312 Chicago is centrally located the Loop Theater and Financial District. Every room offers iconic city views including City Hall, the Thompson Center, the Board of Trade and the Cadillac Palace Theater. The ambiance evokes the comfort and sophistication of a 1930’s supper club, but the style is pure, modern elegance with rich walnut wood and dramatic chandeliers.

Pre-theater dinner - perfect spot. I hadn't been back to "312" since probably closer to when it first opened! I was very pleasantly surprised. My boss often has business breakfasts there too.
Loved the unique food choices on the menu. Food was prepared exactly right. Good wine choices. Reservations highly recommended.
Absolutely a perfect place to grab some dinner before the show. Located right next to the Cadillac Theater, how convenient. Excellent food and super fast service. Booked a table with Open Table and had no problems, seated within minutes. Out in plenty of time for the show. Everything was perfect! Thank you!
Everything was fantastic! The food, the drinks, and the service from the moment we walked in the door until we got the check.
A great overall experience! We're coming back soon.
Excellent food and attentive service. Bistecca steak was perfectly tender and flavorful, eggs Benedict was lovely, salmon was very good. Even our party's least favorite dish, the chicken panini, was good... the person who ordered it just had Egg Benedict envy! Also had excellent Tiramisu and very good cheesecake. Highly recommended - a perfectly satisfactory pre-show birthday brunch!
Excellent service. Delicious food. Will most definitely come back next time I visit Chicago!
Awesome service & Food
312 is always reliable for a delicious meal in a comfortable setting.
I had the Salmon which was prepared perfectly. The service was also solid.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food in the heart of downtown.
Always delicious food and great service, speedy but not rushed. A 5pm reservation allowed ample time to enjoy wine, conversation, a meal, and still make an 8pm curtain at the Nederlander.
We needed a quick place for a quiet lunch on a weekend -- where many fast food places are closed this far west. I had at first not considered going here, concerned that it would take longer than we had. However, I was very pleased -- we had an excellent lunch/brunch, two days in a row (returning for Sunday). It's not a large menu, but we were all pleased with our sandwiches/salads/breakfast items. The server was attentive, we were able to speak to each other easily, and we made it back to our conference with plenty of time.
I had the pork chop and it was great. My wife tried the Bolognese and was a bit disappointed. Seemed like the sauce needed to cook for another hour or so. Good flavors, just not the depth of flavor you would expect. Great pre-theater place.
Everything was outstanding. Food (pasta and steak ordered), service, quality and value. Looking forward to more.
Food was excellent! Service was a bit slow, even though there weren't many tables. However, we planned for a longer dinner, so it was not much of an issue. Great food! Reasonable pricing. Fun pre-theater dinner :)
We LOVE 312. We’ve been 8 or so times over the past 6 years. Never had a dish that wasn’t delightful - and the service and un-requested extras are always superb. The always-offered Prix Fixe menu with 3 courses plus multi-course wine pairings, under $65 per person cannot be beat.
Had a spring break dinner with it’s my family. Bartender made some great suggestions for beverages. Food was delicious!
Food was wonderful, service great, lovely atmosphere will definitely go back
Great food, great drinks, great staff. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, The bartenders were very friendly. Luis was our waiter; & he was wonderful!
Very prompt service and great sized portions. The restaurant has a homeliness quality which is very welcoming and warming. Good place for a business meal.
The Caiciucco was perfectly seasoned and the clams and mussels cooked to perfection, the short rib/polenta appetizer was filling and flavorful. We really enjoyed our meal.
Good food, service, and will be back. Portions are good and staff is very attentive.
Solid good food, no one goes hungry! Room could use some updating as it felt a bit outdated for downtown.
Risotto special was soupy, and unremarkable
The sea bass special my client had looked good. He finished most of it.
Service was friendly, but inattentive. Our finished meals sat for ten to fifteen minutes without an offer to clear. For a business spot, not acceptable
excellent restaurant. good food and service. very handy to other attractions.
Scallop starter was fresh and delicious. Fritto Misto was made excellent with the inclusion of tomato peppers and fried lemons. Good choice of wines. All wonderful dishes in a wonderful setting.
The food was excellent and our waiter was excellent.
Went as part of a couple pre-theater, Saturday evening. Likely the busiest time of the week. There are two floors to the restaurant, and at the street level the tables and booths are arranged so as to maximize privacy. So, even when that level of the restaurant is full, the noise level is tolerable. The menu was not extensive, but there was an adequate variety of fish/meat/neither, plus specials, so as to provide "something for everyone". The food was served hot, which isn't the case everywhere. The drinks from the bar were well mixed and the craft cocktails interesting (who would think to add beet?) Service was attentive. A nice evening all around and not our last visit.
Always wonderful.....Food, service and especially the friendliness of the staff...our favorite pre-theater/opera spot...We don't even talk about going anywhere else anymore.
outstanding! The food and ambiance, the waiter, the cost, all were very reasonable and food delicious! we will definitely go back.
We told them we had tickets to the opera, and so needed to be out of there by 6:30-6:45, and they said it wouldn't be a problem. They completely forgot and it was a total scramble at the end. We didn't get our check settled until after 7 and had to race over.
From the moment we walked in the door, it was a wonderful experience! Great service! The meal- delicious! The limoncello- best we’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend 312!
We have gone to 312 since it opened. It’s our neighborhood place. Consistent excellent food, service, and ambiance.
Food delicious, wine outstanding and service (waitstaff was Frankie) excellent
The food was excellent. We were there for their 21st anniversary special four course dinner menu, well worth the price of $45 a person. Each course was very substantial and extremely tasty. Our only concern was that we had to ask for our dessert course to go because we had show reservations and even though we were there an hour and a half before the show started but we would have been delayed if we had stayed and eaten the dinner course there. If you plan on going, plan on not having anything planned after your dinner that way you can enjoy it fully
I had the squash torteloni and my friend the salad/salmon combo. We were both very pleased. Service was prompt. this is a great place to go for lunch before the theater. I highly recommend.
A little noisy. E
The food was absolutely amazing and very well priced for a hotel restaurant. We liked it so much we had breakfast the next morning.
