312 Chicago is centrally located the Loop Theater and Financial District. Every room offers iconic city views including City Hall, the Thompson Center, the Board of Trade and the Cadillac Palace Theater. The ambiance evokes the comfort and sophistication of a 1930’s supper club, but the style is pure, modern elegance with rich walnut wood and dramatic chandeliers.

Did the pre fix meal and it was fabulous as well as economical by large city standards. Also did the wine pairing which was well done. Not a fan of Moscoto that was served with dessert but that was on us not the restaurant. After seeing Hamilton that afternoon it was the perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday weekend. Looking forward to returning.
Mainly theatre goers. Food is good - service is good.
Great business meeting location for both breakfast and lunch.
Food was great, it was just a little cold in there.
Always a pleasure! Great food, service and ambiance.312 has the best staff......we are always greeted like cherished friends. Salvador took great care of us. 312 is our go-to pre Opera dining spot. No one else in the neighborhood compares.
Delicious food and excellent service. Good atmosphere and we got a nice corner table.
The food is consistently average. The only benefit of eating here is its proximity to the Cadillac Pqlace Theater.
The service was excellent. My group of friends had a lot of catching up to do so we lingered over lunch and were never pressured to leave early. I really appreciate that.
312 is a very cozy restaurant with tasty food and excellent service.
Everything was delicious!
The chef and manager both stopped by to check on our experience. A great meal!
We appreciated that the chef came by our table to speak with us personally.
Service was very fast and food was good. It suits our needs as pre theater dinner. My only complaint is that the booths are so tight that you can barely squeeze in.
This is my husband and my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately my husband passed this past May and it was difficult to go without him. I did go back in August and they were so very very kind to me. My sister-in-law is in town and so I took her and we both had a wonderful time. She could not believe how great the food and the service was. They still remember my husband and I coming there and they miss him also. I will be back before Christmas.
Went in with several friends and we were running late for an event. The waitress was fantastic and succeeded in getting us out in time to make it to our event. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. Will definitely be returning.
A great restaurant for a date night. This was our 10 year wedding anniversary and they treated us to a piece of cake. The waiter was very nice. Never have a half full glass of water as the staff works full it up promptly.
I had gotten married and went here for brunch with our families as an intimate party. It was very beautiful. Hard to read the menu but the food was delicious!!!
The food was delicious, and quite reasonnably priced. Ambiance and seating and service were excellent.
The specials are always varied and are well prepared and have great flavors. The service is top notch and it's easy to carry on a conversation at just about every table.
excellent restaurant, good food, good service, well-located, highly recommended
Anytime I am in Chicago and stay at the Kimpton Allegro I try to visit your restaurant. It is always a great experience and well worth the money. My guests always seem to enjoy as well.
The host and waiter were welcoming and provided attentive service. Very impressed. Will return
Food was ok, nothing bad, nothing spectacular. We got the Brussel sprouts (which were very sweet) & the scallop (super bland and fishy) appetizers.
My bolognese was good. Noodles were a nice texture, sauce was good.
My friend got the roasted chicken dish. Nice big portion, good flavors.
My wine had clearly been opened for several days and if the waiter had ever come back over, I would’ve asked for a new glass.
Very good Italian pre-fix menu with a variety of choices.
Best porkchop ever. Best porkchop ever. Best porkchop ever.
The hostess was very kind in accommodating a request to change seating. Drinks and Food were great! Was a delightful dinner!
multi-course meal was offered. It included two appetizers, three entrees and two desserts. It was not only too much for the two of us, it was delicious. It was an excellent value and gave us an opportunity to sample several items. Service was perfect.
The service was terrific from the host to our waiter. We ordered the mozzarella wrapped in Prosciutto and it was delicious. I am doing a low carb thing and so my choices were limited. I ordered the octopus and I was disappointed. The waiter was very accommodating to replace the potatoes with spinach but, the octopus was rubbery.
Food some good some just ok. Service slow.
Tastes is good and the pork is juice. Lot of peoples are celebrating Chicago marathon!
This is a great pre- or post-performance spot. Located in the theatre district, it is an easy walk from many performance halls.
My friend dined at 312 after an opera matinee. As we were dining early - 5:30 - we received prompt service. We both had the seafood risotto. It was delicious. I had a cold crisp glass of prosecco. Delightful.
Great place to eat before the Chicago Marathon. They had a special marathon menu and got out the food quickly, which was good for me because I needed to carb load and go to bed early. Will eat here again if I am privileged enough to get an entry into the Chicago Marathon again.
The place is great and Music is fantastic!
Service is very good and so is the food!!!
I'm an Italian national in Chicago to run the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and I'm still amazed for having found (finally!!!) a TRUE Italian restaurant with the kitchen ran by the outstanding TRUE Italian chef Luca Corazzina, whom I had the pleasure of meeting personally. I wish all Italians visiting (or residing in) Chicago the same luck!
The waiter didn’t listen and brought me a Caesar salad with chicken, rather than with shrimp as I had ordered. Then is took 10 minutes for the replacement salad to arrive. In the meantime, my guest’s pasta got cold
Wonderful meal with interesting menu. Bloody Mary's were very spicy! Salmon and dessert were excellent!
Great service and food just a little loud but I would definitely go back!
Excellent service & delicious Walleye Pike. A bit noisy.
Seems like it has lost its luster, I had not been in a while and was disappointed. The waiter was pleasant but he did not get my order correct and I was done with my main by the time he got around to correct it. Also it was pricey.
Restaurant was a bit loud at first but it is in the theater district and everyone pretty much comes and goes at the same time. We were there when everyone left and the restaurant noise level was definitely lower. My husband had the steak and I had the lasagna. Both were outstanding. Our server was wonderful, being attentive without being overly intrusive. The wines, which we always order by the bottle, were pricey but excellent. Would definitely go back on another trip to Chicago.
We ate before seeing a show. They took great care of us! First great thing- they asked if we were seeing a show to make sure they got us out the door in time. The food was all delicious! 2 of our party had a gnocchi and lamb dish that they loved. The lamb was tender and delicious. Another had gluten free pasta with sausage and mushrooms that was great. The fourth had a risotto special with crab. Clean plates all around. Service was excellent. I would definitely recommend !
