315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.

The staff at this restaurant has a friendly “can do” attitude. The food is outstanding with a west-central Europe influence. The wine list is outstanding and fair-priced, one of the best in Santa Fe. We had several 90+ wines with our dinner evening, each was exactly as we expected it to be.
The owner should do something about the manager. We are both in our 60’s and have never experienced what that man put us through. 315 used to be one of our “go to” places for ourselves and visitors. Never again.
Always a fun time to gather at 315. I enjoy sitting at a high-top table in the bar area. Always exceeds expectations.
During these difficult times a wonderful culinary interlude to brighten spirits and titillate gustatory papillae ... can recommend strongly. Have been back a few times and always consistent.
We ate here for a nice birthday dinner so wanted something special---315 was perfect. Each course was flavorful and delicious, the wine recommended by staff was fantastic, the service was professional yet friendly, the ambience warm and inviting. A great final dinner to remember our time in beautiful Santa Fe. Thanks for a wonderful night!
Terrible service from the owner
The appetizer special, hamachi crudo with avocado mango and basil emulsion was a standout as were the mussels and hand-cut club fries. Kudos to the hardworking team for an enjoyable evening on the patio.
I was not really impressed by the food. I had been hearing raves about the fried chicken, but it came undercooked. Also, my girlfriend had the salmon special and wasn't very impressed either. We eat here maybe once a year or so, hoping they would have improved but they haven't. Their happy hour was fun, but that isn't happening due to Covid. When it returns, so will we.
Louis continues to amaze with his menu and hospitality!
First night out dining after Covid restrictions ... it was a perfect ambiance, food , service, and wine .... great meal and evening
As always, the food never disappoints. We brought our young daughters with us and they loved everything as much as we did! The service wasn't amazing but the food makes up for it!
We had a wonderful dinner at 315 this past Saturday. The food and the service were both very good.
Perfect spring meal
Meal was wonderful as always, our server, Mira, was there best!
We took our out of town relatives here for dinner, as it is one of our favorites. They too really enjoyed it. Be sure to start with the sourdough bread and olive oil. From there, the salads and pasta dishes were excellent. We will be back.
Our 42nd anniversary - a complimentary flute of champagne was classic Louis - always the perfect touch to compliment a flawless meal
We are very glad some friends recommended 315. They are regulars. Food was very good and service was even better. Good Covid compliance. We felt very comfortable and would go back in a heartbeat. They had only reopened for indoor dining and it was obvious a lot of their regulars were making their first return. That was great to see.
Excellent food. Happy to have celebrated a birthday occasion here.
Great food, excellent service.
First meal inside a restaurant in a year! Great food, great service as always. Glad 315 is back and we’re back to enjoy it!
Didn’t have our table at first so had to wait and was offered free glasses of wine that never came. Got seated then within 15 minutes ordered our meal. 30 minutes later were told one of our entrees was unavailable. We decided to leave because we didn’t like the remaining offerings. Three stars for food because it’s usually good. The lack of concern for our party leaves us free to patronize the other fabulous restaurants in Santa Fe and leave 315 out of our rotation. Food offerings a little weird and per glass wine list is lacking.
Rude rude unhelpful
Really sad about our experience here. Have been going to 315 for years and always had a great experience. This was something quite different. We felt unwelcome when walking in, interactions with most of the staff felt like we were a bother or they were annoyed to have us there, food took quite some time to come (we were the 1st and only people when we came in and ordered), staff seemed disinterested in discussing the food and liquor. Hope they were just having an off night?
Great service by great folks... oysters were great as always and the mussels... superb!
All you hope for when you walk into a restaurant is to be greeted with respect. The owner didn't ask my name, introduce himself, ask if I had a reservation or give any kind of greeting like "hello" or "welcome to 315". Instead, he made a snide comment about my purse, laughed then walked away... This is the second time I came in and didn't feel welcomed by the owner. It's a shame because the staff is fantastic and so is the food and wine selection. I'm a huge advocate for supporting local because I personally work at a local restaurant in town but I've given up. I wish this place the best of luck in these hard times.
Our waitress was wonderful. But the food was pretty unimpressive and the prices were not low.
Very creative menu and good service.
This used to be a wonderful restaurant but is now terrible. Do not go here. They were out of everything we ordered including the wine so only 50% of the items on the menu were available. I had the duck and it was so dry I needed a chain saw to cut it. My wife had the french onion soup which had no cheese.
Really sad- we used to love this place.
We came to celebrate my husbands birthday. I posted that when I made reservation and hoped the restaurant would have acknowledged that but they didn’t. But service and food was great.
Great food at reasonable prices for the quality. Good wine selection that is very modestly priced. Our service could have been a bit better, but not bad...
The menu is a little dated. Appetizer/French onion soup was so-so. Entree/sea bass for 2 was delicious. Our server was preoccupied with bar tending. He made my $16 cocktail and sat it between my moving left elbow and the corner of the table. Just not attentive.
Friendly staff, understanding of our special need, wonderful food.
The menu was unlike anything posted online. Check before you arrive. I've never been to a French restaurant with fried chicken offered on the menu.
I’ve been here multiples times and have had great times but this was not one of them. The staff is always amazing just FYI but My problem was with the owner. Being in the service industry, I look forward to my days off and I was looking forward to 315 until the owner told me I couldn’t sit in the bar because it was for customers with reservations... I actually did have a reservation but came a little late (I was just by myself or “Treat Yourself Saturday” as I like to call it). The owner explained that because of Covid, they can only have a certain number of people in the bar at once. Now here’s what baffled me. He himself was sitting at a bar table (two bar tables pushed together) to do work and sip on some type of dark liquor. Hey, if it’s your business you can do whatever the hell you want but I’m shocked he doesn’t have an office or something instead of taking up partial bar capacity for himself to do work. It was unprofessional to say the least. He was a host the time before I came and also treated me as problematic because I didn’t have a reservation but there seemed to be plenty of room in the bar. The menu was nearly cut in half in terms of items and I was excited to get some dinner, take home a bottle of wine and enjoy my night but sadly that wasn’t the case at all. I didn’t end up eating dinner because the embarrassing interaction I had with the owner made me lose my appetite. It stinks because I work at a fine dining restaurant in town and I ALWAYS suggest 315 to customers but sadly that won’t be a thing anymore. The oysters are wonderful, the wine selection is superb and the staff is fantastic but the owner needs to learn how to treat locals/service industry staff better. I’d like to give this place another chance but that won’t be anytime soon. Sadly
We sat at a high top next to the bar. With covid restrictions, it meant we had the room nearly to ourselves. There was only soft music playing so we were able to visit. Incredible flavors with delicious wine. Highly recommend
Nice little French bistro in the heart of Santa Fe and I good break from traditional southwestern food. Intimate and quiet, with great friendly service. An AMAZING wine list that blew me away.
Food was great, with ample portions.
Would highly recommend for anyone dining in Santa Fe.
I can’t get enough of this place!!! Happy hour oysters and a glass of Rose is my favorite day of treat yourself meal.
this is truly my favorite restaurant in santa fe. the food is absolutely delicious!!!!
First, the setting on a large, pretty patio, with greenery and heaters, was perfect. The tables were all full and safely spaced.
Our server was new, and very pleasant, but the restaurant had not trained him on wine service, or the bottles on the wine list. He uncorked the wine, served one glass and left us to refill our own glasses.
The food was delicious! The restaurant was out of oysters at 6:30 pm, so I guess they didn’t come in, but the crab cakes did not disappoint—lots of crab. The entree portions were almost too generous, especially the crispy fried chicken on mashed potatoes. It could feed two easily. The Caesar salad was fresh, and bright with lemon and the calamari was tender with a light batter. I couldn’t get freshly ground pepper.
Sadly we were too full for desert, which featured classic comfort sweets: creme brûlée, flourless chocolate cake and chocolate pudding.
The service was excellent, even to filling the water glass. Several people came by to see how we were doing.
