312 Chicago is centrally located the Loop Theater and Financial District. Every room offers iconic city views including City Hall, the Thompson Center, the Board of Trade and the Cadillac Palace Theater. The ambiance evokes the comfort and sophistication of a 1930’s supper club, but the style is pure, modern elegance with rich walnut wood and dramatic chandeliers.

Very good. Crowded for lunch, but was given a very nice booth. I’ll be back. Thanks.
Absolutely delicious. Fantastic service and food. Conveniently located in the Theater District. Walking distance from Oglivy train station. Would
Highly recommend this restaurant but
be sure to make reservations.
This is a Chicago institution and always a crowd pleaser, you can always count on a great meal.
312 Chicago is one of my favorite restaurants. It never disappoints.
The service is the stand out feature at this restaurant!
An excellent options for theatre-goers, this centrally located restaurant is within easy walking distance to the Goodman as well as Palace theater. Parking is available. The food and service are excellent.
We have been at 312 before... and this time we were having dinner pre-opera. The food was tremendous. My grilled shrimp were fantastic and my companion's tortellini were terrific. We left nothing. We had a few minor requests - and the waiter was gracious and made sure we were truly happy. The bread served as an opener was delicious. We were just so pleased with the dinner and the great service I wanted to share with others
Always a pleasure...….food and service is wonderful......Luis took very good care of us. 312 is our go-to place for pre Opera/Theater dining.
Lunch was just OK - not great, not bad.
Delicious food. Love the unique menu choices! Brussel sprout appetizer and squash tortelloni were both decadent - tasty flavor combos. Service was excellent. Would definitely return!
Amazing Italian food and they could do just about everything gluten free!
Great food, and excellent service! Perfect for casual or formal business dinners if you need a spot in The Loop.
It was the best meal I’ve had in a long time!
We had a dinner at 312 Chicago to celebrate my husband's birthday. The restaurant's staff made us feel special. The food and service was excellent.
Very good food value considering the theater district. Great service and attentive staff. Would definitely go back to try another dish.
It was our Christmas gathering
Last minute dinner. Dinner was amazing. Exceeded our expectations. Kids meal cane with sundae and a cookie. My wife could talk the cookies were scratch baked
They only have the thanksgiving dinner menu, and it’s too much food for us.
Great thanksgiving menu!!
In town visiting for Thanksgiving Day parade, so had to eat out. Family wanted traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Found 312 Chicago on Open Table app and the menu worked for the family. I have no idea what the food is like on a normal night, but the fixed menu Thanksgiving dinner was outstanding. Each course had a couple of different options and all were delicious and very generous portions. Too generous really...who can eat a huge piece of lasagna or huge serving of tortolloni for primi and then eat a full turkey dinner after? Or in my case I opted for the salmon entree. Was thrilled for a non-turkey option. Call me crazy, but turkey is blah to me. Anyway, everybody’s meals were delicious and I was happy to take home everybody’s leftover lasagna and tortolloni. Made for a delicious and substantial leftovers meal. The acorn squash soup was also amazing. And found a little bit of room for pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. But no way I could eat it all. Again, delicious though. Staff was gracious enough to give my kids ice cream and chocolate sauce in lieu of the grown up desserts. Meals were a bit pricey, but it’s downtown Chicago and Thanksgiving. They were kind enough to offer dinner for about half price for the kids...while still serving the same portion sizes which is nuts. My kids eat like birds. But, more leftovers! Overall wonderful experience. Service was great. Who wants to work on Thanksgiving? They did a great job. First Thanksgiving dinner in a restaurant was a great success! Hope all their other meals are just as good. Will definitely recommend to my Chicago friends or anybody visiting Chicago.
Best service ever! Love this place.
We had a party of 11 on a Saturday night. We were placed in a nice area, and were not "cramped" at all. The service was impeccable, start to finish. The appetizers were excellent--the calamari was magnificent. Everyone loved the pastas. The filet was one of the best I have ever eaten. It was only $35...at any other steakhouse in Chicago it would have been $55-60. We had a GREAT evening.
Service was excellent-they were very keyed into the pre-theater crowd.
Food and service were great. Been there several times and highly recommend it. I was a little concerned when they seated us in the bar but it worked out with no real difference from upstairs.
Would definitely dine there again. Everything was wonderful!
Outstanding food, based on the waiters recommendation
Fantastic place! The food is always great, fresh, and delicious.
Frankie was our waiter and was very attentive and provided fantastic service! Will be coming back soon.
Did the pre fix meal and it was fabulous as well as economical by large city standards. Also did the wine pairing which was well done. Not a fan of Moscoto that was served with dessert but that was on us not the restaurant. After seeing Hamilton that afternoon it was the perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday weekend. Looking forward to returning.
Mainly theatre goers. Food is good - service is good.
Great business meeting location for both breakfast and lunch.
Food was great, it was just a little cold in there.
Always a pleasure! Great food, service and ambiance.312 has the best staff......we are always greeted like cherished friends. Salvador took great care of us. 312 is our go-to pre Opera dining spot. No one else in the neighborhood compares.
Delicious food and excellent service. Good atmosphere and we got a nice corner table.
The food is consistently average. The only benefit of eating here is its proximity to the Cadillac Pqlace Theater.
The service was excellent. My group of friends had a lot of catching up to do so we lingered over lunch and were never pressured to leave early. I really appreciate that.
312 is a very cozy restaurant with tasty food and excellent service.
