317 Burger has been serving the local connoisseurs since 2013 with a precise burger menu dredged with bacon, BLT sandwiches and poutine servings. Welcoming the patrons is a dining area accented with faux leather walls, hardwood paneled flooring, walled sconces and cowhide upholstered wooden booths. There is also an outdoor seating to provide dining convenience, further characterized by a friendly and personable wait staff.
The burger menu at 317 Burger features a selection of nine signature options all served with artisan condiments. Poutine, onion rings, wings, pork nachos and pickle fries are served as starters; while the sandwiches include some prime servings like The Elvis, deep fried zucchini and tenderloin. 317 Burger also ladles pitchers of crafted beer to enhance the overall dining experience.
The food was delicious. There was a little confusion at first because our waitress thought the other server was taking care of us, so we waited a bit at the beginning but once she got to us we got our food quickly and it was very tasty.
Food took a long time and was not very hot. It was just OK.
They were super busy but had our reservations. Had to wait for the main entrees for a long time but the waitress was very attentive and told us a head we were in for a long haul. I appreciated the candor, much better than telling us a time they would never be able to make.
Was in town from Ohio for a concert. Planning to come and walk the area when it’s warmer and will definitely be back.
First time to eat at 317 Burger, and we'll be back
Excellent food! Best burger I have had in a long time. Seemed to be very kid friendly with lots of families there. Our server had a problem bringing the correct change back, but it was fixed. We will go back
Food was delicious! Will definitely go back.
Excellent food! Our server was great! The place had a good vibe. Definitely kid friendly. Can’t wait to go back in the summer and sit in the patio.
Place was wonderful. Was told by my daughter in law it was the best quesadilla she’s ever had! Burgers were amazing too! Loved the atmosphere.
Go straight to the Strawberry Hill Burger. But I put Gouda in place of ghost pepper and it was outstanding blend of jelly, bacon, cheese, and peanut butter. Then peanut butter again with the waffle fries for dessert. Service was good but we there early on weekday when ten degrees outside.
Sure it is a hot spot in broad ripple during the weekends. Probably need reservations.
Great burgers, beer, and service. Never had a bad experience in several visits.
Worst food I have had in a long time. Grossly disappointed
The burgers are really amazing! We went on Christmas Eve so it wasn’t that busy, but the staff were all nice and accommodating.
My husband and I came with another couple on a Friday night, we opted to sit in the bar and was very happy with the service. I eat gluten free so I was elated that this place not only had GF buns but also offered bison burgers! It was hands down the best burger I have had in Indianapolis! My husband had the bacon BBQ burger and he felt the same way. Another plus is the tasty fries they serve with the meal. It is all perfectly seasoned and proportioned. I loved this place and will be back very soon!
For a burger place, I was a bit disappointed. The bun was cold and not soft or special at all.
Friendly efficient service. Varied and creative menu, even the burgers and an outstanding selection of draft and craft beer. Reasonable prices..
Just in for family weekend at Butler University
Food was great and server was friendly and knowledgeable.
We were in the area for Butler University family weekend. Great place to eat and service was really good. Can’t beat that
Always an enjoyable dining experience
The Strawberry Hill burger is to die for..not from!
Great food, hand-cut fries were amazing, extensive beer list, prompt service. Great experience.
Our group had a great time. Everyone enjoyed their burgers and we all appreciated the variety on the menu. The server was friendly and helpful.
Favorite place for a burger in Indy. The 317 Burger is my go-to but every burger I've had there was great.
The burgers were good, but nothing memorable. Waitstaff was efficient, but had limited knowledge of the drink menu.
We had a group of 7 on a Sunday morning to celebrate a birthday. They had our table reserved and Zach our server was fantastic! I love the variety of burgers and it was a great time!
Server was very friendly but forgot about the cocktail I had ordered. 30 minutes later, I told her to just skip it. Same thing happened when our son ordered a second beer. Apps came quickly, but then waited over an hour for entrees. Kitchen needs to work on efficiency. Food was good, but after a wait that long, the experience overall was disappointing.
Service was outstanding and the food was even better! Will definitely make this one of our favorite places to dine!
We dined at 317 Burger to start our night out celebrating my son's 21st birthday. There were 6 of us, and we all loved our meal. The beer selections were plentiful. The location was great as we were able to walk around to other Broad Ripple destinations after dining.
Stopped in before a concert at The Vogue. Early, 6p on Thursday, was not crowded. Service was good, not great. We tried the pulled pork nachos - very good, garlic fries - huge portion, just okay, skip the queso offered with them, and the hummus, meh. Adequate beer selection, I offered one of their specialty vodka drinks, it was ok. I'll likely try somewhere else next trip to Broad Ripple.
Met friends for an early lunch on a Saturday. We sat outside because the weather was amazing. The restaurant has a very nice patio for a leisurely outdoor meal. Our menu choices consisted of the tenderloin, the 317 burger and two zucchini salads. Every meal was amazing and the fries were extra good! Our server was fantastic - helpful in food selections and provided just the right amount of attention. We will be back!
There were 7 of us and everyone said that their food was excellent. I thought my 317 burger had too much cheese and the bun seemed stale. The appetizers were great - wings, fried pickles, and fried mac 'n cheese. Great atmosphere and our waitress was friendly.
Great food and service. They never let us down! Beer selection was solid. We enjoyed the poutine, lamb burgers and a variety of other burgers and sandwiches in our group of six. We will certainly be back!
Interesting selection of specialty burgers. We all ordered a unique burger style and enjoyed them. They were accommodating with making small changes. Especially liked the burger with peanut butter and strawberry jam and the lamb burger. We sat inside but they had outside seating which would allow you to enjoy the Broad Ripple scene.
Our server was top notch. Food was good . Glad we reserved a table as when we arrived, there was a 45 minute wait. 317 is always a great place to visit for its neighborhood charm and good food.
We had an absolutely terrible experience here tonight. We were here for 2 hours and saw our waitress 3 times in total. Will never be back.
If you like burgers, give this place a try for unique options. I had the Jucy Lucy, a burger with the cheese inside! My dining companions had a veggie burger (good) and a diner burger (also good!)
Had the fried pickles for a starter and was surprised by their shape and batter, both for the better.
One word. Delicious!
This is my second time coming to this restaurant and it was not as great as my first experience. Decided to take my dad here for father's day and the food was disappointing. My father's burger came out burnt and my burger came out medium (asked for it to be done), had them remake mine and it came out burnt. Just disappointing because the 1st time I came here the food was perfect.
Overall, it was a good experience and we would return. The one negative was the time to get our food. We waited over 30 minutes after ordering. This is a significant amount of time as we only ordered burgers and the resturant was not at capacity.
