we had no room left. Our server Brandon was polite and not intrusive but right on point. Overall, very nicely done for a very acceptable price. We’ll be back!
Everything waa absolutely wonderful! Found this restaurant on Open Table, look for new place for happy hour. We had 2 apps, drinks and split a hamburger. It was more then enough food and everything was good. They have a very impressive cocktail menu- I think they had every cocktail I could think of, a lot of old time favorites. The service was great too. We plan to be back very soon🙂
Wonderful service! Food was great and the atmosphere:) we love it here and definitely!!
It was so comfortable to sit outside in the private courtyard to enjoy our dinner. Our server spaced out all of our courses and we were never rushed.
Best birthday celebration 🎊🎉
The room was dark to the point that it was hard to see the menus and the floor was very sticky throughout the restaurant. Everything about the atmosphere was very nice if it would have been a bit brighter and the floors were not sticky. The food had good flavor but everything was just a little bit over cooked. The first appetizer (bacon wrapped dates) was sent back because it was burnt. Not just a little bit but burnt to the point of being completely inedible like a charcoal briquette. The refire was slightly better but still over cooked to the point of being charred on one side and tough. The Chicken Saltimboca entree had great flavor but the chicken was over cooked once again very dry and a bit stringy. The second entree we ordered was the ahi tuna salad and the tuna was cooked to the point of being dry and so hot when it was placed on the salad the greens underneath it were wilted when it was placed on the salad. The service was great, very friendly staff. Attentive where you knew they cared but not that you were being bothered. Cocktails were good. The Manhattan was on the sweet side. Not sweet vermouth sweet but added ingredients sweet and served in a champagne saucer which was unexpected and the glass was sticky to touch. Overall the flavors of the meal were nice but the attention to detail (important details) and the fact that everything was extremely over cooked made our meal just mediocre. I would go again to see if the cooks were just having a rough night or if overcooking is how they do it because a perfect cooked meal would have made the experience great.
Phenomenal dinner for my boyfriend and I. I’m a vegetarian and got the cauliflower steak and it was delicious. Banana creme brûlée for dessert was the absolute perfect end
Great place for a date. With the pandemic, it was pretty empty so it was quiet and the ambiance was perfect. The staff was attentive and made our experience awesome!
The food and service were both outstanding! We originally made a reservation to sit on the patio but it turned out to be a lot cooler than the heater could handle and the staff was super accommodating about finding us seating inside. The food was incredible! I am still thinking about the Chicken Saltimbocca that I had. Great job 47 Scott!!
Exceptional service and high food quality. Server was super kind and attentive
Was a bad experience! This place has really poor quality food. The burger was cooked poorly, no flavor, dry!
Grilled cheese was a mess! And the salads were awful far from fresh and they for sure use canned beets! Beware this place is worth skipping for a better option!
Food wasn’t as good as it had been on many visits before. Everything was dry. Waiter seemed overwhelmed and walked by us several times as our drinks had run empty.
I have gone here at least once a year for the past 3 years. It is always a good experience. And excellent menu for happy hour, appetizers and mains. The dessert menu however is dull and too few offerings.
Amazing cocktails and dinner! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary!
