315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.
The best meal we have had in Santa Fe. Outstanding!
I think the restaurant staff could use more training. Silverware was placed out of order, both our cocktails were placed in front of my husband, there was a tremendous amount of time to order and between asking for the check and receiving it. The asparagus soup was inelegantly plated, our mussels were so so, the frites were three large, cold, squishy baked potato slices. The restaurant came so highly rated from the concierge at the Inn of the Five Graces where we were staying, that this experience came as a total surprise to us. I can only think that we stumbled on a bad night for them and that this isn't typical.
Nice evening with good food, service & wine. The wine special was a nice perk.
Outstanding cuisine and atmosphere in a welcoming atmosphere. We always look to 315 to offer exceptional dining opportunities.
It's been several years since we last ate at 3:15 and it has changed! A new layout and outdoor seating. The food and service were excellent. The serving sizes were just right. The French cheese plate was a great appetizer. The ambiance really depends on what table you get but overall is good. There is more seating now so the noise level was greater. We enjoyed our evening and will return.
Our first night in Santa Fe started with a great dinning experience. The restaurant is clean and neat with white table cloths and napkins. The waitstaff was attentive. Wine list is long and varied. Meal was wonderful. Would go back again to try the Blue Shell crab that was not available on our night.
Fabulous food, friendly staff and great service , the duck was so good I had it two nights !
The food was outstanding cooked perfectly, the menu has a wide variety of choices
The service excellent, the staff warm, courteous, efficient.
We love going to 315
The ambiance joyful & friendly, however if u want to dine quietly that’s possible too
We always have a wonderful experience at 315! Louis is an outstanding chef and creates the most delicious food!!!!!!
Best meal in Santa Fe. Excellent food, service, wine. Not to be missed.
I very much like to go to 315, the food is consistently good and varied. The service is always very nice and I like the inside and the outside very much.
Really a great place to go.
The only complaint I have are the drinks. Lately they are not what they used to be, sorry to say. I don’t know if they have changed the Bar person or whatever other reasons, but the quality of the drinks could really be up-dated. Lately I have tried always different ones but they are mainly tasteless and too sweet.
However the wine choices are always great!
Will go back many times and hope that the drinks get better.
Food was outstanding and ambiance was only average. Service was diappointing. The waitress could not tally the bill and over charging $60.00. When reversing the credit card charges the card was frozen and then declined. I ended paying in cash.
We’re regulars here, for good reason . The food is delicious, particularly the Branzino, which is always excellent. The wine list is very good, and on Tuesdays all bottles are half price. They have a happy hour, too, with good cocktails. The duck fat Brussels sprouts are outrageously yummy. You can dress up or down here, as at any restaurant in Santa Fe.
As always this restaurant does not disappoint. We are on the email list and saw the post for the special prix fixe menu 4 course including an unbelievable fresh salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing, soft shell crab, and rhubarb crisp. The entire meal was heavenly! And the wines that night were half price!! This is such a wonderful place to eat. Don't miss it when you are in Santa Fe. And their squash blossoms are THE BEST in town.
We were very disappointed with the slow service and the food. We were there for an hour before we placed our order. The wait staff seemed to be very short handed. Sorry me food came our cold and the mussels were gritty. It was difficult to get the servers attention.
Food and service was amazing! Second time there can’t wait to go back. Great wine list too!
I love this restaurant! The food is always good and super fresh. The ambiance is lovely too. Cant wait for the patio to open for summer.
315 always a treat! Food was excellent! Service was not as good as usual. Apparently someone called in at the last minute. The deficit showed but they did their best. We’ll be back!
Great experience...service, food and ambiance all above par!
We had a wonderful dinner with friends at 315 this past Sunday evening. Service was friendly and attentivel; we loved our server. The asparagus bisque was very tasty, seasonal, but a bit cool. My Sole Francaise was excellent as was the Pot de Creme. Our friends ordered Steak Frites and raved about it. Our friends have lived in Santa Fe for a long time, but this was their first time going to 315. We're coming back during Squash Blossom time.
Great value. We ordered from the bar menu ... steak, frites and a salad $10! Best deal in town.
Chef Moskow's filet of sole dish was amazing! The French and Italian wine offerings are extensive and fist rate. I will be back to Bistro 315 very soon!!!
Food was mediocre — 3 of us had specials, which were not hot and not good. Only one of 4 meals was good and served hot. Service was slow — we were stuck in a back corner — the server just repeatedly ignored us or forgot about us. When she finally dropped off the check (after we went to find her to ask for it), we told her not to go away — we were concerned we wouldn’t see her again for a while. Then she got snippy and short with us.
We’ve been there several times before, and things were good. We won’t return — Santa Fe has a lot of better restaurants.
We visit 315 all the time. We live close by, and the owner is a friend, but the key thing is we always have a good time there, with excellent food and a terrific wine selection. The servers are very friendly.
This is one of our top restaurants in Santa fe, and we live here. This is the place in Santa fe for raw oysters. They usually have 4 kinds. Their entrees are really great as well. We had halibut and also ordered the 4 course set menu stuffed sole. Happy hour prices on oysters before 7PM. Very good service. The only ding is the halibut was a little overcooked.
Someone recommended this place and i felt the food was just okay. The menu appeared creative and the taste was good but not amazing. Certainly nothing where it’s memoravle or warrant a return visit. The room/decor was also dingy.
We have dined at 315 many times. The food is ALWAYS prepared beautifully. Love their onion soup because it isn’t so rich that you can’t eat the rest of your meal. So good.
This particular night, there was a large boisterous private party in the back room. It was so loud that we had a little trouble hearing one another in our side room. That isn’t the restaurant’s fault. The food made up for it!
In fact, i think it’s the perfect place for a small private party!
Owner/executive chef Louis Moskow has vast knowledge of wines and his list shows it. There are some real finds on the list. The Prix Fixe was all outstanding and a very good value. Service was excellent in spite of it being a very busy evening. The restaurant donated a part of its take to a nonprofit on Santa Fe's annual charity event. My husband and I have dined there many times over the last 16 years.
The food here is excellent and the ambiance fantastic. We usually have great service. It is an intimate restaurant that we enjoy. Close to downtown and easy parking.
Wonderful food! The steak and chicken dishes were fantastic! The salad was large and very fresh- the steak on the bar menu is a steal at $10!
Manager or some exec of the restaurant was talking to a coupe who were friend of is and she was loud boisterous and obnoxious. Told
The hostess of
Chef Louis Moskow is so talented and, if you’re in town for the special prix fixe seasonal or wine dinners, don’t miss his brilliant and affordable creations! I was thrilled with the fresh Alaskan Halibut special Spring menu. Essentially 4 courses for $40. Outstanding!
The best wine list and a full bar including an excellent Whiskey collection.
The staff are professional, yet relaxed, and take the time to chat with you, even when you can see they are very busy.
The atmosphere is perfect. You are transported to a relaxed fine bistro in France. That’s the sign of a wonderful dining experience.
Can’t wait to return!
We had a great time over there. We were 6, 3 generations and we all enjoyed it immensely from the prix fixe menu to the choucroute and macaroni and cheese. The prix fixe was phenomenal and a great value for $40.00. Thanks again for a great waiter.
one of the best in Santa Fe. The thing that makes it great is the consistency. Both in food and staff.
We had a wonderful experience at 315 Wine Bar and Restaurant 2 nights in a row. The 1st night was my step-daughter's birthday. We had noted this in our Open Table reservation and beginning with the Maitre de then our waiters and finally the busboys, all of the staff stopped by to wish her a happy birthday. I had also noted some dietary restrictions in the reservation which the 315 Restaurant staff members warmy accomodated. They even found a candle, lit it and brought it to the table on my step-daughter's gluten-free dessert. One entree was a little slow arriving, so they deducted it from the check. We were so impressed that we returned the next night and had another wonderful meal
Hubby and I celebrated our 39th anniversary at 315. All staff were very attentive and not intrusive. We were delighted with the oysters and French onion soup and the salmon and halibut that we had were perfection. By the time we finished our entre we simply did not have enough room for desert. As a result in addition to complimentary champagne, the restaurant comped us our oyster app and gifted us two complimentary wine glasses. A very classy place we will definitely return
This was my first visit to 315 and I was very favorably impressed. We arrived just as they opened at 5 and needed to leave by 6:10; our waiter was very accommodating, pleasant, friendly and efficient. I ordered a Caesar salad that was below average and fresh wild Salmon with a potato horseradish crust that was absolutely delicious. We didn't have time to stay for dessert. I plan to go back again soon and have recommended 315 to friends for happy hour based on their very impressive menu for same. I want to mention how lovely the ambience is. I felt like I was in a French country house: very cozy and comfortable.
We had Kate as our waitress and she was amazing! She was funny, helpful, and was amazing with all my dietary restrictions. The oysters were very good and my parents were so happy they had a bottle of Flowers, but sad they only had one. Lovely place, would happily come back
A gem in Santa Fe! We enjoyed our dinner at 315 tremendously. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the food selection and the wines. We will definitely return!
Fantastic food. Excellent chef and waiter. Will definitely return.
