   We took our mother for Mother's Day brunch. We had a reservation and we were seated upon arrival but then had to wait quite some time before our waiter welcomed us. The waiter did not offer us anything to drink so I asked him if there was a complimentary mimosa with the brunch and he then offered three choices. When he came back, I asked what was on the buffet, he was not quite sure, he mentioned a few things and said he would check and be right back to let us know. When the waiter came back and shared what was on the buffet he also offered one egg Benedict made fresh in the kitchen, which two of us ordered. The buffet was set up was in a private meeting room, quite a walk from the dining room itself. The food stations were dirty and not well tended to. They were also spread out too far from one another. The food from the chaffing dishes were not hot. The beef carving station attendant was very accommodating and the fresh made Egg Benedict was excellent but we were disappointed in the brunch itself. Once we sat down with our food we did not see our waiter until he presented the check. Our dirty dinner plates were not picked up until a supervisor came around right before our check was presented. I was embarrassed for the hotel.

   Easter brunch adequate but not impressive. Omelets made to order were nice. Need pastries/ sweets, whipped cream, some smoked fish, French toast and mimosas to make it really worth returning.

   We had a reservation and got seated immediately. The view was great. Food was all delicious. Had the cheese brûlée appetizer, skirt steal and salad with salmon on top. All was delicious!

   Best experience as usual. Very quite and perfect place for a date night. We loved their special menu and of course their old fashioned. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Cookie Sundae was the perfect finish. Please keep it on your menu:)

    The food and service was great! Love coming here. Only issue is I had no idea there was a “special” menu for Valentine’s Day and couldn’t order anything other than that menu. A heads up about that would’ve been nice when we made our reservation.

    Staff was great, view is great. Food was ok, better than we expected. They had a fun Valentine's menu available. Sparkling was drinkable, chardonnay I ordered was undrinkable, cab was drinkable. It truly is hotel food and service, although everyone was lovely to deal with. Too bad because the venue is great for Cedar Rapids.

    I hadn’t been to the top of the five in many years and was blown away by it’s new, upscale look and feel. Excellent service, exceeded my expectations. Food was cooked to perfection. Well done 350 First. We will be back.

    The service was good, attentative and pleasant. The food was acceptable but not worth the money. The pork stew was delicious and they made a good Old Fashioned. Nice quiet place to talk with friends.

    Very beautiful place. You can see all of Cedar Rapids. Kinda wish there were more options on the menu but it’s ok. :) food is pretty good for the price. Great experience

    My boyfriend’s family always treat us to nice meals at this restaurant whenever we visit them from Des Moines. Food and service is top notch. However on Friday, the restaurant was totally full prior to the concert next door. Our server forgot to bring us salads with appetizers as we asked him but his manager was quick to bring to us and was very apologetic about it. All 6 of us were able to enjoy our food and cocktails. Tonight Pasta with salmon and Filet mignon were cooked perfectly but soup was kinda missing something like more salt. Overall we had an awesome date that finished with a free beautiful birthday cheesecake. Thank you

    They must have been understaffed. We did not get waited on for 20 min, and then our entree never came out. The worst part was that no one came over to check on the table for drinks or an update on food status. Super disappointed. Atmosphere was great and the appetizer was good, but unfortunately the poor poor service made the whole experience terrible.

    We went there for my husband birthday. It was a very quiet place which was nice. Food was good (some was expensive some was average) $-$$$. My husband had a really good cocktail as well. Very friendly overall staff. And great views

    Unfortunately our girls night dinner experience wasn't great. We were in good company and had fun but unfortunately being understaffed kind of ruined it for us. We didn't get half the food we ordered, but the food we did get, came out hot and was very good. Our waiter was trying as hard as he could and he was fabulous but the poor guy was the only one working and I think he just was in over his head and I know it's not his fault that things happen the way that they do. Kudos to him for showing up and trying. We had a show to get to that we ended up being late for because there was a mix-up with our bill but in the end they ended up not charging us for some stuff and did what they could. I will go back because I have had good experiences there and the food is great but unfortunately this time that wasn't the case. Hopefully they can get the help they need and deserve.

    We enjoyed a delicious meal (New York strip for me, salmon for my wife) with an awesome view to celebrate our anniversary. The service was outstanding. The drink menu included some unique options, which we took advantage of and liked. Dessert was good, too. We went on a Tuesday night, so although we had reservations, we could have gotten right in without them and still snagged a table by the windows.

    Hello – when making reservations and also seeing menu on line…I was told there would be two menus that evening for homecoming….however, our girls (7) of them received a very simple menu of like mac and cheese and quesadillas etc….my daughter had wanted the seared salmon but it was not on the menu…why weren’t they given both menus on a night like homecoming? Thanks so much…service/food were all great but she really had her heart set on the seared salmon….other friends there for homecoming did get two menus and he had seared salmon and said it was outstanding….thank you.

    The restaurant was a perfect location to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the filet mignon--both dishes were perfectly prepared. Our waitress was particularly attentive and even brought us a complimentary dessert with good wishes for our anniversary. We would certainly recommend this restaurant for a special night out.

    Ordered appetizer calamari. Felt like a piece of rubber would have tasted better. Ordered side salad w/dinner and in dead center of plate was a brown piece of lettuce stalk. Waitress recommended the pasta w/Cajun sauce. I added chicken and it was a broiled piece of Luke-warm chicken. Fettuccine had to be days old.

    The food was awful. I can chew my car's tire much easier than the pork chop I had there. It s been a week since I visited. My jaw still hurts. The mood, view, service, price.. all are good. But.. the restaurant needs to compete with the food. THE FOOD.

    Overall 5 stars. Food service ambiance were all excellent. The only issue we had especially with COVID was with numerous tables empty people were allowed to seat themselves and we ended up with people on either side of our booth when many were still available and one both included 3 young children.

    We had been here before when staying at the double tree for a dance competition and it was good. I don’t know if it is covid related but it was the worst service I have ever had. We had to ask for drinks multiple times. I’m guessing it was our waiter’s first day?? Dishes breaking in the kitchen. Tiny overpriced drinks and very mediocre food. Pass!!!! Go to Need Pizza it is 100% improvement
