333 Pacific - Steaks & Seafood Ratings and Reviews
Went to celebrate my Wife's birthday, we have been to the 333 over a dozen times, it is one of our favorite restaurants.
Everything was outstanding, except for it was unbelievably warm in the restaurant due to the air not working.
This happened to us before when dining there. (No fault of the 333)
That being said we have never had a bad meal or bad service at the 333 and I have always recommended it to all of our friends and will continue to dine there !
Megan was our server and she did a amazing job !
Kudos to the 333 and their staff !
This place was okay, nothing to write home about every thing was just okay, not bad but not fantastic either. We wanted to order drinks but they didn't even have Drambuie in the bar? It took for ever to get drinks and appetizers??? very noisey at the table. Food was okay too much stiff on the side that overcomes the entire' Chef needs to look at more current trends for plate presentation. (very old school) Very pricey for the service etc...
This was our 3rd time to this restaurant and regretfully it disappointed. This was a Friday night, busier than previous visits. We waited over an hour for our mains. Our 9 yr old was tired from the wait and yet they didn't offer to at least bring his meal to get started. After the excessive wait, we were offered dessert on the house. While appreciated, we declined (we don't eat sugars) THREE times. I appreciate the offer, but to ask three times is a bit much. They did comp our apps. The food was good, but it was better previously. We'll be back for another try.
Wish this place wasn't so far from home for me! First visit in a few years, and it was just as lovely as my memories claimed. Loved the lamb "lollipops, "the crusted cod, creamy grits, and the pot de creme! And the service was particularly attentive—a bonus on top of the delightful dishes and the beautiful view.
I would have recommended it higher if not for the "surcharge" that appears on the bill. It took away from my entire experience.
The drinks, steak, bread, ceviche, and lobster mac were all amazing... but just change the menu prices instead of surprising your guests at the very end with a surcharge. Putting it there makes it read like a political statement.
Also, the flourless chocolate cake tastes like dirt.
On two occasions during the meal, one of the hosts from the front desk walked to where we were seated on the patio with a clipboard and wax pencil to monitor the table turnover. Really, really tacky without a hint of discretion. Food and service way below average.
You would think $56 NY steak be cooked to perfection right?
Not this time ! Over cooked and charcoaled on one side, dry and chewy on the inside! Small size for the $$$$ served on top of mashed potatoes, bleeds red into the potatoes tasting awful ! And the wild mushrooms .... omg the worst
I've ever tasted and had to return them !! They cook them in canola oil! The worst oil for you!
Overall food was bad and very expensive ( prices increased in the past 6 months) on top of it 2% automatic charge for increase in wages! Why do I have to pay for the waitresses wages increas and pay higher food prices at the same time? The excellent service the view and the ambiance is what makes me coming back:)
Hope 333 fixes it's food quickly! PLEASE
Went to celebrate my daughter-in-laws birthday. She was greeted warmly and the waiter actually remembered. That's not normal in other establishments. The cocktails were good and the wine list had a bit of everything on it. The birthday dessert was incredible.
Once again the Cohne group has done a wonderful job!
We had a wonderful time and the service was impeccable. Prices were reasonable for the value you received. I would highly recommend to anyone who knows the value of a great dining experience, wonderful menu and great service. We were on the patio and enjoyed all the people going and coming from the pier area. It was a lovely afternoon.
The Cohn group never disappoints. Our server was extremely attentive and professional. He made recommendations and knew the menu well. We were celebrating a couple of things and he also surprised us with a congratulations dessert. Definitely went above and beyond. Food was delicious and fresh. A little pricey for what you get, but worth it and for the view being right on the water.
Everything about 333 was as expected until the food arrived. It arrived late. We had to ask 2 other people where our food was because our waiter was busy with a large table of 8. That said, one of the dinners was not edible...the Alaskan King Crab legs. They were tasteless and bland, not at all sweet. I rejected the meal. While the waiter did offer me another meal, that never works out well, as one diner is finished and the other, in a party of 2, is eating alone. The dining experience is ruined at that point so you try to make the best of it. I will say that the accompanying Brussels sprouts were very good, but I went to 333 for King Crab Legs.
Once the large group with noisy children left, it was very nice. I was not happy being seated next to them in the beginning. Our service by Kuan was excellent. Food was cooked
perfectly.....my filet and my husband's scallops. Good choice of wine based on Kuan's
Our first try for 333 Pacific and it didn't disappoint. We have the mussels, calamari and fingerling potatoes to share and I had the baby iceberg salad. All the food was great and James our server was outstanding! One ding - for a North County they had an LA county IPA?? With all the great beers in San Diego County, you'd think they'd perhaps try a little known offering that was 'local'. We'll be back!
Dinner with our "foodie" relatives, 333 Pacific was a safe bet they'd like it. They LOVED it, as we always do. Great cocktails, great appetizers, great dinner. Service was attentive and helpful, not overbearing. We will be back as usual and new, so will our relatives! Thanks!
Took an hour to order then another to get our food. We had the prime rib special and a few other entrées we were a party of 5 no one like their meal except the clam chowder.. Not sure how this was so bad but with out complaining the manager offered desert and we were so over the experience we said no thank you. They brought the bill with a discount so we appreciate that but will never return or recommend , maybe we just had a bad night not sure ? Only reason we went was Bc of the 4.5 star rating with 3000 reviews ?
