About 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
Welcome to 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar, chef-owned and operated for more than two decades. We are dedicated to serving both modern and contemporary French cuisine inspired by seasonal local ingredients. We believe this lends a unique approach to this time-honored cuisine. With a grassroots initiative, almost every dish is prepared from scratch using exceptional care in the procurement of every ingredient. In this way, we pay respect to the community by finding new ways to support Santa Fe’s unique culture of food and art. French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.

315 Restaurant & Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
We returned to 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar for our 48th wedding anniversary. As always, the reception was warm and friendly, and food and service were excellent. Since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the restaurant comped the deserts and presented us both with 315 engraved wine glasses with chocolate truffles inside as we left. That departing gesture marked the end to a perfect evening for two folks still very much in love.
We booked 315 for a last night dinner for our Santa Fe stay and it did not disappoint! Kim was an excellent waitress and the food was spot on. The wine list was extensive but with price points varied to fit any budget and the happy hour was a great value! Fresh East Coast oysters, smoked trout toast, lamb shanks....soooooo good!!!
First visit on Christmas eve. Warm, inviting space if a bit tight. Food was good to very good but not exceptional. Good fried calamari. Arugula salad was good but a bit smallish. Steak frites were quite good. Perhaps a bit too done for "rare" but the very, very thin fries were excellent...and that's very important to me.
Lots of specials. We were there quite early in the evening and the branzino (several of us wanted this) was out already. And, while it is possible that this was a result of a random glut of diners ordering this, it was just too early to run out of a special. And, speaking of running out...my first choice of a bottle from Rhone was out of stock; my 2nd choice was also out
our server was able to get a bottle from the bar used for by-the-glass, but she made a point of saying she had to ask. It was good but that look under the kimono wasn't gracious.
Parking is across the street. The prices were a bit high but in keeping with the quality, portions, service and ambience.
We went to 315 on a Sunday night. It was relatively slow. About half of the tables were filled.
Our experience was somewhat disappointing. The service overall was very slow and not attentive.
We arrived at 7:20 and many of the specials were not available. The food was good but not truly special. I had the Turkey ravioli which was more like a ravoli clear broth soup. My wife had the branzinno, which was quite good.
Too many other good choices around to come back.
Enjoyed a marvelous dinner at 315 last night. The restaurant was Suggested to us when we checked in at La Fonda and I. Am very happy we took their recommendation. The food was imaginative and delicious. The service was excellent. A great experience at a reasonable price.
315 Restaurant is the most reliable place in Santa Fe. Never, never had a disappointing meal, always lovely service. The specials are consistently interesting and the menu solid with good choices. It continues to be a great place for entertaining and special occasions.
It had been a long time since we visited 315 and we were sorry we waited so long to come back. We started with a dozen oysters. They were very fresh and a great buy due to the Happy Hour special. We had a great bottle of French Sauvignon Blanc that complemented the oysters. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I had the mussels. Both were very good and reasonably priced. The service was super!
We all love dining at 315 as it is consistently great and the Chef Owner, Louis Moskow is so talented, and the very best at suggesting wines to pair off his extensive list of whole and half bottles. There is a happy hour between 5 and 7 nightly with 1/2 off fresh oysters, and on Tuesdays also 1/2 off bottles of wine. The oysters are some of the best I have ever had and are offered with 3 different sauces. The foie gras is amazing, as is the caesar salad with calamari and everything else. Often, there are special dinners offered that are quite creative.
Restaurant 315 is a real winner!
Good wine and bad food isn'ta great combination. If the Chef would actually stay in the kitchen instead of behind the bar then perhaps the food would be decent, but there is nothing worse than room temperature soup. It's just gross. The chicken cordon blue was smothered in some sauce that tasted burnt that also impacted all the vegetables. The chef was behind the bar and never came to our table.
Don't go here -the food is mediocre. Lots better wine and food around town.
