333 Pacific - Steaks & Seafood Ratings and Reviews
This has become my favorite of the Cohn restaurants... actually favorite of all restaurants. Prado, close second. I was not impressed with the hike in prices and the in-your-face minimum wage service fee. Guess you have to swallow the liberal tax-and-spend in our state to be able to do anything.
I would have given another star for service if the wait staff would have been more attentive. Nothing was mentioned about the 95-year-old’s birthday (it was in the notes in the reservation) until we prompted the server to acknowledge the guest of honor. Suggestion: servers need to read the reservations, hostess should have relayed.
The catch of the day was fantastic as was all the food around the table (trio, ribeye, meatloaf). Will return!
P.S. very much appreciate the complimentary parking!
The wait staff was exceptional, food was good. Only one problem. I/we had a reservation through Open Table. Arrived approx. 45 minutes before reservation time. Checked in with the receptionist, went into the bar for a cocktail, waited approx. 30/45 minutes, reception staff found us and took us to our table. The following day, I received an email from Open Table. Stating we had missed our reservation and it could cost me points with Open Table. I had to follow up with them to clear my name. A inconvenience I could have do without!
First time dining at 333 Pacific. I just moved to Oceanside and saw this restaurant while taking a walk to the pier. Had a business friend visiting from out-of-town and decided this would be the place to take her. During "happy hour", the noise level is high by the front door were the bar is, which you would expect. However, we were seated in a much quieter and cozy part of the restaurant. The staff were very attentive, the food selection is nice, and the actual meals that we ordered where exceptional. Extremely pleased we chose 333 Pacific Steak & Seafood.
The Valentine's Day Special dinner was not up to par in my opinion. The chicken was and didn't have much taste at all. For $150 tab it should have been outstanding. The service and Ambiance was very good. I'd consider taking my wife to 333Seafood for happy hour, but not a full meal!
Happy Valentine's....my husband and I had a very fun evening...after 39 years together..married for seven We love pacific 333. Been visiting for years..always fantastic service and our waiter Luke very attentive and cute to boot. Cohns understand family values.we love them.
Sad to say the blond babe next to us at another table whined about drink...food..and anything else she could get her hands on (typical attention getting).staff handled it with total professional status...(feel sorry for male companion) our file minion FANTASTIC..salads great and oysters very good...don't ask about oinky desserts totally fantastic!!!...wine recommendations...whoo hoo
WE LOVE THIS PLACE..!!
My only complaint about this and other restaurants in the Cohn Restaurant Group is that they pass along a 3% charge to the customer so that the restaurant can pay a reasonable minimum wage. That is NOT the customer's problem. It's the restaurant owner's problem. Rather than rub the customer's nose in this nonsense, EAT the cost of paying your staff a fare wage. You could be sneaky about it and just bury the increase in the prices. At the price of your food, you surely can afford to pay a good wage.
This was my third visit and was a disappointment this time. Had to be reseated due to loud patio seating, very loud. We were then seated inside, much better. I ordered the filet and had to be sent back twice due to improper cooking temperature. I asked for another bread roll that never came and on the third try on the filet I asked for the peppercorn sauce I paid for extra and it never was delivered. The only offer of compromise was the nice server Zaida brought us another glass of wine, which I paid for. Disappointed in this performance.
What a wonderful dinner! It started with a fabulous appetizer, a martini that made me want to ask for seconds, filet mignon that was the best I have had in recent memory and a lovely (and scrumptious) surprise dessert offered in celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary. The staff is awesome and I truly appreciate that they treated my husband's food allergy with care. I'm glad we chose to go there to celebrate and I can't wait to go again.
Great food and amazing service. Johnathon was our server and we would ask him for something or just a question, and he would immediately return with an answer or what we wanted. The hanger steak was the best one I’ve ever tasted. It was the consistency of a filet.
Starter (garbanzo beans which I love!) was way too heavy as an appetizer. Short ribs as always was to-die-for. Chevre cheesecake heavenly. Service was lacking but it was restaurant week (waiter arrived 20 min after being seated, bread service was forgotten, had to pour our own wine etc.)
Our new favorite restaurant! Every detail requested on Open Table for the special occasion was met at 333 Pacific! The quiet table for three gentlemen who won’t admit they having some hearing issues was accommodated and from the minute we were seated and for the duration of our dining experience , everything was perfect! Our server, Paul, and his team were spot in with recommendations and service. The food, some from the Restaurant Week special menu and others ordered from the regular outstanding menu, were equally superb.
We recommend this fine restaurant highly for your consideration in the north county coastal area, but also a worthwhile dining experience to enjoy if your anywhere in San Diego county!
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our evening. We were seated in a very comfortable booth as soon as we arrived. Our server (Zaida) was friendly, knowledgeable, fast - but not pushy fast, and thorough. She greatly added to our experience. The food was excellent (I loved the tomato bisque soup, and the risotto and the rest of my party all ordered the salad and the fillet. All were cooked to perfection. The desserts were great too. As you may be able to tell, we all ordered off the special menu that was geared to restaurant week. Definitely a great deal. I had wine with my meal, the rest of my party ordered specialty vodka drinks - and loved them!
