Excellent food and atmosphere, as always. Never disappoints.
Cape May has a time honored restaurant i 410 Bank! It has been may years since we visited this location. In previous years we enjoyed this stop. Now many years later we were impressed with the ambiance , service and quality of food. The specials were wonderful and the regular menu proved solid . Service and delivery was just right! Would recommend to friends and family.
We hadn’t been here in years. Sorry that we waited so long to come back. There are a lot of restaurants to visit in Cape May but we will be back to this one sooner than later.
Great food, terrific service and all around perfect dining experience
This is a very special place. After having one meal there we were so impressed with the quality of the experience that we reserved a table for a second night as soon as we left. The cuisine was creative; each dish especially well plated. Every entrée and appetizer was exquisitely seasoned and accompanied with unique and flavorful sauces. Coming from New YorkCity, we did not expect to Cape May to have such high-quality dining. Kudos to the chef, the sous chefs and the wait staffs
Very delicious. Loved the voodoo shrimp and chocolate mousse cake.
Everything was amazing...start to finish!
The food was exquisite and our waiter, Paul, attentive and friendly! Always creative and reliable chefs!
Always good, always dependable. THE pick in Cape May!
Waited a long time to go this fine restaurant food was excellent as were the staff .. hopefully the next time I wont wait so long,. My wife and I had a great meal...
Perfect evening in Cape May. We have never visited before surly will return the next time we come to the Cape.
Fantastic menu. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Overall excellent experience.
Was there this past Saturday with my Fiancé and I have to say it was one o the best times we’ve had. Jeff our waiter was phenomenal with everything gave us all the ingredients to all the entrees which were absolutely amazing . We need to get back there and try everything on the menu. Food, service, and atmosphere were awesome.
We are both very busy and don’t get out much lately so this was a huge hit for us. Nothing worse then trying to squeeze time in with your lady and having the night busted because of a bad experience.
410 Bank Street is now One of our favorites if not our new number one. Thanks for contributing to our perfect weekend bank street!
In One word - Glorious
Enjoy every time we dine there!
Seating tight. Dishes creative. A hit or miss. Limited choices for the non-adventurous.
Great restaurant! The food was amaizing and the service is great! The place is a total GEM!
My husband and I have dining at 410 for 30 years and have never been disappointed. The food is always good and so is the service. We look forward to their opening every spring. They did change from their deserts being prepared on site to buying them. That is a bit disappointing but still a great spot.
Dining at 410 Bank Street is like a vacation during a vacation. You wander down the slate path
under overgrown vines and suddenly you are in a kind of culinary dream world with visions of
New Orleans and Key West . The same servers are still here after (it seems) thirty years and they guide you through the exotic specials with a practiced style; Ann our server even remembered what I had ordered on our visit last summer. It's more personalised than my club in NYC--and the food is still OMG great. Try to visit on a weekday night and beg for a table in the garden.
If this were Japan 410 Bank Street would be venerated as a National Treasure. HInt-- if you haven't tried the gumbo or the crawfish bisque or the voodoo shrimp put it on your bucket list now. This really is the best meal in well maybe everywhere.
We visit Cape May in late April and 410 Bank Street is usually not open so we were pleased to see it open Thursday - Saturday. The food is very creative and, having recently been to New Orleans, compares well to that city's best. The special of blackened salmon medallions and the Cajun shellfish gumbo were very good as were the appetizers of crayfish bisque and grilled asparagus amandine. The service was great. This is a true BYOB and Cape May wines are no longer offered. I recommend this to anyone who likes fresh seafood with a Cajun twist and plan to return.
Our family has been dining at 410 Bank Street for over 20 years and every meal has always been fantastic! The service is top notch and the food
Is delicious. It is not just our favorite restaurant in Cape May, it is our favorite overall. I would eat here every night if I could! We dined here on the second night the restaurant was open for the season and you would have never known it had just reopened as everything was running smoothly. Our favorite server Ann was her usual friendly and efficient self and we were very happy to see her back for another season at 410. For appetizers, I had the Crab Terrine and my husband had the Porcini Mushroom Soup which was topped with crab meat and both get rave reviews. I had the Voodoo Shrimp for my entree and my husband had the Pork Chops which were the special roast that evening. Needless to say, the food was outstanding and we are already looking forward to returning next month to our favorite restaurant.
Been coming here for years, always a great meal and excellent service, a true favorite!
We went on the last day it was open for the season. Food was great but the maîtred's was mean and argumentative. I just asked for quarters for parking.
Menu looked amazing! I had a special with homemade pasta, seafood sauce, and topped with lamb chops. Food was full of flavor and very good. Desserts were superb!!!
If you want great food and service, 410 Bank St. is the restaurant for you. The menu is outstanding with both turf and surf selections.
Just a lovely dinner all themed creole-Cajun with distinctive unique tastes all prepared with care and presentation. Very attentive service and a very pleasant dining experience.....a nice special occasion dinner...pricey but well worth it. Nice that you can bring your own wine as well.
The salmon dinner was delicious. We were brought a "customer appreciation" appetizer of a filet of antelope in a reduction glaze ! What a delightful surprise !
Excellent food and value! Service was also excellent - attentive without being overbearing! We enjoyed this dinner very much!
Second time we've been to 410 Bank Street. Food is creative and delicious! Would definitely
go back again. One of the best restaurants in Cape May.
Despite asking to be seated in the front of the restaurant my wife and I were seated in the main area. Food was ok. Portions were generous. The noise level was excruciating. Just shy of making your ears bleed! Having dined here a number of times over the years we will never return.
As usual, the food and service were outstanding! Always a very special place for birthdays and anniversaries. A very special thank you to our waiter Dean.
Truly a wonderful dining experience. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. The chef was accommodating to my dietary needs which was much appreciated! We brought our favorite wine and spirits!
Very nice atmosphere food was excellent at the snapper special was great walking distance to the center Cape May good choice
Excellent meal, excellent service. ...................................excellent excellent excellent
Excellent meal. Attentive server. Will definitely go again.
Overall I would say this was a very average dining experience. We were greeted by an apathetic host and seated in the back dining space which was too hot and without either the ambiance or the music heard in the front dining room. When asked to be seated in the front dining space the host barely acknowledged but did show us to another table promptly.
The waiter was bored, uneducated on the menu and unable to answer simple questions.
The food was good but not amazing. The salmon was served with partially cold sides and the key lime pie was 50% frozen.
Did not meet my expectations.
Was there end of September for restaurant week for the prix fixe menu for a special night out on vacation. Came highly recommended. Had the swordfish medallions, mako shark creole, and key lime pie and my friend had the gumbo. Everything was absolutely amazing and the scattered seatings made sure everything was made fresh. Only recommendation would be to have a pitcher of water on the table for those, like me, who have trouble with spice.
excellent overall. Great food and Service. great location.
great food, ambience and value for the money. loved the atmosphere.
also had terrific waitress (Yurga). Very knowledgable and friendly
“We are extremely sorry... we are running a little behind, and are doing our best to get your table ready. There are some chairs in the garden area that will help with your wait”. Is what I would have expected to hear when I arrive for a reservation and my table is not ready. It’s not a huge disaster when a popular restaurant miscalculates the turnover speed.
HOWEVER, after giving my name, what I heard instead was “wait outside and we will get you when we are ready”. I then asked how long the wait would be. I was told “your table has just paid, and I can’t push them any faster”. I thought this was a strange reply considering my question was pretty normal. She was irritated and very brusque. She looked at me like I was crazy for politely asking how long the wait was (when I had a reservation). Bizarre to say the least, and not our normal experience at 410 Bank Street.
We stepped outside into the humid 85 degree weather. There was one chair.
It became very apparent that “our” table was not really our table at all. We watched several parties of 4 leave (we were a 3).
We then realized that all the other people waiting outside actually had reservations too. They weren’t walk in diners.
After a half hour we were seated. No apology for the delay from our reservation time.
The room was very loud. Louder than normal.
Our waitress was excellent, as are all the waitstaff at this restaurant. The meal was inspired and flavorful as always.
The food and especially the sauces are so well created, that this is our go to restaurant many times a summer.
We will absolutely go back and do recommend 410 Bank Street, but our experience did make a slight blot on the otherwise impeccable track record we previously encountered over the years.
Hopefully the hostess will enjoy her time off during the “off season”, and come back happier. They close in two weeks for the season.
We were seated in the lower level.. Noise was terrible mostly because of one lady at a close by table..No one would tell her how annoying she was
