    Excellent fish. Some clams unopened and one bad oyster, but she crab soup, rock fish and branzino were excellent. Perfect service.

    I have eaten here before and was looking forward to sharing an outstanding dining experience with an old friend who was in town for the ODU football game. Dinner was delicious and the server was very attentive but the dessert was subpar. Gelato is suppose to be creamy and decadent. I got the mint chocolate Gelato and it had ice crystals, which meant it had been in the freezer too long. Not a great way to end the meal.

    My husband started with the Lobster Mac n Cheese (it’s a side but they were kind enough to let him have it as a starter), I had the crab soup, both excellent. My husband had the Tuna and I had the Spinach Dahl. His Tuna was as exactly what he wanted. Definitely a big hit. The Dahl was presented beautifully and tasted even better. My husband also had a side of scalloped potatoes, I ate more then half, REALLY good. We got dessert to go. On our next trip back to Norfolk, this is on our list of favorites. AND, the service was professional, attentive and well versed in the menu. All around excellent dining experience.

    My truck was towed from a parking lot behind the building to the right where I was instructed to park. Cost me $175 on top of the $190 I spent on dinner for two. Have been to 456 many times but likely won’t return

    456 is a superb choice for dining solo, a couple, or a small party. The menu offers a variety of palate choices at a reasonable charge. And the assortment of liquid refreshments is top-notch. The new decor is welcoming to all and the service staff are experienced and provide excellent service. It is my eatery of choice in downtown Norfolk.

    We were told that remodeling had been done in the resturant. Our table was very DUSTY especially the gold candle stand on our table. There were 2 flies that got on our nerves. We had 4pm reservation and didn't get phone until 4:45. My opinion that was a long wait. We were trying to get to the festival by 5:30

    The restaurant was a very nice restaurant and wonderful setting.the food was really good. The only thing is I guess the server kept messing up on the order. I ordered the crab dip and I order these appetizer fried shrimp my plate came out with the mashed potatoes the broccolini, which I didn’t want to send it back to the back. The Cooke actually had to come back to our table before the food came out just to check with my coworker regarding her fillet that she ordered because I’m guessing that the waitress writted it down as the fish which she didn’t want to fish she wanted fillet medium well.

    Sunday night, limited choices, out-of-towners wanted fish, so we gave it a try and it was terrific! Food and service, excellent. Wine list limited but well-curated. We had a great time.

    456 is our go to place before any event we have near Chrysler Hall. The service is always great, drinks are delicious, food always wonderful. We always look forward to meeting there with friends prior to any function nearby. Highly reccomend .

    I made a reservation for 7 PM, we were there for 45 minutes before we got any food at all. It was 8 o’clock before we were serve dinner. Food was amazing hot and tasty. Unfortunately for the server and us, the food was taking forever. We won’t go back for a while….not for that much $$$.

    Great dinner for our anniversary, we were treated very well and everything was great. They surprised us with dessert for our anniversary and it was very sweet. Overall a very good meal in a nice space that was quiet and clean.

    The service was superb! The She-Crag soup was amazing! The crab stuffed flounder was good, but I expected it to be better. The crab cakes were on the dry side, but the sauce improved the taste.

    Definitely for the ambience and the service, I would go here again, but for the food I am hesitant! I enjoyed the service rendered and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Maybe I just came on a very busy day (Mother's Day) but the food was not tasteful at all! I came with my spouse and daughter. We ordered from both the brunch and dinner menu. The food did not taste bad, but it had no taste. I am not referring to salt because I do no prefer table salt. I am referring to flavorful vs no flavor at all. For the price, the food was not good. I was offered another choice and that too was again, not flavorful. However, I took my leftovers home and gave it some flavor. Because I like the atmosphere and enjoyed the service, I will probably give this location another try.

    We were very disappointed and dissatisfied with 456 Fish. To start, the way were out of 2 drinks and offered no other options. The service was very slow and when we got our entrees they looked delicious, but that’s as far as it goes. The food was so bland and inedible. I left my entire plate with only 2 bites taken out of it. There was no mention of it or questions from the server about how we liked the food. The only reason I didn’t complain to the manager was because the service took so incredibly long that we almost missed the show we were seeing at Chrysler Hall so there was no time to speak with the manager. This was our first time to 456 Fish and we will not be returning. I don’t mind paying good money for good food, but this experience was a lot of money for terrible food.

    We love this restaurant. We have season tickets to all of the musicals at Chrysler Hall, so we always have dinner here before every show! The food drinks and service are always fantastic. They have a special menu for the nights Chrysler Hall has a show so it’s nice to know they understand we have a slight time constraint and make sure we are able to enjoy our meal timely. Their She-crab soup is probably the best we’ve ever had! and I love how their ceasar salad isn’t over saturated with dressing. Many times we share a soup, salad , entrée and dessert so that we don’t have leftovers as well as over eat before we go to the musicals. Their cocktails are tasty and it’s easy for us to have a couple before we leave. Our other favorites include the fried shrimp dinner, the crab stuffed flounder, tiramisu and crème brûlée!! This place is always a yes for me!!

    Wed nite is date night so 2 people can select from fixed price menu for $50. Overall food is very good and service is excellent. Could use a few more wines by the glass options especially reds.

    456 is one of my favorite spots to dine in Norfolk. Convenient to both Chrysler and Scope. Food, service and atmosphere is always great! Love their Happy hour.

    Salmon for two guest was overcooked. Grouper was great❣️There were six of us so I think he got a little impatient with our request. At one point he said “I only have two hands” after we asked a second time for honey for tea. Nice birthday surprise plate written message.

    There were two couples and we had the date night menu. We had the fried shrimp appetizer and it was excellent. The other couple had the eggplant rolatini and it was tasty but just warm. My wife and I both had the bone in pork chop and it was perfect. We had the cheesecake for dessert and it was just ok. The wine included with the dinner was fine. Great value. Can't believe they were not packed.

    Our waitress Kenna was spot on with perfect recommendations and attentiveness. Everything we had was delicious, especially the Cajun Grouper, and we will definitely be back.

    Good food with extremely slow service. It is nice not to be rushed but, with a sparse crowd, it seemed like the wait time between courses and awaiting drinks was excessive.
