We took a table on the back patio, tall fence & walls giving privacy and quiet but only adequate atmosphere. Asked for and promptly got a propane heater lit for us - nice & toasty! We arrived early enough for Happy Hour and enjoyed the chefs board - wonderful cheeses - and signature cocktails. Their menu is very craft-cocktail forward! Lots to choose from.
All entrees were very good. The least exciting was the mozzarella and shrimp salad but it was still fresh & well-made, just a bit dull. The Chefs burger was excellent, nice frites (not typical frites in my opinion, they were thicker-cut but still good). My husband has the Bistro Steak which was good but slightly over cooked (which he expects, he really likes medium-rare to be quite pink). But the star of the show was my market fish of the day, which that evening was a pan-seared mahi-mahi (cooked perfectly!) served over a vegetable risotto cake with broccolini. All good but what made the dish exceptional was the sauce which I can’t even describe just to say that it was garlicky and buttery and amazing! Came with 4 large, perfectly cooked shrimp and I ate every single bite. Dessert menu looked nice, but we had no room left. Our server Brandon was polite and not intrusive but right on point. Overall, very nicely done for a very acceptable price. We’ll be back!
Everything waa absolutely wonderful! Found this restaurant on Open Table, look for new place for happy hour. We had 2 apps, drinks and split a hamburger. It was more then enough food and everything was good. They have a very impressive cocktail menu- I think they had every cocktail I could think of, a lot of old time favorites. The service was great too. We plan to be back very soon🙂
Wonderful service! Food was great and the atmosphere:) we love it here and definitely!!
It was so comfortable to sit outside in the private courtyard to enjoy our dinner. Our server spaced out all of our courses and we were never rushed.
Best birthday celebration 🎊🎉
The room was dark to the point that it was hard to see the menus and the floor was very sticky throughout the restaurant. Everything about the atmosphere was very nice if it would have been a bit brighter and the floors were not sticky. The food had good flavor but everything was just a little bit over cooked. The first appetizer (bacon wrapped dates) was sent back because it was burnt. Not just a little bit but burnt to the point of being completely inedible like a charcoal briquette. The refire was slightly better but still over cooked to the point of being charred on one side and tough. The Chicken Saltimboca entree had great flavor but the chicken was over cooked once again very dry and a bit stringy. The second entree we ordered was the ahi tuna salad and the tuna was cooked to the point of being dry and so hot when it was placed on the salad the greens underneath it were wilted when it was placed on the salad. The service was great, very friendly staff. Attentive where you knew they cared but not that you were being bothered. Cocktails were good. The Manhattan was on the sweet side. Not sweet vermouth sweet but added ingredients sweet and served in a champagne saucer which was unexpected and the glass was sticky to touch. Overall the flavors of the meal were nice but the attention to detail (important details) and the fact that everything was extremely over cooked made our meal just mediocre. I would go again to see if the cooks were just having a rough night or if overcooking is how they do it because a perfect cooked meal would have made the experience great.
Phenomenal dinner for my boyfriend and I. I’m a vegetarian and got the cauliflower steak and it was delicious. Banana creme brûlée for dessert was the absolute perfect end
Great place for a date. With the pandemic, it was pretty empty so it was quiet and the ambiance was perfect. The staff was attentive and made our experience awesome!
The food and service were both outstanding! We originally made a reservation to sit on the patio but it turned out to be a lot cooler than the heater could handle and the staff was super accommodating about finding us seating inside. The food was incredible! I am still thinking about the Chicken Saltimbocca that I had. Great job 47 Scott!!
Exceptional service and high food quality. Server was super kind and attentive
Was a bad experience! This place has really poor quality food. The burger was cooked poorly, no flavor, dry!
Grilled cheese was a mess! And the salads were awful far from fresh and they for sure use canned beets! Beware this place is worth skipping for a better option!
Food wasn’t as good as it had been on many visits before. Everything was dry. Waiter seemed overwhelmed and walked by us several times as our drinks had run empty.
I have gone here at least once a year for the past 3 years. It is always a good experience. And excellent menu for happy hour, appetizers and mains. The dessert menu however is dull and too few offerings.
Amazing cocktails and dinner! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary!
We hadn't been to 47 Scott in a long time, but it was still as delicious as we remembered! The patio is comfortable, the tables are spaced out well, and they were following health guidelines. The mussels and frites are a MUST! All the cocktails were amazing as well. It was so nice to have a great date night out while staying safe!
Great vegan options!
The food and service at 47 Scott are great!
We loved that we could bring our dog to dine on the patio.
We had a lovely time eating at 47 Scott. The cocktails are always the bomb! The food was super delicious and we felt very safe sitting on the back patio. Our server was tremendous. Thanks for being there 47 Scott! We are so happy you are back!
It was great to get back into one of our favorite restuarants, we have been going there since they open. The service was great, the food was very good. They were really concern about our safety during the pandemic. Thhank you very.
The food was excellent . I enjoyed the Chicken Saltimbocca which was wonderful. Also the shrimp mozzarella salad was great also.
The food and service were excellent. The menu offers many options from meatloaf to Cippino. We were with another couple so we tried several of the items all of which received rave reviews.
The restaurant itself is a little off the beaten path but worth the effort to get there. Ample parking just across the street and they do a great job of social distancing and Covid-19 precautions.
We had a wonderful dinner on the back patio. Food and service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful service and food.
We had a fine meal at 47 Scott. Their patio is dog friendly and the food was terrific. I had the burger and it was perfect. My partner’s chicken wrapped in filo dough was delicious, but a little heavy. They have a massive bar menu with many specialty drinks. I was surprised they were not willing to make a Bloody Mary. Not fancy enough for them? Whatever. I had an old-fashion instead and it was fine. My husband’s martini was good.
Lovely patio, delicious food, great service and super safe!
Great experience and amazing service. I will definitely be back
Never doubt the mixologists at Scott & Co. Best cocktails in town.
We are adding this to our list of Tucson top restaurants for when we visit. The food was amazing, the service top notch, and the patio was safe and soul-warming at the same time. We had a great family night as we visited our UofA Wildcat.
My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this restaurant but unfortunately we left disappointed and won’t be returning due to the subpar service and food we received...
We ordered the grilled cheese appetizer which was okay, nothing special. It’s something that can easily be replicated at home. They didn’t gourmet it up at all. Then we ordered the kale Caesar salad which was very good! Beautiful dish and fresh. My boyfriend got a cocktail which was one of the best spin offs of an old fashioned he has ever gotten. Very tasty! Then the entrees.... I ordered the seafood market dish which had 5 pieces of shrimp, 5 very small mussels and a 4-5oz swordfish served over a coconut sauce and polenta. The dish was so bland. The sauce didn’t taste like anything let alone coconut! The seafood didn’t taste seasoned at all. It was cooked correctly but lacking seasoning. It was the most bland seafood dish I have ever received. I told the waitress and she stood there quietly thinking of what to say to me and said she would be back. She came back and brought me a butter garlic sauce which was good to dip the shrimp in but didn’t pair well with the swordfish or mussels. I would have preferred to been offered a new entree instead of a butter sauce. My boyfriend ordered the meatloaf which had great flavor but the green beans weren’t trimmed.
The service was also lacking. We had two different waiters bring us food that we never ordered.. they looked very lost and our waitress was just okay. It felt like the staff was lacking training and the food wasn’t made with love or detail.
it was ok. maybe because we were the first couple to arrive but it was not at the level that I was expecting.
We had a lovely dinner, we wished there had been a breeze . The drinks were delicious and the appetizers of crab cakes, fries, grilled cheese, and calamari were great. The waitstaff was very nice as well
Food was Wonderful!!
Love 47 Scott!
We dined recently at the newly reopened 47 Scott and were pleasantly surprised. The menu was revised. We hadn’t dined there in quite a long time, primarily because the menu never seemed to change, as is typical of nearly all Tucson restaurants. There are now rotating butchers cut and market fish entrees. I chose the latter, which was a delicious and perfectly cooked grouper over a risotto. My cocktail —their signature tequila based “vagabond”—and appetizer—the Brussels sprouts with bacon—were equally good. We dined in the back patio. We suggest that fans (for heat) and speakers (for music) be added to make the dining experience more enjoyable . Thanks for the great meal, and welcome back!
The food was mediocre, the service was terrible. Because of this, the price was too high. Will not return, cannot recommend.
This restaurant is a bistro. A short menu with some changing specials served by a knowledgeable staff. It is a small place with some big ideas in food.
My wife and I both tried the risotto with scallops. One of the best sea food risottos we have ever had- and we are older people who have eaten widely!
Salad with beets and goat cheese was good too.
Wine list is ok but not very exciting. We do not think of Tucson as a wine town. You can buy many wines served at better restaurants here at Wine Direct- not a recommendation.
Do try this place soon because it depends a lot on the Fox Theater that is closed for the covid-19 virus...
This was our 3rd time at 47 Scott and Scott and Company. Everything about both places is great.
Excellent drink menu ! Food is very very good and service was exceptional!
We had great meals but a minor detail with wine glasses....heavy chunky glasses detract from the the pleasure of wine with or without a meal. I did ask for a different wine glass & our server was great at responding. In a quality restaurant why even have those chunky cheap glasses?
Understated but with a lot of charm. You have to look closely for the street entrance because it’s even more understated. In the 1920’s, this is what a speakeasy probably looked like... This place is a welcome change of pace and I’ll definitely be back.
This was our second time there and all I can say was better then the first.
Great food, Great Service............Keep it going.
