We enjoyed our evening at 4 Eagle Ranch. The food was good. A normal buffet. The sleigh ride was short, but nice. Beautiful scenery. Very nice people. The live music was awesome. Checked this off our list.

Fun, Fun, Fun! What a unique and pleasant experience! Everyone was so friendly from the time we walked in the door, and the sleigh rides were oodles of starry, cold fun! The proprietors were kind enough to let my daughter pet the horses, she just loves horses! The appetizer chili was every bit of deliciously fantastic, and oh so satisfying! The entire venue was gorgeous, spacious and had absolutely perfect ambiance! Live music flowed, delicious smells abounded, and the dinner was abundant and with a variety of festive choices for all palates, from the picky, to the hangry, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options also. I can't believe we hadn't heard of 4 Eagle Ranch before, but it was every bit worth our time, drive and the money! It was really a bargain in my humble opinion. Do be careful of deer on the road to get there, those scenic little buggers like to frolic about the roadway with no regards for motorists or their own safety. If you're in the area of Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, or even Aspen, you really should consider stopping by and seeing what all the fuss is about! I don't believe anyone could possibly be disappointed in an evening spent here having food, fun and a pleasurably quaint experience both fun for the whole family or even as a romantic option, the sleigh ride is perfect! Enjoy folks!

Almost everything was perfect for my and my husbands romantic Valentine's date at 4 Eagle Ranch! The people, wonderful - the food, delicious - the sleigh ride, amazing with great stargazing - the price, very reasonable considering what you get in the area you are in - the location, so so cool! The only negative was the transportation to/from the ranch provided by them. The driver was wonderful and on time, but it is a large van which was maxed out with 14 people, which means you may not get to sit next to your date for the ~30 min there and back, and on top of that a large group with 5 children, 4 of which were preteen boys, happened to be on our ride and they were loud, obnoxious, complained constantly, played videos loudly on their phones, facetimed at max volume other boys, and talked about cocks (not kidding) and all sorts
of other inappropriate things that sort of make the whole "romantic date vibes" fade away, and the 2 adults in their group did absolutely nothing to try to get them to calm down and be respectful towards the other people sharing the ride. So, that all being said, I would HIGHLY recommend 4 Eagle Ranch to anyone, just be aware that the ride through them may not be the best way to begin and end a romantic evening, you may get stuck with wonderful people, you might get stuck with a group of preteen boys. Once at the ranch, all is well, but for us personally we will be booking private transportation in the future.

Heck yes I w would Recommend for Eagles to a friend! The food, the company, entertainment and the service was all outstanding. Great little hidden gem more people should take advantage of. My husband even want me to get the recipe for chili that they have because it was so good. Very accommodating for families of all sizes. It was a very blended group and was amazing!

Our evening at 4 Eagle Ranch was one of the highlights of our family vacation. This was the second year in a row that we have been here, and we all agree that it will become a family tradition. We've been in the winter both times, and the sleigh ride is such a unique experience for the adults and children alike. The staff is amazing, all so friendly and helpful, it's like being at dinner with your friends. This is the second time music was provided by Bert Fonte, and he is just awesome, playing and singing all night, fun for dancing or just listening while you eat. This year, there is a new chef, and the food was delicious, from the chili (vegetarian and buffalo!) while you wait for dinner service, to the main buffet of steak, salmon or roasted chicken with great vegetables to accompany, and cobbler for dessert! One of the best things about 4 Eagle Ranch is a non-profit foundation, and money goes to support a number of charities in the area, and other places. Worth every penny for a memorable evening.

I would recommend with conditions. Our experience was not great, it was barely good. The facility was great, food was very good but the service was a challenge. The hostess was very polite but always making an excuse for problems. We arrived early (at 4:45) due to weather, there were 11 + a baby in our party & we were told 'not a problem, we have you all set up (they showed me the table)' I explained we would also need a high chair (they had 11 chairs at our rectangle table), I was told 'no problem, we will get you in early, in about 15-20 minutes & I will text you'. We waited until 5:50 & no text so we went in & found they had moved us to a round table with 10 chairs CRAMMED together. I told the hostess again that there are 11 + the baby & her solution was to attempt to stuff another chair AND the high chair in around this round table. I told her that wasn't acceptable, so they moved us back to the rectangle table. I was told their internet was down so they couldn't run the credit card, I told them I wanted to use a different card than was used to book. We were seated finally & told there is salad & chili bar, but that we would be waiting for more people to show up to go on the sleigh ride & it could be awhile, at this point it is around 6:15. The others showed up around 6:40 & we all went on a 15 minute sleigh ride. Now back for dinner, good food & entertainment. Due to weather, we couldn't stay for s'mores & another sleigh ride so its time to pay. Internet still down so they can't run the card, they were able to manually enter the card into their system. Called me after we left said the system didn't save the number, asked me to call with number when we stop for the night, called the next morning, no answer, left message. Found they charged the original card, specifially told them NOT to do that. Enjoy.

This is a great experience to take family and friends to. It has all the authentic feel of a good old fashioned mountain ranch getaway. If you’re looking to be wined and dined like you’re at the Four Seasons, then this isn’t for you. If you want some hearty, tasty home cooked food with hot cocoa and chili to warm you up after your crisp air sleigh ride, with the sound of some live music over the crackling of the massive fireplace, then this is it!

I booked the reservation for five of us as a surprise for my family. All they knew was that we were going out to dinner on Wednesday night after skiing. I am now my family's hero. The whole experience was top notch--two sleigh rides and food that was absolutely first class. We hope to make it a family tradition.

We visited 4 Eagle Ranch on our week-long vacation, all the way from Charlotte, NC! The hosts at the Ranch, especially DeWayne, were ALL so welcoming and friendly! The sleigh ride was fun, under a blanket of stars! Dinner and music by Randall McKinnon were both awesome! Our family always looks for things like this to do on all of our vacations, and 4 Eagle Ranch did not disappoint! We can’t wait to hang the Christmas ornament we bought in the gift shop on our tree next year, to commemorate our trip! Thanks for a great time!

While the food was good for the price it was not worth it. As well, the sleigh ride was cut short which started the evening off with a big disappointment.

4 Eagle Ranch did not disappoint. We had a party of 6 adults and were seated right by the singer, but it was not overly loud and we were able to talk and hear each other. The sleigh ride was amazing! The food is served buffet style and was very good, but was a bit cold by the time we got to it. Delicious hot cobbler and chili though.

It was our second Xmas eve at the Ranch with our children. What can be more magical then going on a sleigh ride, hearing jingle bells, counting the stars, sitting by the fire, listening to acoustic music, and eating delicious food on Xmas eve or any winter night of the year. It’s like Christmas every night at the ranch. Must experience.

Way overpriced for what you get. Staff was wonderful and friendly! But the ride was maybe 10 minutes, dark so not anything to see, food was poor quality. Had hoped to really do something special for my two kids for Xmas, but this really missed the mark unfortunately. They were less than impressed, and after spending $85 each (plus left a generous tip as not the staff’s fault), we left still hungry and the food was not worth eating and the sleigh ride was extremely unimpressive. Sorry. I never leave reviews on things, but had to in this one. I lost $400 for this, and that’s a substantial amount of money for me. Would not ever recommend to anyone.

I can’t say enough about our experience. We were literally transported into a winter wonderland that made the Christmas season come to life! Randall had my kids up and singing Christmas carols within minutes, my husband and I were enjoying chili and cocoa by the fire, and the sleigh ride was magical. You have never seen so many stars in your life, and the horses are magnificent. Anyone who is planning a mountain vacation should include this on their agenda. You won’t regret it!
