The last time I was here was about a year ago. I'm not inclined to come back. We arrived at 6:30 (my guest had an early flight the next day--so an early dinner). It was still happy hour when we arrived and despite having made a dinner reservation, the only table available was a high top in the bar area. It was VERY noisy until happy hour ended. I ordered a ribeye. It was a mixed experience, with the negatives overwhelming the positives. At least a third of the ribeye was gristle and inedible. It took a few bites before I realized this was going to be an ongoing problem. Nothing quite so professional as having to spit our part of your food during a business dinner. Really no nice way of doing that. On the bright side, the part of the meat that wasn't gristle was really tasty. Just one final note--a little annoyance, but I think reflective of the attitude of the staff. I made my reservation via opentable the night before the dinner. The day of I got a voicemail from the restaurant that said, "I need you to call me back to confirm" in a kind of snotty tone. I don't mind calling to confirm, but something a little more customer-oriented like, "if you could call us back to confirm we would appreciate it" seems more appropriate to me. Another positive, they do validate for parking in the garage across the street on Pine. Still, nothing about this experience makes me want to go back. So many interesting places in downtown Orlando, why waste an evening here.
Great burger and I loved their Onion Bisque which was the Soup if the Day.
Hadn’t been here in awhile, and have been very satisfied in the past, but this experience was lackluster at best.
All three appetizers were poor (calamari and gator were both so tough as to require a knife; salmon bites didn’t taste like salmon). Entrees (steak, duck, salmon) were mediocre.
Super service, calamari nice and crispy, and great steaks .
The food and service was great. Amazing ambiance if for a date night or special occasion.
Great service. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. We had a great time with friends. Will return. The Salmon fettuccini was delicious.
Asked for window seat, got placed in the back. Service was OK, server a little fake friendly.
The venue was very nice, service good and the food tasty. But the cold night and large I interior made the restaurant a little chilly. We still enjoyed it.
The food was delicious and we had a great server, he was very attentive.
The location was great. I was not impressed with the table setup. Most were not level and there were no table cloths. The food was just okay. For a place know for steak mine was mediocre at best. My wife’s tuna salad was great and the kids meals were great also. The wait staff was awesome.
