333 Pacific - Steaks & Seafood Ratings and Reviews
We had a marvelous evening. Arrived early to watch the sunset from the bar. The pilsner and calamari were great. We had a street side table to finish the sunset. The Charred Valoroso Tomato Bisque and Coastal Clam Chowder were some of the best we have had. My wife loved her Mac n' Cheese and and my fresh catch entre, striped bass, was marvelous. The seasonings and flavors of each of our selections were complex and outstanding. The bass was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. This was a great place to celebrate our 40th anniversary.
First time at this spot. Mussels were very spicy and didn't care for those. They graciously took them back. The other items were well presented and delicious. The salad shaped with cucumber slices was beautiful and delicious!
They didn't honor my Passport card when we offered an entre and sushi roll, which left a bad taste. Seemed petty!
We live in Oceanside and have passed this restaurant many times. Since it seems to be attached to the Wyndham, we thought of it as a hotel restaurant and didn’t expect it to be anything special. After receiving a gift card we decided to try it. We were beyond impressed. The menu had so many interesting options, the food was fresh and delicious, the service was excellent. Our server was named Kaan, I believe, and he was great! We can’t rave enough about this place and we will be back. Try the sunset tuna roll, you won’t be disappointed.
I've eaten at several other of the Cohn group restaurants. Was in Oceanside and realized it was just across the street from where we were staying. The location is fantastic (waterfront-pier view) and the restaurant itself very tastefully decorated and a nice patio seating area. Staff was very attentive (Kuan). I had the flat iron steak and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. My guest is GF and vegetarian. There were not a lot of options that fit both, however she had the Falafel entre and said it was best she's had. Looking forward to going back sometime soon.
Won't be back. During previous meals, we have enjoyed the food and gathering. However, last week, my fish was tasteless except for the occasional fishy taste; we needed to ask for bread and steak knifes. The New York steak was no longer on the menu. The Ribeye was more like a Top Sirloin. My lemon drop was certainly not ice cold and was lacking the sugar rim until I asked for it to be remedied. Too many other quality restaurants to choose from.
It was okay. Service was good considering the server seemed busy. Table was horrible. There shouldn’t be a table in that location. It is a 2-top wedged in corner of patio and doesn’t fit properly to pull chairs in and out. Plus, sadly very loud very uneducated/obnoxious person at table next to us made the end of the meal disappointing! Martini I requested extra extra cold came out barely cold. I had to add ice from my water.
333 Pacific was great - the food was worth every penny, and they had a good Tuesday night 2 Entrée and bottle of wine deal that we did. We both had the Filet. We got seated on the patio with a front row seat of the sunset over the ocean which was beautiful, and great for some people watching on the pier.
We came for our 50th wedding anniversary, were seated immediately at a table suitable for watching the sunset, had a great bottle of wine, a wonderful dinner and a complimentary dessert. The hostess, waiter and server were all terrific.
If we're in the neighborhood we will definitely return!
They tried to give us an indoor table when we had reserved a view table in the patio. One of our three entrees was cold, but they did replace it (warm entree came out after others had finished their meals). Service was great in beginning but tapered off. Beautiful bathrooms!
Overall the $85 lunch for three (no alcohol or soft drinks) was way over priced. Would not plan to go back.
Worst steak ever! The first time we came here I though it might have just been a one- time problem, but my husband and I both had the ribeye at $53 each and they were terrible! Meat quality is very low, no flavor or juicy ness and there was an inedible piece of gristle running through both steaks. Both arrived barely warm and not cooked to our specifications ( one medium-rare and one medium). Big disappointment, we won’t be back!
As soon as we arrived exceptional service began. Everybody wished us a happy anniversary. Tammy, and her crew , met our every need and expectations without being intrusive. Wife’s lamb lollipops and steak were very tasty and well presented. My ceviche was wonderfully spicy. The only disappointment was the cioppino. Bland and forgettable. The two lobster claws made a great presentation, but were so overcooked, they ended up like mummified leather. Could barely be cut with a knife. The dessert was wonderfully presented with “happy anniversary” on the plate. We ate in the “patio “, and enjoyed the perfect Southern California sunset.
