The 40 steak and seafood has 5 unique dining rooms, all named after different characteristics or industries that make North Dakota a great State. Each room has its own theme with different furniture, fireplaces, ceiling, flooring and artwork giving each room its own unique and different feel.

We hosted a party and were treated with wonderful and thoughtful service. Our guests were delighted and impressed with the delicious food and service. Deeply Grateful to Bailey who was our server, he did an excellent job and was considerate to our every need. Alan, the chef greeted us with warmth and friendliness. We Love having date night every Friday and encourage our friends and family to dine at 40 Steakhouse and Seafood.

Shame on me. I had a poor experience at this restaurant the last time I dined and thought it might be different this time, I was sadly mistaken. Service: Though the restaurant had very few diners, and my server was one of three in the room I was in which only had three tables and he seemed to be franticly running around like it was the busiest night of his life. He seemed very frustrated and made decisions to leave menus and plates and empty glasses on my table which was a bit odd and confusing. Food: I started with a bacon wedge salad which was good. The salad was followed up by a $99 cowboy ribeye cooked medium rare. The seasoning choices were quite surprising and I searched for a salt shaker on my table as I just wanted to finish the meal and leave. For their most expensive and prestigious steak on the menu, I was not at all impressed and do not recommend it. I found myself regretting my decision to walk to dinner while wishing I'd opted for a chain steakhouse in the area. I had a side of asparagus which came out cold but were cooked with a crunch that I absolutely love. I also had their signature hash browns which were simply the same hash browns I'd expect from every breakfast diner in America. I pass through this area quite often and stay a close distance from this restaurant. I will not come back or recommend it to others after two poor experiences.

Food there really wasn’t much taste to it the dipping sauce for the lobster tails was very not tasteful couldn’t even taste it

The food was overcooked but tasty. The prices would be worth it if the food were properly cooked and if service were more prompt. We weren’t upset about the experience. I’m happy to pay top dollar but this restaurant did not quite make the mark. This was a so-so food experience.

I wasn't to pleased with the meals. Hamburger meat was falling apart having it hard for child to consume. One of dishes of the 2 the steak was not all great. Quality was fair, not sure if I would try again.

We have dined at this restaurant many times, and each experience has been nothing short of spectacular! On our last visit, we indulged in the butter fish and succulent lamb chops—both dishes were absolutely divine! In a moment of culinary inspiration, the manager, Alan, suggested we order both entrees and elegantly arrange them on a stunning serving platter. The presentation left us in awe! Our server, Lucea, was a true gem, her attentiveness making the evening even more delightful. We capped off our incredible meal with a shared Brandy Alexander, crafted with real ice cream. It was the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable dining experience!
