We call it the “collective kitchen.” For the menus of 3800 Ocean are inspired not only by the local abundance of South Florida’s renowned crops that thrive under a hospitable climate, but by the regional flavors that stir the souls of our collaborative team of chefs. Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.
Great food and awesome ambiance. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the waves.
Great food! Very well done! I found the portions a little small for the price. Cocktails again were a little pricey, but again, very well done. Absolutely no complaints with quality!!! My only reservation for recommending 3800, was the fact that, their online menu wasn't even remotely close to the same at the time we were there. Waiter said the online wasn't just wasn't updated yet. That unfortunately gave us the feeling of being dupped. Especially since it was mother's day.
Nice valet parking welcome. Special Mothers Day rose gift to my wife with seating. Nice buffet lunch special including desserts. Too much to list. Nice job.
Unfortunately, restaurant did not plan ahead for our reservation and sat walk ins which broke up the amount of tables they needed for our large party. We waited over 20minutes to be ushered to a table where seats were crammed in between columns. Didn’t even fit. The whole point of making a reservation, especially for a large party is to avoid this. There were many items missing from their usual breakfast selections. Restaurant was more focused on their upcoming brunch than on
Great spaghetti and meatballs! This restaurant always has delicious entrees and the view of the ocean from the restaurant is beautiful. Singer Island is awesome.
Food was phenomenal! Had the grouper. It was one of the best fish meals I ever had! Yumola!
We stayed at the Marriott and while the morning breakfasts here were great, we joined for dinner and had a bad experience. We went for my wife’s birthday dinner and the service was very disappointing. I would definitely recommend for breakfast if staying at the hotel, but would not come for dinner again on our next visit.
3800 was a great spot for our anniversary. Staff was very accommodating. Food was excellent. For starters we had the PEI mussels. I had the Osso Buco , my wife , the Bronzini. My wife is very picky about restaurant food quality and she was very satisfied, as was I. Alcoholic beverages are pricey. Next time I’m on Singer Isle I’ll definitely return to 3800.
It was the Easter Buffet...and I was shocked when I got the bill and it was approximately $100 per person. The food LOOKED very appealing.. but that is where the good news stopped. Most of it was lacking any flavor. The worst part was the deserts...they were so so pretty on display and tasted terrible.
The parking valet group were slow and disorganized. I would never go here for dinner again.
We went to 3800 Ocean for a quick lunch on our way to the airport. We arrived on time but had to wait for the hostess to finish up 2 telephone conversation before she could accommodate the party in front of us. The restaurant was otherwise very slow; only a few tables around and the servers were moving about trying to look busy. Finally, while the hostess was still on the phone, an older server came and sat the group ahead of us and would have sat us too but by that time the hostess finished her call.
In the hostesses' defense, it wasn't her fault that she was on the phone. Whomever called asked stupid questions about what was on the menu and whether they can make reservations to come to the bar. The hostess tried to accommodate as best she could.
Upon seating down, we noted that the table wasn't 100% clean; whomever had cleaned it did so in a rush. We ordered food and then waited 24 minutes for the food to arrive. During this time there were probably 4-5 other tables in the whole restaurant.
The food was not bad; one of us had a burger, another wings, another soup and another had salad. The service was basic; the server did not make any effort to preempt the slow preparation of the food and only apologized briefly when he brought the food over.
All this happened from 11:15 am - 12:15 pm. The whole restaurant was not very clean; they had just finished serving breakfast and the buffet was still somewhat open. It was also loud, not just a few rowdy kids but also servers who set and reset their station with little regard of loud they were. No one really gave a damn we were eating there.
I will never go back to such a place; it may be OK if you stay at the hotel, but do not make an event (lunch or dinner) out of it because there are so many other places so much better than this.
Annual birthday breakfast. Food is very good, ambience is second to none. Fran is the only server we will ever see there, he is FANTASTIC!
The food was amazing! We sat outside to be by the beach, but it means you are also by the pool, which is a little odd for a nice place. But I would highly recommend and definitely go back.
We sat outside and it was very nice. The food was delicious and the servers were very nice.
Birthday lunch after using the spa
Great place awesome view great food service was excellent definitely going back again.
Food was delicious and setting was perfect. Staff seemed to be struggling a little.
Food was good and wait staff was adequate. However, prices of food and
drinks are extremely over the top. Ordered a bourbon on the rocks and was charged twice the normal rate for the bourbon and then an extra $2.00 for the "rocks". That is absurd. As a Marriott Platinum member I can honestly say I will not spend another dime at this resort.
Wonderful waitstaff and great chef! My lunch was delicious as always no matter what I order! Dessert was heavenly! The ocean view while eating is beautiful! (After a spa day, I usually treat myself to lunch or dinner after I’m done! I live across from the Marriott in Palm Beach Isles! Excellent valet service as well! Thanks for contributing to a heavenly much needed SPA day! 😊 See you all again, hopefully, very soon!
Service was outstanding
Staff was most gracious.
Nice presentation, excellent quality.
Even if we had breakfast there, they would not let us on the beach! Said it was for the clients at the hotel! What were we, then? Somewhat undelicate.
Very dark dining
Great view, service and food.
Very disappointed in the menu selections. I will say that the staff was attentive and courteous. We travel a lot and almost exclusively at Marriott properties we were very disappointed with this restaurant.
Kreative Küche mit ungewohnten, neuen Kombinationen! Ein Gewinn. Lokal unterkühlt, Service eher tiefer Standard!
Have eaten here a number of times and it never has This is a very good restaurant with a nice menu selection.
Bad service, bad food. It’s basically a Marriott hotel restaurant. For the money, it falls very far short.
The dining room was like a meat locker, ridiculously cold. The extremely limited menu was extremely overpriced. We will not be back, nor will we recommend 3800 Ocean. We were very disappointed.
First night of 5; decided to eat at hotel....limited menu for me. Very nice young staff. Felt like restaurant was missing half of the furniture..?....you think you’ll get great views but no. Food was good but wouldn’t really go back...
We made a reservation and were seated quickly and greeted. Restaurant has open kitchen concept so was relatively loud. I prefer quieter places and on top of that they were playing loud rock music. It took about an hour to wait for food. No one came over to ask if we needed anything, we had to flag someone down to get drink refills. Food was good, but pricey. We knew the prices before we went in but did not expect for 40$ the monk trunk had a piece of fish and a couple of small shrimp. It was mostly potatoes and corn. It’s a pretty restaurant but would probably not return
Fantastic food and service. Food was very flavorful and just right. Leftovers were still great! Especially with the extra toast crips to sop up the wonderful sauce.
Great wine selection
Valet parking was nice but hectic. Overall impression of hotel entrance very nice. Greeted and seated on time. Sat outside. Full moon but lighting reflects off glass and really couldn’t see ocean. Corvina a little dry but ok. Service very good. Had a good time but Won’t hurry back
The ambience the food and the service was all very good. My biggest complaint was the fact that I was not told when I made my reservations that they were going to be having a price fixed menu for Valentines Day which was over $100 per person plus tax and gratuity included. This was an embarrassment for me as I had made reservations for 12 people who were expecting your regular prices. I spoke to our waitress about this problem she told me there were no options. Therefore I had to asked her to put $50 of each persons bill on my tab to keep from upsetting my friends.
Waiter spilled juice from appetizer all over shirt and shorts of one person in our party. The waiter brought me the wrong meal. By the time the correct meal was brought to me, the other diners in our party were nearly finished with their meals.
Valentines dinner. Fantastic food and great service!
We picked up our order coming back from airport. Great food and service
Dinner: Steak was delicious, wait staff was good. Drinks were expensive. Breakfast : was disorganized.
We were here to celebrate our friends birthday and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and Jennifer who was out waitress did a fantastic job. We will be back.
Feels like in diner , not comfortable seating
Casual good food for lunch. Great view !!
