My son & I enjoyed our meal and Tammy was a very good server.
Great view of the lake from outdoor covered patio. Very good service and food.
We have been to Lakeside several times. But, I will rate this as our best experience so far. The hostess worked diligently to get us a great seat with a great view. The waitress was friendly, helpful and patient. We had the fried oyster appetizer and ordered 4 different entrees and all was delicious.
We made 3:15pm reservations for a late lunch / early dinner. After we were seated we were told the kitchen doesn’t open until 4pm. We really weren’t in a hurry but why accept reservations for 3:15? Fish tacos sounded great but only available fried. They have baked haddock on the menu but wouldn’t substitute. Sitting on the back deck on a 75 degree afternoon is awesome. Service was otherwise good. We’ve been here several times and will go again.
Beautiful evening to enjoy the outside deck overlooking a peaceful lake. The food and drink were great as udual
Sat outside great atmosphere
Food and service was great
The parking is terrible as you probably are aware. The food was good but prices are little steep but I am sure that is the case everywhere nowadays. Was disappointed that you were out of Coors Lite but it is what it is. We were there to celebrate our 57th anniversary and hoped that it would be more memorable. On the up side, the waitress was a sweetheart so all was not lost. We hope that you and your staff have a wonderful and safe summer.
First time there. Tried it from friend recommendations. Biggest draw is the patio seating and views of the lake. Music (classic rock playlist) is pretty loud, which we didn’t mind, but if you weren’t a fan of loud rock or looking for a quiet patio dining experience, it could be annoying. Place was bustling (Saturday evening) and the indoor dining area was quite nice as well. Staff was great. Server, Jillian, was super friendly and attentive. Food was decent. Tuna wasabi app was great. Clam chowder not so much. Oily, thick and starchy. Didn’t finish that. Fish tacos and steak tips entrees were good. Found it odd that cocktails and beers were served in plastic cups, but fine for a casual, water-front vibe. Good experience overall.
We had an 8 pm reservation and was seated right away. We opted for the deck but as soon as the sun went down the mosquitoes were everywhere and we had to finish our dinner indoors. We've been here a few times and the food has always been good and the service is great too. Nice views from inside as well as outside.
Whether you’re looking for a fun time filled with music and laughter, or prefer a quieter night overlooking a peaceful lake, 308 Lakeside is the place for you! With several areas inside and out to dine or just kick back with a drink, there are many ways to enjoy this fun and beautiful atmosphere. The food was great and the prices were fair. We went for our anniversary dinner, but we will be back with the kids!
Great seating on the porch
Always a great place to dine outside on the deck!
We sat on the deck by the water! It was a perfect day! Sunny with a beautiful breeze! The quesadillas were delicious! Steak taco special was great!
Enjoyable atmosphere with Great Lake/sunset view from deck, good music on the speakers. Huge portion of Fish&chips tasted good. Big chunks on lobster roll was also good. Couple beers and wife’s mixed drink were good. Parking lot fils easily, so may have to park up the street and walk (or I think they may have valet at times). Overall very enjoyable experience with good food and pretty gif value with very enjoyable atmosphere overlooking the lake.
The waitress was excellent. She was very personable, prompt and helpful.
I love this place! Last night I ordered the fish tacos and sweet potato waffle fries. I could not finish either one, the amount of food they give you is enough for two meals for sure. My companions had the grilled shrimp Caesar Salad and the chicken parm. Both looked outstanding and both loved their meals as well. No matter where you sit, you get a great view of Lake Lashua.
The menu was varied, but my lakeside chicken pasta was bland, stated Alfredo sauce with herbs, it did not taste like Alfredo and there were no herbs I had to add salt and pepper to get any flavor into it, and the chicken was extremely tough
Emmy G was our server and she was wonderful! We were on the upper deck and great food and ambience.
The lake view is lovely. Friday night is apparently acoustic live music night; fun selection of 90s music but the singers were, sorry to say, not great. Service was friendly but slow to greet us. We sat inside; table was sticky and not pleasant to touch. As for the food, it was a mixed bag. Scallops special with lobster sauce was tasty though a bit overpriced. My wife had a Mediterranean shrimp and chicken pasta dish which was, frankly, very disappointing for the price. The few shrimp were fine but the chicken was crazy overcooked/tough - tasted like it might have been reheated from the day before. Pulp Daddy draft beer was tasty. Overall, it was fine. We'll be back to sit outside and try the burgers or fish and chips. Sandwiches and finger food with beer might be a better option than fancy entrees for this place. Upon first impression at least. Great location and views though.
We were able to get a table outside which was great! Service was spot on! Even stuck around after dinner for live music! Pretty nice place-no wonder there is always cars parked up and down the street. The only issue was that I couldn’t add 2 people to my table without the time changing
First time at 308 lakeside after going by many times and seeing many cars parked on street. We liked it and would go again. The food was good and chowder was excellent. Highly recommended.
Service and food were outstanding!! View of the lake was beautiful, even in the rain!
Beautiful view of the lake, staff were helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was deliscious. We did not feel rushed and enjoyed being able to catch up. Highly recommend.
My friend and I ordered the Avacado chicken sandwich the Chicken on her sandwich were not at all good, mine was overcooked and lacking a nice texture.
Been trying to get here and check out the new digs and finally was able to get there for lunch food and service was great. Drinks are very reasonable. Only complaint is that parking is tight and can be pain.
Great. Quick service. Excellent food
I love my dining experiences at 308 Lake. Service, food and atmosphere is good and consistent. The only drawback on this particular Wednesday is that we were seated outside (which is preferred and was requested) and right behind us on the driveway to the side of the restaurant was a beer truck with some sort of giant pressurized tank that was releasing pressure off which was very loud and we had to shout to hear ourselves talk until it finally stopped.
Wonderful restaurant! Great atmosphere and wonderful views of the lake. Food was excellent.
This is such a beautiful location overlooking a peaceful lake close to Sturbridge and Brimfield. Our server was friendly and professional, he got everything right including a complicated drink request, the food was good and the peanut butter pie for dessert was decadently delicious. Will return again, thanks!
This place is a step up from a chain restaurant in atmosphere but lacks the quality control and consistency. It's one of the only non-house of pizza eateries in the area so it does good business but the food is nothing to rave about. The Buffalo Mac was just buffalo tenders placed on top of a plate of mac and cheese, the "house made" veggie burger was clearly a frozen puck off the shelf.
The service was fine but nothing rave about, I wouldn't say they were exceptional. They were slow to bring things like ketchup and drink refills.
It feels like a place that would be ripe for a reality tv show makeover. Move this to any other populated town or away from a lake and it'd never survive.
Food was terrible, no need to return for a second chance
Awesome as always
Excellent food and atmosphere… great spot for lunch or dinner
It was quite crowded but our server manage to take care of us very well! She kept our drinks refreshed and brought condiments and napkins without us having to ask! It was a great night!
Great food, fantastic service, phenomenal views!!!
Very good salad, pretty view of the lake and we had a great waitress!
Food was excellent and everyone was very happy with their meals. The only negative was a few of our party had mixed drinks and they were watered down in a tall glass and were pricey. Not sure if the bartender put any alcohol in the drinks.
Excellent place. Been there twice so far and plan on many more visits!
The 308 Lakeside is clean, has a beautiful view of the lake. Every seat in this restaurant has a nice view. The food is always good.
We enjoyed our visit to 308. The food was delicious, it was a treat to dine on the deck. The waitress was fantastic! We will definitely be back!
