    Relaxed dinner with friends at an outside table. Food was fresh, flavorful and hot. Although prices were a bit steep, the service & food were good. Relatively quiet corner of the establishment allowed conversation and relative privacy. Greg was attentive and knowledgeable.

    Our Server Andreas was professional, knowlegeable and totally had an eye on our table. Burrata appetizer is always good here, just love it, Both entrees were yummy, sea scallops cooked to perfection, so was the catch of the day. This visit was so far the bestest one. Keep it going.

    Too bad. Took forever to get a cocktail. Actually almost finished the dinner before cocktail made it out. Scallops were underwhelming. Nice outdoor area.

    Really weak meal. Service was friendly and wonderful. Charcuterie board was nearly inedible, salad was a pile of lettuce with hardly any toppings, lobster rolls rubbery and unseasoned. Drinks lackluster across the board. Such a shame! Great location and our waitress was awesome. But zero redeeming things about the food. And we paid more than any meal we’ve had in St. Pete during the entire weekend. Do not recommend!

    We have been die hard fans of 400 Beach for almost ten years!! Even so much as to have our rehearsal dinner here the night before our wedding. Unfortunately the food had gone down since that day in 2020. Understanding they have changed hands with management, the food has suffered as a result. When we entered the restaurant, we were not greeted by anyone and waited at the hostess desk for a little while, until someone finally showed up. We were seated and our server was pleasant. The menu has also gone through massive changes and doesn’t portray the once “elevated experience” that we used to have at every visit. Our visiting family even mentioned the dramatic changes and their disappointment to what they once remembered. While the restaurant will always remain in a special place in our hearts, we will think twice about returning

    The service was absolutely horrible. Considering the price for the meal, the server should be more attentive. We had to ask for drinks and the specials. The food was okay, but not worth the price.

    Mothers Day brunch with mom and daughter today. I understand buffet style is often just okay and food is over cooked but it was okay, however, the flys outside made eating impossible. Cocktails were good but not great. Overall, very average experience

    Attended their Mother’s Day Brunch and was sat immediately upon arrival. Our waiter was ready with water and menus, and within 10 minutes the entire family had their food from the buffet. Great service and views of the water! While holiday experiences at restaurants can be hit or miss, 400 Beach Seafood & Taphouse managed the increase in traffic with grace and ensured a phenomenal experience was had by all!

    A couple of things were missed for the reservation. It might have been miscommunication but it was for an engagement celebration. We brought balloons and rose petals earlier in the day so it could be decorated BEFORE we were seated to surprise the new couple, so I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t done when we got there. I did appreciate the employees coming out later with it and throwing the rose petals around but it wasn’t our original plan. The service was pretty slower than usual, we didn’t get silverware or napkins until maybe a half hour in ( and we ate bread that was sticky with no napkins) overall it seemed to be an off night not sure what was going on. I understand it happens.

    We have always enjoyed 400 Beach. We have eaten lunch, dinner and brunch there. The food is always fresh and beautifully presented. Inside or out, we never hesitate to dine there!

    Not impressed. We say outdoors because the music was loud inside- the tables were broken and dirty. Lots of ants coming from inside of the table. Food wasn’t memorable. Lots of better options closer to the pier.

    Ate on the patio, bartender waited my table, excellent service and drinks. He knew the menu and was able to sub out the fish on the sandwich for grouper. He even made recommendations for restaurants near the area I was traveling next. The food was excellent.

    Being seated outside on a beautiful day was perfect. The wait staff were all accommodating and we were treated very well no rushing . Food was delicious across from the bay made it all worth the trip to that historic neighborhood. We will come over again and check out the fine arts museum across the street. Oh and were treated by seeing a WWII ARMY biplane fly over.

    Not the best experience. First ones there but took an hour for the food to show up. Others came, ordered, ate, and left before us. We were only a party of 4. A bigger party came in when we ordered and left before our food showed up. Not sure what happened but it could have been better.

    For the expense food would need to be far better for me to recommend your place. We were so excited to dine there. The letdown in the quality of the meals we received was a major disappointment. All expenses for two approached 200 dollars. This includes one glass of wine.

    Since a year ago, the menu has dramatically changed. There are fewer wines to choose from and most are no longer well known labels and perhaps cost less for the manager. The Sauvignon Blanc was unknown and extremely tart. Good wines of this type do not overwhelm the client. The lobster roll is good but I consider it lunch fare. The cioppino was not distinctive. It was more like a soup with a lot of pasta shells, a few small mussels and a couple bits of fish. There were no clams, shrimp, or tasty morsels of fish. It was not worth $32, the price of the lobster roll. Overall the change in management and the kitchen as well as the wine cellar has been a backward move. I would advise clients to go elsewhere if you want really great seafood and wine, esp. for the price we paid.

    Our visit was for a b'day. Food was very nice. The only complaint I had was that our food was not served in the sequence we ordered/expected. Instead of the calamari coming out 1st, our salads were served. I asked for the wonderful ParkerHouse rolls served with our entree, they came out as an appetizer. Otherwise, our meal was very good Plus, thank you for the nice chocolate b'day dessert at the conclusion of our meal.

    The menu seems a bit limited. Check before you go. Several items we ordered seemed generic such as the calamari and the blackened fish sandwich. The sandwich was very bland and appeared to not be blackened at all. Bun was not good. Served with tartar sauce. Wasn’t impressed and overpriced. Service and ambience were good but food quality was meh at best.

    The food for lunch and the service were terrific. The valet parking next door is a plus. It was cool and windy so not busy at all. only 2 or 3 tables at 12:30. Maybe it's busier at night. I hope so because it's a very good restaurant.
