300 East Ratings and Reviews
My Fiancé and I went to 300 east for Valentines Day. Honestly overall was pretty good however, they crammed to many tables in the upstairs area that was sort of chaotic. The Salmon was under cooked, maybe some people like it like that... the asparagus was over cooked and too oily. The Steak was cooked perfect and was delicious, wine was wonderful and staff was great.
There were 7 of us for dinner and each agreed that the meals and service were OUTSTANDING! We will be back soon! Have to share this FB comment from a member of our group: "The hanger steak is seasoned and grilled perfectly (I ordered it medium, since many restaurants slightly undershoot the temperature mark, and--sure enough--it came out a perfect medium rare. Keep that in mind when you order). It was topped with a marinated caramelized onion marmalade and a beautiful horseradish sauce, on top of a seasoned potato cake with sauteed green beans on the side. Campers, this was the best steak I've had in a restaurant in years!"
Please share that with the chef. Also thank our waitress for making our evening so wonderful!
We went on Saturday for an early Valentine's Day brunch and it was lovely. The food was great and the house is beautiful. Definitely make a reservation for weekend brunch, the place was packed. Cheap brunch cocktails, though they aren't anything fancy. We'll be coming back again!
The menu is innovative and well priced. My crab cake was wonderful but the potatoes that came with it were cold. Also there was a very big air leak in the window where we sat making it necessary to keep my coat on through the meal. The service was quick and very efficient.
Good location with easy parking at rear of property. Nice bar with good service. Table was available on time as booked. Space was a little tight but no real problem. Service was friendly and efficient as appropriate for this restaurant style. Interesting menu, food was very good and excellent value for money.
My husband and I have enjoyed the ambiance and great service at 300 East a number of times. This restaurant is consistently good with many special dishes that come from locally source food. We enjoyed our evening and split a few appetizers and entres because it all looked so good
This was our first visit, and we came as part of the Queen's Feast. Glad we chose 300East. Started with Pinot Grigio, then chose the salad as a starter. I had the salmon and spinach and my husband chose the steak with potatoes. Both were very good. We also added the soup of the day to our order, and the bean, potato and chorizo soup was very tasty and the French Onion was some of the best I've tasted. Our dessert was the brownie, and it was delicious! Service was timed perfectly, and the venue is charming. We will definitely be back, because we hear Sunday brunch is excellent!
Excellent meal and service. The warm goat cheese ap was delicious. The hanger steak and potatoes were well seasoned and the meat was very tender. The brownie was out of this world. Dense, fudge like with caramel sauce to and vanilla ice cream. Our sever was prompt, friendly and thoughtful. She didn't interrupt and gave us just the right amount of attention. All and all a really nice diner. Great for lunch too.
The food and drinks were amazing. We had the perfect table upstairs away from a large group with plenty of privacy. The only problem was that the location was not conducive to service. This wasn't much of an issue since everything was ordered at once, but we also had to wait about 10+ minutes at the bar downstairs to get our drinks before moving upstairs. (It wasn't crowded)
