this is truly my favorite restaurant in santa fe. the food is absolutely delicious!!!!
First, the setting on a large, pretty patio, with greenery and heaters, was perfect. The tables were all full and safely spaced.
Our server was new, and very pleasant, but the restaurant had not trained him on wine service, or the bottles on the wine list. He uncorked the wine, served one glass and left us to refill our own glasses.
The food was delicious! The restaurant was out of oysters at 6:30 pm, so I guess they didn’t come in, but the crab cakes did not disappoint—lots of crab. The entree portions were almost too generous, especially the crispy fried chicken on mashed potatoes. It could feed two easily. The Caesar salad was fresh, and bright with lemon and the calamari was tender with a light batter. I couldn’t get freshly ground pepper.
Sadly we were too full for desert, which featured classic comfort sweets: creme brûlée, flourless chocolate cake and chocolate pudding.
The service was excellent, even to filling the water glass. Several people came by to see how we were doing.

We were seated on the lovely patio although we initially requested indoor dining when making our reservation. Outdoor ambiance was lovely but it was chilly—a couple more propane heaters would be welcomed. Fig appetizer and my fish were delicious; potstickers and desserts only average. Server forgot our salad.

Horrendous food and service. Stingy wine pour. The onion soup was the worst I’ve ever had, dishwater like. My Branzino was awful, it tasted bad and smelled fishy. It seems it was a frozen product. The empanadas were made of extremely thick dough. Tasteless. The server was bad he has no business being a server. The hostess or manager never came to inquire about our experience although we did not eat the soup or the entrees.
This place is a disaster. I don’t recommend open table book them.
We went the other night for an outdoor dinner and really LOVED the food. Perfectly cooked fish and amazing mussels with a broth that needed extra bread to sop up the last drop. SO GOOD!!!
I think they need another server. The busboys were amazing at keeping our water full and checking on us but the server was spotty at best.
They only have one credit card machine and it took forever - 20 minutes - to process the payment. A bummer ending to a tasty meal.
Food was ok. Nothing spectacular. But it was priced as high as the finest restaurants in Santa Fe. They had a decent outdoor patio but they packed people in a little tighter than other restaurants do. I felt a little uncomfortable about the potential for passing Covid germs around.

We visited the restaurant and Wine bar on a Saturday evening. It was not overly busy or full. Yet we had a table on the patio in the wind with no heater. We had to request for warmer seating… Which was plenty of. Each of us had a different pasta. One chicken one lobster. the flavors were good, but not overly impressed. I’ve made better pasta at home. I give the food an average rating.
The wait staff was attentive and did a good job of describing the entrées.
An amazing dinner! 4 of us ordered a number of the small plates and had a fabulous meal!

I would like to thank the chef for coming to our table, and making the rounds with all of his guests. We appreciate this type of attention to service. Since we were celebrating my daughter's birthday, I did not want to say anything negative, and spoil the evening. However, the dinner was very disappointing. Lets start with the bread- from a high end french restaurant, one would expect a crusty, perfect baguette, not a doughy mess. Next, we had a Caesar salad with calamari. I've had better salads at food trucks? There were no croutons, anchovies, or parmesan and very little garlic or lemon- it was a bland and basic salad, chopped in little pieces-not a Caesar. My husband had the standart steak frites- the meat was rather tough, although our dog loved it when we brought is home. I myself had the fettucini with exotic mushrooms , garlic confit- mea culpa, I assumed the confit to be duck related. Much to my surprise, there was no duck, and hardly any garlic confit. The mushrooms indeed must have been so exotic that I had an extremely meager serving, swimming in cream. My daughter and her boyfriend loved their huge cote de boeuf, so at least they were pleased with their dinner. Desert were ok, but unimaginative, and the tiramisu was quite disappointing. So overall, while the service is good, and the patio lovely, we were expecting much better and creative fare, especially given the prices on the menu. I would not come back, not would I recommend it.
This has been one of our favorite places, but it hasn't figured out how to deal with the pandemic. We were over charged by $30 and caught it. The meal was very expensive for what you got (there are other places in town as good for a lot less). The tables were not set up properly for COVID reg (people were complaining)...all in all it feels like 315 is going for the cash and to heck with the patron...so sad.
The service was fantastic-friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. The food And wine was equal to the service. We had the Stag’s Leap petite Syrah and it was excellent.
Our experience at 315 was impeccable. It had been a while since I last dined here so I wasn't sure what to expect and boy do I regret not making this one of my usual jaunts. First off the service from our server Luz was exceptional. His knowledge of wine and the menu details were on point, and the food! The food was exquisite! What can I say but bravo to chef & owner Louis, who did make a visit over to our table to make sure everything was going well. Superb!
Excellent all the way around. We ordered one of the specials of the evening, the cote de boeuf. It was excellent. The meat had a lot of flavor and the chef cooked it perfectly. Highly recommend this dish and this restaurant!
Always a delight to dine with our friends at Bistro 315 - the oysters were perfect, the Branzino was awesome and the wine was spectacular - service and food quality is always outstanding. Thanks for having us !
Three of us were celebrating birthdays and it was our first dining out (patio seating) since sheltering in place. We appreciated masked staff, tables spaced at a distance and wonderful food and service. We enjoyed the Duxbury oysters, Caesar salad with calamari, lobster agnolotti, steak frites, and birthday complimentary desserts of pot de creme and raspberry strudel. It was a magical evening. Highly recommend.

The best filet Mignon that I’ve ever had was served by the 315 Restaurant and Wine Bar. The outside of the filet was crispy & had a wonderful flavor and the inside was a perfect medium rare.
My fiancé and I also took advantage of their half priced oyster bar. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable on the oysters. They came with a wonderful cilantro sauce that was perfect on them.
Service was great, food was incredible, and the restaurant was very warm and welcoming.
Did I mention the filet Mignon?? Haha

To start, they have happy hour oysters again!! Great outside patio in downtown Santa Fe. Nice, not overly large wine list but with some excellent selections. The oysters are excellent, the mussels are excellent and they are very careful about my wife's dairy allergy...

Service was uniformly abysmal!! From the Host/Manager’s uncooperative attitude at check-in, to the server’s error in giving our meal to another party & taking forever to realize it, to the owner’s failure to take responsibility for the mess, choosing instead to hide in the kitchen & send a different waiter to break the news to us that our meals had to be re-ordered after we had already waited over an hour for our main course (who then had the nerve to say “I wasn’t your waiter so it wasn’t my fault so don’t complain to me!”). This was a dining experience that will go down in the record books — and not in a good way!! None of the 5 of us had ever experienced such horrific service & will definitely never go back. The owner should be ashamed of himself.
Slightly overpriced, a bit pompous which to me is exactly what any restaurant that calls itself a wine bar reverts you given enough time! So, mission accomplished ! I got exactly what I expected!
Hadn't been here in a couple of years and was once again absolutely delighted. The menu is now broader than a French Bistro, and we found the new items, particularly the empanadas terrific. And, the portions were so ample, we, unfortunately, didn't have room for dessert! We'll be back soon
315 has always been on the cutting edge; it is evident with the seasonal vegetables and others food items. I had frog legs and pasta with chanterrals in this cream sauce that was heavenly.
My salmon was chewy and over priced.

By far the best food I’ve had in Sante Fe. Staff was great. Owner, chef was hands on. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try.
We had a 7:15 reservation which was not honored, which is unthinkable treatment for a loyal local customer of 15 years. Seated finally at 7:40 at a table not in the garden as we had asked, but on the portal uncomfortably tight up against other diners. We were given an appetizer to try to make up for the shortcomings, but it was not an item we would have chosen. Next they were out of the wine we ordered, but offered a nice substitute at a lower price. On the positive side, the food was as delicious as ever. We love 315 and we respect Louis Moskow. They just had a bad evening.
We were there for dinner on the first Saturday night that indoor dining reopened. It was way too packed with people to be safe to eat there. It will be a long while before we return.
Our best meal here yet, and our first meal out in a while. Thank you to Louis and the entire staff for a fantastic evening under the stars with wonderful food and a great ambience. ~M&R

Excellent food and service. The only issue I had was that something was biting my ankles at the first table they seated us at. I don't know what it was. We don't have mosquitoes here per se. I couldn't see any bugs, but was definitely being bitten. Fortunately, our server moved us to another table right away and the problem was resolved.
Otherwise, the food was excellent - thank you Louis and staff. The service outstanding. I love sitting outside on the patio and hope that after Covid, some of this will remain. I have always thought it odd that Santa Fe had so few restaurants with outdoor dining since our weather is ideal for it - most of the time.
I am grateful for restaurants staying open during this time and to all the people that work there, from owners to cooks to wait staff to bottle washers! Thank you.
Filet mignon overcooked. Told fried chicken was sold out only to see served to other diners 30 minutes later. Not the best dining experience.
We know the current situation is difficult but our experience was horrible. Bread came on the table and for some reason the waiter took it off the table and all our silverware. For apps the gazpacho was good. The squash blossoms were tasteless. We got fried chicken it was crispy tender however flavorless. The bouillabaisse had old shrimp and I should have returned it as I found out later. We asked for salt and pepper and saw other tables ask also. Then the tiramisu came with pure cream and a sliver of something in the middle. Hardly authentic.
I’ve been here before and it has been good. A couple came out the same time we did very upset with their experience. For the price we paid I felt taken. But later that night I was in terrible pain and 2am went Walgreens for stomach medicine.
