350 Main Brasserie Ratings and Reviews
Service was exceptional - staff was very kind that our group was celebrating a special occasion and provided complimentary desserts. Food was superb. Ambience was "elegant casual" and our dining experience was wonderful in all regards.
The menu has changed since last winter and I was a bit disappointed with the main dish offerings. I was glad to see the tuna tower still on the menu - it is excellent and I highly recommend it! For a main dish, I look for a high quality, perfectly cooked fish with light sides. I had the trout which comes with cheesy grits. I asked for roasted vegetables instead of the grits. My trout was overcooked so I did not even finish it. The roasted veggies were tasteless. Fortunately, my friend didn't care for her Indian spiced vegan dish - which I thought was excellent - so I ate that and was fulfilled. But I would love to see the menu have more vegetarian and fish dishes that are lighter and healthy without grits or pasta as sides. Also, no excuse for a upper end restaurant to ever overcook fish!
On other hand, I love the atmosphere - especially when get a booth - and our service from both the bus attendant and wait staff was excellent!
We are locals and this is one our favorite restaurants. We had the Green Salad, the lamb sausage , and mussels for 1st course. All excellent. The mussels are one of my favorites. Two of us had the lamb which was absolutely outstanding done to perfection, one the pork chop again excellent, and one the trout perfect. I think this was the first time I haven't had scallops at 350 Main but stepped out of my box and had the lamb. The scallops are always excellent. Thank you all for a wonderful evening!!!!!
I was expecting traditional French cuisine but it seemed more Noveau American. The food presentation was okay but not precise. The sauces were sloppy not interesting. But we liked sitting by the window and the service was very good. The restaurant interiors looked dated and felt like a sports bar instead of a quaint French bistro.
The food was a little oily for my taste and the vegetarian dish was way too oily. Only 1 vegetarian dish. We had a coupon which made it worth it, but if we hadn't had a coupon, I would have been more disappointed about our meal. The corn was good, the cauliflower was oily, and the fries were meh. I won't be back.
An extreme disappointment. Maybe the top chef is away for the summer? Tomato gazpacho with lobster salad for $22 was a bowl of cherry tomatoes and a pile of breadcrumbs, with literally no liquid and no lobster! Scallops main dish had to send back because scallops were clearly days old and had gone bad. The restaurant didn't charge us for either at least but that's not the point. Sorry but at these prices it just HAS to be a lot better
We were very disappointed in this restaurant especially for the price. The Tuna Tartare/Poke was not fresh and tasted fishy. I got the scallops and there were 5 scallops, which I was excited about, but I only ate only because they were cooked poorly. The bread on the table was very good and the Caesar salad was good, but other than that all our entrees were mediocre at best.
Please, please, please bring back the gluten-free fried chicken! That is one of my favorite dishes in all of Park City and was heartbroken to see it off the menu. I had the other chicken on the menu (main dish) but it suffered by comparison. It was still a nice evening and we'll be back....but would love to see the GF chicken back on!
We return every year - creative menu, great food, great service, comfy seating with great view of Main St. Love the tuna tower appetizer!! Trout with cheese grits was amazing. My husband loved his New York Strip and thought crispy fries were the best fries ever!!!
350 is an excellent restaurant with creative tasty dishes and a nice ambiance. Unfortunately, there was a large party celebration during our dinner that was boisterous and overly animated. The only complaint is that the restaurant is that they allowed them to carry on and on and on. Too bad... I would still recommend going there, but be wary, its pricey.
We were not pleased with our experience at 350 Main Brasserie. The food was very expensive for what it was, and when we made 2 substitutions (plain mashed potatoes in exchange for blue cheese mashed potatoes on one dish/ french fries in exchange for mashed potatoes on a different dish), we were charged $8 per substitution. There was also the smell of burnt food throughout the restaurant for most of our meal (we were seated in the back toward the kitchen.)
It was a waste of time and money for below average food. Our food took an hour to get to the table, and during that time there was very little interaction with our server. We had two tired children with us, so we asked our waitress for ice cream for them while we were still eating. This seemed to annoy her, she came back with the ice cream and for lack of a better word, "threw" it on the table. Two out of the four entrees were ok, but not fantastic, the other two were below average. Stay away.
